  1. same will happen as always, I mean that ladies been complaining for 7 years, and its been happening there years, used to be a regular drag location and the pubs used to be packed with bikies etc. Sure it was over the top(mind you at 1st it was a bit of fun) but i hope those involved realise theres better areas to do that sort of thing. As for the news segment it will be online for all to download tomorrow
  2. Easy, check the sticker/label which points out when the timming belt was changed last. A R32 GT-R i looked at a while back had 60,000k's on the clock with a timing belt changed at 115,000k's.. go figure
  3. it was on towards start of news, not to much footage, few burnouts etc. usuall calling us all evil evil ppl etc. will have a copy online tomorrow
  4. yes, its on channel 7 news tonite
  5. glad to hear it. Atleast they've paid up, looking forward to your new beast
  6. ah crap gav.. hang on.. this china gav? LTNS, knew u'd get a gt-r Pity bout the insurance issue, i had to fight damn hard to get any after write off as well
  7. hmm.. if your refering to the White R32 its a gts-t from memmory and not a gt-r. Ross is waiting on final word from assesor in regards to what will happen.
  8. unfortunately RB crusies are plagued with events. As for the falcon.. thats a EB GLi not a GT of any sort..
  9. YES thats the 1. I was gonna get pics of it for a laugh. such an abomination. the pulsar they moved onto wasnt much better with chrome hubcaps and painted wiper blades and other stuff.. *shakes head*
  10. heh dont laugh.. there was an old yellow volvo near where i live which had twin black cobra racing strips painted on it and a big NRNR sticker as well as a BIG MUGEN sticker on the back window.. it was a complete shitter and the owner needed to be shot.
  11. got a link for the program so i can see what my pc gets?
  12. a Wet nos system as oposed to a dry system is a much better and safer way to go about it. A wet system also ahsa fuel line plumbed in so it sprays a mix of nos and fuel thus your engine doesnt lean out and detonate. A few people run nos in WA, assocaite Pete runs it in his VH commodore and runs 12.2's and Jani runs it in his Maloo R8 Auto and has done a 10.9 pass. the VS ute with plates [KORRUPT] Also runs nos. and a bunch of other cars i can't be bothered naming
  13. ran 11.16 and it didnt want to go into 4th. so should be fun when its all sorted
  14. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php...=&threadid=3624 for an example of what we do on our side of things
  15. At ls1.com.au we have a "quick list" where users can have their 1/4mile times added and we have it in 10/11/12/13 second brackets and the cut off is a 13.9 to be on the list. Also has list of basic mods(heads/cam, supercharged/nos, slicks, diff ratio, weight) etc. Recently we've added what state as well for some friendly rivalry just a suggestion
  16. Get my license back middle of november so wonder if you guys are having any cruises planned for then?
  17. Bah you people know shit when it comes to no rear traction.. buy a ute with no weight at the back.. then u learn of grip issues.. Sure power cars will break traction, but thats price u guys pay for having big turbo's which hit boost like a sledge hammer. If the rest of the car isnt in harmony with it then it won't work. For those who have downloaded my video's posted in WA section u can see differance between a hypo launch where i can hit 2nd and light up the rears and then when i do a controlled launch and sure its slower but ya get that.. I also spent a day at the drags learning to launch hard via riding the clutch etc. I run 255/17/40's on the rear Bridgestone B540S's R-compound and 1.5degrees neg camber(track work setup) and i can still get power down.. then again i only drive a commodore eh my 60' is still 2.151 i know with slicks i can get this down at on the day i drive my r-comps to their limit and mine. So as slip said, alot of its to do with the driver, all u naysayers going on how ud only use X amount of power without opening the throttle.. its a trade off u have to make.. simple thats my 2c from a trevs pov..
  18. ooo good to hear Gav I took it more so could hear how my baby sounds from outside as i dont often get to hear it

  21. N1 comes with differant turbos, differant suspension, differant ATESSA settings, no aircon, no radio(from factory) and a few other items for more poke.. Now the 400R is the god amongst stock GT-R's with a factory 2.7L engine (RB-X) and a superior power figure(we all know the quotes of 206kw are underrated on even stocko's). Overall i'd sell my gf for 1 hahaha but dont tell her i said that ;D
  22. yay matts here, now some competition AMTC is East Perth Tafe Campus, i went there in 2000 and 2001
