we did about 220 i think on that stage, i just looked forward and at the road seeing this cornernig approaching us(i do recall dad shifting into 5th tho). Your Zed is beautiful, probably 1 of the nicest imports i have seen ever. Not to mention you great driving style, at burswood that was amazing ass out around most corners.. i'll have a look at that nengun site thanks should be good. Matt Webbs ya bro? Yeh i was at the dyno day.. the dyno at myaree reads high(hence rb like it).. Yeh cops ahve tried from time to time, blocked of the ends in a "random" inspection, told everyone to piss off otherwise they'd fine them etc. Its all fun, we see it more as a joke and go there have some fun, then amongst ourselves organise a bit of after meet activities

I did my runs at a late enough time (approx 2am) where only other cars on road were people from a cruise, and even then only saw 2 at the time. As i said i don't condone such driving, but i am interested to see how quick she goes. As for the thursday night thing, no i wasn't there that night, had a business dinner to attend but i can usually be found there still, cops have done sfa really we just get less dickheads now.

actually it wasnt a midnight cruise was after another cruise and they were heading home roads were empty id wind it out, overtook them and kept going, did the run 4 times that night was good, passenger enjoyed it to, the cars dead stable, seems the areodynamics arent that shabby on them and the suspension is setup nicely. Its not something i recommend everyone to try and do tho

On my own? but u said u'd like to see the ute hold the road at that speed.. come on i can show you its fun and very stable btw kids dont try this at home, i'm a trained professional hoon

also strich, i'm guessing u know Mark Rice and Franz.. ask them.. i a flyby on them via emergency lane during a run

ok done. i'll take you for a drive in it then.. I've done several speed runs in the ute exceeding 255kmh(i know this as the speedo stops at this point but rpms keep climbing)

Been Quoted $440 for an Apex'i RSM from Formaz(cheaper than xspeed $500+ I intend to install it in my ute mostly for the fact i'll get aspeed reading over 255kmh.. i know it also shows RPM. but what other features does it have? i've heard various things like air fuel ratio etc as well.. but i'd like other peoples views on this.. also.. is the price right or are there cheaper 1's available through other suppliers?

I am a network administrator. as for court fee's mine were $38 so i dont see how u can manage $2500 and if you drag it out in court, thats your own choice and thus should be prepared for the costs and time involved. Eitherway good luck with your venture, but is it worth all the hassle rather than the initial fine/points?

Heh, been there.. altho was more a case of.. rumour was going round at kingsway/beldon i was running a form of nos.. so driving to a location cop pulls me over "u havent got anything in the back u shouldnt have?" "no i dont officer" "mind if i look?" "be my guest" he had a check of the tray etc.. nothing. Only found out the next day that people thought i was running nos and were talking about it in a less thatn discreet fashion

I live in Mt pleasant near there as well, but i got no license so i wouldn't of been much use haah

Cops did make themselves felt tho being here there and everywhere, but was all fun They ignored me when i questioned them about the new story.. or about permits for modifications performed on their vehicle etc Ah well.. its all good

RB gets to much police attention especially when they tell the police where they're going. As for leach hwy being used as a drag strip, thats plain stupid.. The reason all those cars kept going back and forth that night is because they didnt know if they were going to wellard, ankatell or naval base. I have permits now for my bucket seats and my tacho. Mrsnrub blitz pod shouldn't be an issue, we have 1 of those steel 1's on the sti and got a permit for it as "aftermarket filter", aslong as it has a securing bracket. Last night went there in friends car parked away and had a looksi, a few cars, nowhere near as many as used to be... went to look at a VL 5L and cop literly said "what you guys doing here? pissoff because your all loitering".. goto love that tact

haha usuall trevs comment.. another typicaly uniformed person it seems.. check the footage, various imports are there, infact theres a large proportion of import drivers at these events.. *end flame* As for ausing hassle for joe public.. how? we fill up a carpark after work hours, we do not block roads that get used by general public at late night etc.. as for yellows hows that a deterent? most people i know that got yellow now have just got permits instead and will be back. Fact remains it will always happen to why make a fuss over it, noise pollution i hear joe citizen shout.. i'm sorry but we park next to a 6 lane hwy that takes trucks from most of WA into the fremantle port etc. Media and police blow all these events out of proportion ina vain attempt to make it look like they are doing something constructive. pretty sad imho

I've counted over 100 cars at times at some of these meets we've had.. we've had leach hwy car park over flowing with vehicles etc. SO yeh.. just curious whether 90% of u lot who comment actually show at these events or not, if so fair enough must go at differant times than me

bahahaha, there was NO mention of drifting on the news at all.. it was about street racing and burnouts, and it was all clueless **** as usuall from the media. Article in todays(wednesdays) west australian as well on it. Had **** footage of some crap vl's single spinning etc. I usually go there every thursday night and its no where near as bad as they make it out to be.. its usuall police sucking at their reall job so lets target a minority group(modified car owners) and hassle them. Goto love it.. PS, i was 1 of those "40"(i'd say more) defect noticed vehicles PPS got it over same way few days later.
