  1. i believe gotboost was on nittos as well.
  2. Gav as Steve said easy. Hell theres so much more left in my engine even at 1 bar its not funny, only thing holding it back is the stock internals
  3. http://summoner.perthstreetcars.net/Cefiro/ thats my baby
  4. Yeh just Bens' happens to stick in mind due to being covered in HPi etc
  5. EVLR33, your friends are on crack. I've done hillclimbs, cruises, autokhana's etc with 540's and they are brilliant, especially when on heat. Hell we even did Targa on 540's in 2000 and they were fantastic. As for tread, ever seen a new 540? tons of it Not having a dig but those views you posted go against everyone elses i've heard on them
  6. On that note i'd almost hazard a guess you are Ben Ellis as i was thinking about his R34 GT-T, yet you say "your" suspension setup.. curious
  7. i was refering to Nittos wheni mentioned slicks as they are a semi slick tyre as oposed to a standard street tyre ala pauls
  8. Bridgestone RE540's best overall tyre evar. Or even the RE55 WT. Kumo KU15's are a good overall tyre too
  9. i seem to recall use of slicks.. and bits breaking..
  10. Chasing any information people mite have on the 3 RB26 Cefiros in QLD. Mods, power figures, 1/4mile times. Keen to see how mine stands overall to these
  11. r33 heavier than r32. RB25 is a canvas with alot more potential, more off boost reponce etc. For his $5k budget he's better off with a reliable streetable package like an Rb25(even stock) over a tickled RB20. I made 306rwhp on an RB20 on a budget was fun etc but off boost like most RB20's its a pain. I'd of rather saved money
  12. the weather was shithouse even without effort off the line we had wheel spin at some stages.. literally going no where without just easing out of clutch. Heavy rain, wet roads etc.. overall suprised it wasnt worse
  13. I have no doubt of its potential. I cant pull on it with 4 people in my car yet i can easily walk away from other reasonably quick cars(low 13's etc) as if they standing still.. once again with a full load. What speculation you want on his HP.. if you'd see it you'd believe it.
  14. best thing to do is remove the RB20 and put in RB25DET+gearbox
  15. Even better. Watch it Ant, i'll c if I can scare you haha... *dreams*
  16. Custom turbos, they were previousely on Fabs GTR and made some good #'s roughly equiv to 2540's
  17. buster, he's running nos though I guess we are talking unassisted
  18. I have seen pauls cars go and its definately got some balls, wasnt catching him at all in my cefiro. As for stock cams, proof is in the pudding be an unwise man who doubts the expertise and knowledge of someone like SST steve or ND4SPD.
  19. haha yeh exhaust got fixed within 10mins. Cruising tonite was shocking, we didnt take car over 3500rpm and it still stepped out a few times. Was still not to bad overall but I would love some sunny w/ends
  20. I still love it, now its all only teething problems that occur. Easy fixes, car had to get to workshop somehow anyway. Was a fun cruise last night till it broke, was interesting to see how it went rolling with a few cars.
  21. bam bam's right. Its running a tickled RB26DETT. Atm though its not running.. again 2nd time she's come home within a week on back of a flat bed tow truck. Seems that i've managed to break the pedal box, namely the clutch pedal. *sigh*
  22. engine, box, diff is skyline
  23. Rob I'd say the Corsa rates over the Nero. But for average road user who wants high grip i'd recommend the Bridgestone RE540 or the RE55 TT(middle range compound heaps up nicely and then grip all day). With any high grip tyre don't expect much tread to be left on the rears anyway when i used to run 540's and kuhmo's on my ute on the front they'd last for ever
  24. Kumhmo KU15's are good i found, bit more pricey though at around $250/tyre or so though
  25. no more $'s atm need custom front sway bar and 2 new front coilies *ergh* new rubber goes on front today and fronts onto back hehe
