uve got 4 more which are close to completion...might be able to finish them on wed. i can put u next on the list? unless u mean u cant afford it now but in the future? are you aware of the guy making them in nz? might be easier for you to get one from him? http://www.blazt.biz/300/interface/index.html

currently pretty hard cause the only instructions/layout id have for it on an excel spreadsheet (ive attached a pic of the spreadsheet just if u want to see for urself what im working with atm. the pcb has two lines on the left, with 18 rows across of 4 holes each (seperated by the width of the ICs). custom pcb would definitely need much easier, would just be much "cleaner"/easier to put together...but id still need to design that and find out how much itd cost id imagine the kit would hopefully be around the 40$ region, depends on the custom pcb and how confident id be if i got x custom pcbs made that theyd all be used.

ALLBLITZ - R34 4 Door Auto - $18,500
NewKleer replied to allblitz's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
only the rb20de engined r34 are not able. the rb25de is able to be complied due to being 105kw/tonne, and therefore over the threshold http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/030-00.htm -
ALLBLITZ - R34 4 Door Auto - $18,500

gt-x is rwd, the 4wd ones have "FOUR" in their name (eg gt-x four, gt four...like the rs four that stagea's have) -
no they shouldnt as consult wasnt finalised and implemented by the time the early r32's were being made mid 89.
-
consult would still only read assuming that static ignition timing is correct (it has no way to know if its not). if u didnt have remapped ecu then id just try pick up an ecu from a 91+ r32 if this is compatible, then u can wire a consult plug in (just get one from wreckers, might not even charge u for it). but depends how much u want consult (but its very useful), and whether theres any other issues with it
-
theres a "for sale" section on these forums (would you believe it?) that contains a fair few. i saw 2 threads that have been replied to in the last 2 hours if ur too lazy to search ($350 and $400)
-
any chance the ecu is consult capable? would help the cause tremendously as u can then reset ecu, then log rpm/afm/timing and easily notice any drop in timing when the knock sensor registers a knock and puts in on the heaps retarded map. if its tuned ecu, then perhaps this retarded map is indeed retarded (pun intended) - ie perhaps the fuel map if there is a seperate knock fuel map, is a really lean map and thus there is your problem. this of course doesnt help if the static ignition timing isnt right (the ecu tune probably would not have accounted for far advanced static ignition timing, so maybe that is a further issue.

by the way, this will be the last lot for a while (uni assignments/exams coming up) - at least till july. then ill also be looking into making custom pcb so that i can make a kit for others to put together themselves, to save me time (and theyd cost less obviously for u to put together yourself) they take too long for me to do them all, especially when i have more exciting things to move on to (including pocketpc consult software).

High Pitched Squeal On RB20 GTST
NewKleer replied to Drift Freak's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
well on mine, i had an aftermarket intercooler (thus more clamps and more prone to leaks) and 3 out of the 6 clamps had either not been tightened properly or was loose to start with at certain points (bottom right when i bought it, then throttle body one skipping thread after refitting when replacing radiator, and later bottom right clamp not tightened enough) first one that existed when i bought the car made a whistle sound when turbo kicked in, next one made similar sound at high boost, and final one (with an obviously loose clamp u could move with hand) made a fart-cushion/air horn type squeal above 0-5psi) sorry if you thought i meant stock one - hopefully its less prone to problems. -
High Pitched Squeal On RB20 GTST

often a clamp being loose/thread overrun -
got an assignment due monday that ive been caught up with got 2 more (neo_34 and webber if he's still interested, otherwise urs) that need wiring/box done, hopefully ill get some time by tuesday at latest, but more than likely tomorrow/weekend ill get that done. then ill start on another 6 or 8 (only have 6 boxes left i think) and i guess aim to have them done by the next weekend. at some point i aim to get a schematic drawn up and possibly instructions on how to make it just like i am (same parts/board etc) for anyone that wants to make it themselves (and save some $). just the difficulty with that is it might end up taking more time to help with people who get stuck than to do it myself, but ill see how things go
-
so the question remains, if its registered, why does it need compliance? or did it somehow get registered without compliance? nics or eccs?

pm'ed bank details. like ive said to a few in pm's, its preferable if you transfer money only after ive confirmed making more successfully (eg maybe im missing a part/have some trouble etc that could delay things - im not, but who knows) - just so your not waiting too long after paying. i think ive got enough parts to make 12 more at this stage

datascan should run on win95/98 - on low spec laptops, itd run better on 95/98 due to less overhead by os. not sure about the other programs. thats for the free conzult - i think its the software most likely to work well (less graphics etc). i personally wouldnt go with datascan if u only have access to low spec laptop, just cause its not up to me whether u could get a refund if it doesnt work sufficiently on your laptop. perhaps pm TomR33 and ask him (on these forums), as hes the one who wrote it.

maximumrpm: p166 would have to be absolute minimum i guess for nissan datascan (due to gauges etc) - but other software, and theres plenty of alternatives, im sure ud find some which is bound to work better. if i was in ur situation id just get the interface and try all the free software first. worst case, if its too slow and u have no alternative, if the interface is still in original condition i can refund you. bless_you: hope to have 4 more made (see second post) by weekend, then ill start another lot. cant say for sure how much, but id definitely try to keep up with however many are needed without too much delays (within reason...they each take at least a few hours to make, but might be able to get it dont quicker in parallel) only a few capacitors are stopping me making more than 4 (might get some tomorrow if i think of it)

or unplug battery, press the brakes, and optionally, leave it unconnected overnight and ur ecu will have lost its memory
