  1. Hey guys, Just swapped the turbo's on my RB26 and need to get new gaskets. Pretty much all of the gaskets connecting the Manifold / Dumps / Turbo / Intake Piping etc. I know Nissan sell them but wondering if anyone else does? Possibly cheaper??
  2. Thanks! Thats a good point, could sell it and use the money for the car specific cooler. I'll only be running 330ish kw until i get some more gear anyway so i guess its not critical!
  3. Hey guys, Weird question but i thought id ask it. I have an R34 GTR, i also have the rolling shell and random bits and pieces from my R33 GTS-T. Now i bought a Trust V-SPL cooler for the R33, and since i sold the motor and box its obviously not being used anymore. My question is - Can i use the cooler on the R34 GTR? Like can i modify brackets etc and make it fit, i thought i possibly could. My second question is, does anyone know if it is much better then the standard R34 GTR cooler? I thought again it would be better, but probably not by a great deal. If i know people that can weld etc and it wouldn't be to much of an issue with the brackets would it be worthwhile doing this swap?? Opinions and info greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Ben.
  4. Ouch.. good luck with it all mate, hope there was not to much damage done!
  5. I have bought twice from Nengun, both times my goods arrived in around 3 - 4 weeks, but they always arrived as described and at a great price. It is true they take a long while to ship, so if your in a hurry to get your gear don't buy from them, but if your like me and im sure many others, and your slowly building up everything you need to do what you want then the shipping time isn't critical and the only thing that matters is the price. I've ordered two lots of stuff at around $5000AUD each, never been taxed by customs or anything yet *touch wood*
  6. I spent over $65000 on an R33 GTS-T excluding purchase price! Thats gotta count for something?

  11. Signed, whether people agree or not the idea of this is to support him to get representation and advice legally to give him the best possible chance. He deserves that, even if he has to serve 10 charges instead of 20 its still a vote well worth it imo.
  12. Can't edit original post but wanted to add - I will swap parts for an AVCR or E-Boost 2 also.
  13. Hey guys, Strange question, not at home at the moment to measure and need to know the fittings size that standard RB26 Turbo's off an R34 GTR would take? I think its 16mm but im sure. If someone would confirm that would be fantastic as my friend is trying to order some speedflow fittings for his turbo's. Thanks guys.

  15. Hey mate! Saw you read through my thread, i got mine out ok after a lot of trial and error haha. Im in the process at the moment of putting it all back on and so far so good. If you have some questions or anything you think i could answer (or have a go at answering) just yell! For the record, i got mine out front first then rear and found it to be fairly easy and i am refitting in the same manner with rear first and front second.
  16. WTT My GTR for a civic, preferably one that induces bowel movements upon planting of right foot
  17. I think it looks awesome, i love ferrari styling. Although my favourite is definitely the 430..
  18. I also was in the exact same situation. Although i ended up keeping the car and getting a bike. I started on a 05 GSX-R 750, was a fantastic bike, not agressive enough to launch you into space if you were a little tired and jolted the throttle a little, but still fast enough to scare the shite out of you when you wound it on. I sold my car and just had the bike for a while, it was great temorarily, but as soon as it started raining for a few days i was very unhappy. You can't see with the water all over your visor, the feeling of water streaming off the tank onto your crotch is just fantastic... other motorists hardly see you during the day, let alone in the rain when they can hardly avoid other cars let alone a bike. It is never relaxing, if you want to go on a Sunday cruise with a mate, you can't just relax with the windows down and cruise along having a chat, your always on edge on a bike, looking for who could possibly kill you or what could go wrong on the next corner (gravel, sticks, oil, grease, water etc). I then bought my GTR, did not regret it even slightly. I love riding, i go every weekend i can but nothing beats jumping in your car and going for a thrash with a mate and listening to some music. Actually thats another point, long distance trips on sports bikes... blows, you will be very sore, wrists, back and general body gets cramped unless you stop every few hours. All in all what im trying to say is, bikes are fantastic and definitely get one. I have since traded my 750 and have a GSXR 1000 K8. In short, its rediculous, they are extremely sharp and sensitive, if you don't treat them with respect you will die. I have had 3 mates come off 1000's because of throttle issues on cold tires or simple stuff like turning out of a street with some sand on the road, nothing fatal, but enough to write one side of the bike off and lose some skin. I don't think having a 1000 is really necessary unless your fairly serious about the track, you will never ever utilise anywhere near its potential on the road, the 750 was every bit as good for cruising about the place, the acceleration of the 1000's are brutal, 0 - 200km/h in around 7.4 seconds on the Gixxer K8 1000 (if you are good enough to do it, im not..) So if you can, keep the GTR and get a 600 or 750, i also agree with the others, i have ridden a few R1's and they are not as nice on the street as the GSXR or the CBR's. They lack torque and power low down, its all up in the high revs. They are not as happy to put around at 60 in high gears and the bike in general is tuned much more for track use then street use. You can see reviews of the bikes at Motorcycle USA, very good reads if you want to look at a few dif bikes. Oh, and here is my baby..
