Well they are in good condition i assume, from a 2001 GTR but i guess i won't know until tuning happens!

Just wanting some feedback regarding splitfire coils, i have an R34 GTR V-Spec II and an opportunity from a friend to get some Splitfire Coils for free (payment for money owed). Are they a worthwhile upgrade for a GTR or are the factory coils good enough? Planning on making 400ish hp and the wheels eventually! Thanks all!

I do completely agree with you there! I am going to come along to QR and get involved in track days. That experience made me aware of just how much fun track days could be! Losing the car would have been a very painful experience at that point in time

Well i just wanted to share my thoughts at the moment! I bought an R34 GTR V-Spec II, because i love the car, i love the heritage and i love what they can do. I never thought i was a great driver, but i thought i could drive it reasonably well and thought i had seen what it could do. That was until about 30 minutes ago when i was driving with a mate, he is a competitive drifter and frequents QR but ill let him remain nameless at the stage. I let him take over control, he having never driven a GTR and we headed for some windy roads, like really tight windy stuff where your basically sitting in the middle of second gear and up to the limiter. He absolutely threw what i thought the GTR could do out the window, shat on it, and then kept going. The MFD has never experienced so much action lol, i don't think the tires stopped squeeling for about 20 minutes and i didn't think it was possible to get a GTR as sideways as he did! He was an awesome driver and i definately have a new found respect for the experience and skills the track can give you. All i really wanted to get at out of all this is that im so so so far past incredibly impressed with what the car just did and went through in a fairly standard condition, im scared to think what its like once you get another few hundred horses under it. I love you nissan, thank you for building a truly amazing affordable supercar. And yes, i may sound like a schoolboy that just shot his first load, thats probably because i feel that way

Well from what i've been told they can handle 1 bar fine. I spose its a cheap alternative to more power. Find out what ever info you need to and if you want more info let me know

Whoops! Kind of forgot to mention the most important part.. I bought R34 N1 Turbo's for it! Clutch is a very good point

They are standard turbo's which i believe do use a ceramic wheel yes. Although i've been told they have a ball bearing core as opposed to the R32 / R33 GTR Turbo's.

Hey guys! Been collecting bits for my GTR VSpec II and finally getting organised to put stuff in. Currently i have the following - Full Exhaust w/ MetalCat (Standard Dumps) HKS Intake Kit Apexi PFC w/ Hand Controller 2 x Higher Flowing AFM's R34 GTR N1 Turbo's Now to make some power i imagine i will need a fuel pump and injectors. So i was going to track down some 600 - 800cc Injectors for it, but not quite sure what kind of pump ill require? also is there anything else i will need to change on the gtr that i have overlooked? Thanks in advance! Ben.
