Got Boost?

Yeah it would be replaced if it was faulty i believe. I just don't see how it had died between me turning the car off and then turning it on again from the same position. Is there a fuse or something there it could be?

Hey guys, I had an alarm installed in my car today and drove it home from the shop and it was fine. I just went back and jumped in it before, turned it on and everything sounded normal and good. Except i noticed when i was trying to turn the car out of the park the steering felt very stiff and a lot harder to pull around. I have no leaks or fluid under the car and it all sounds what i think is normal when i turn accessories on. Its just when cornering it feels like the power steering isn't there properly or something, but was working only an hour ago. Any info would be good, its a R34 GTR V-Spec also. If noone knows i might just take it to get checked out tomorrow.

Hey guys, I have been tossing up my options with ECU's recently and at this point the Haltech is seeming like a very good unit. I know the cost of it is a bit higher, but the fact that it has full aftermarket support (Unlike the Power FC), a lot more mapping points (According to people i've talked to) and a bunch of other advantages i am swaying toward it. I have done a few searches to try and find more info but with little success to this point. I just want to know peoples expererience with the Haltech units and opinions on the best thing for the R34 GTR. For Reference, supporting mods would be - Trust Dumps / Front Pipes / Catco Cat and Cat Back System - 800cc Sard Injectors / HKS Fuel Rail / Nismo Pump - HKS 2560(I think), GT-SS or GT-RS Im not to sure here yet - Nismo Coppermix Twin Plate - High Flow Nismo Panel Filter and modified induction to airbox Thanks Guys!

Hey guys, I've been playing around with the MFD on my GTR V-Spec II and i can't find the G-Meter. I can get to the duel gauge displays, and the individual listings of Inj / Throttle / Boost and all the Temperatures but as the majority of the menu is in Japanese i don't know if im doing something wrong of if there is something i'm not doing which is why i can't get to the meter. Any Help appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks for the info and the corrections! I am going to go for a Haltech e11v2 ecu for the car, with all the boost being controller through that unit. I've been told they are a great thing and will drastically improve the cars performance with a couple of supporting bolt on mods. Anyone have any comments about this idea? negative or positive? any feedback appreciated!

Hey guys, Just picked up my car today and im wondering what the procedure is with raising the boost in a 34 GTR V-Spec. It's got a cat back system on it and i presume i just need to buy an electronic boost controller and then raise it? Anyone know what the standard turbo's can handle on them? i believe they are steel wheels. Thanks for any advice!

I have custom fiberglass door pods to suit the door trim, apart from that all standard vents fit and function fine. Trim was done by Extreme Trimming on the Gold Coast.

They are not illegal, if you goto Custom Carbon in Brisbane they can make you a carbon fiber bonnet from scratch that is compliant, has the relative strengths and safety features to comply with ADR and still looks the goods. The law has to do with the underside structure and bracing and the way the vents are facing (if they are facing the windscreen they say oil may spray through it onto the screen obstructing your view) The guys there have done plenty of bonnets which you see on cars every day, such as the HLUCN8 GTR. Give them a call if you want info on them.

Was a fair bit more then 40 yeah, will be getting it tinted but i the kit will be remaining standard. I think they look tough straight from Nissan!

I recently had state roads do a full detailed report on the car, cost like $200 dollars but i think its money well spent and the report was very specific and thorough. Car got 95% in exterior, interior and mechanical so i'm very happy as i wasn't expecting the result to be that good! Id recommend this to anyone who is buying a car they want to be sure of, inspectors are very helpful and give you their phone number for further questions and contact.
