Amen to that... i almost shot someone twice along the way, mechanics that do a good job and don't tell you just what you want to hear are hard to find. ATS was the most pleasant surprise i've had with the knowledge and honesty about the whole project and costs involved. They really know there stuff and the quality is second to none. Don't get me started on the panel shops...

Thats exactly what i was hoping people would see! You don't realise just how much it all costs until you do it, this would be perfect for someone that wants a quick street / track car or a potential trophy winner. Saves you waiting months for everything to be built also... Thanks for the positive comment!

EVERYTHING BUT SHELL AND SUSPENSION / WHEELS IS SOLD! UPDATE - If anyone is interested in the car with a standard motor / gearbox for a lot lower price then let me know. Also can go even lower with a standard interior and wheels. Hey all, To give you a bit of history, i purchased the car about 2 years ago and drove it around for about a year. I then got defected for gauges and tires and things like that and decided to take my car off the road for a complete ground up overhaul. The result of it all was around $70000 spent and a car that is currently in a undriven condition with almost 80% of its parts brand new and replaced. It is currently in the shop at ATS (Allstar Tuning Systems) as the guys there were finishing off all the final stages of the build and preparing it to be back on the road. The sole reason i am selling the car is because i have had an offer of a R34 GTR come across which at this stage it to good to refuse. The specs of the car are as follows - EDIT - Forgot Some Basics - Late 1995 Model with S2 Running gear, approx 105000km's when it was taken off the road for overhaul. Car is registered until next year sometime i can't remember when exactly. Body - Full respray in House of Kolor Planet Green (Imported from US) - Body Kit is 400R, Front bar has been customised. - Body kit has been completely molded to the car not including the front bar, this process is very time consuming and expensive and it looks amazing. - Door handles and antenna both shaved - Guards (Under guards where wheels sit) have been completely polished back and re-coated lightly with black sound deadener (To make it look new) - Under body of car has been cleaned and re-coated lightly with sound deadener (To make it look new) - Carbon Fibre Bonnet - M3 Mirrors (Electric) - Shaved indicators from front guard Engine (To be updated) - RB25/30 Conversion - Block done 20thou, Crack Tested, Acid Dipped and a few more things i cant remember (to be added) - ACL Pistons - Spool Rods - ARP Bolts - Tomei Cam Gear - Ported and Polished Head - Tomei Cams (Intake and Exhaust 256) - Custom Fuel Rail - 680cc Denso Injectors - Bosch 044 Pump - NGK Iridium Plugs - Cosmetic Metal Head Gasket - Oil Cooler and Relocation Kit - Cusco Catch Can Intake Side - Greddy V-SPL Intercooler Kit - Apexi Pod Filter - Greddy Plenum - Q45 AFM - Greddy BOV Exhaust Side - Trust High Mount Manifold - Garret T04Z Turbo - Trust Wastegate - Custom Dump Pipe - 3.5" Exhaust - XTR Turbo Heat Bag Driveline - Rebuild gearbox with Cross Cut PAR Gearset - 1st to 4th Gears - Helical Input Gear - Replaced 3/4 Hub / Sleeves - Energizer Pad Spring - NEO 75/90 Oil (Like over $200 for the oil, and i have enough left over after build for a service) - Exedy Twin Plate Clutch - Rebuilt Diff with Polished Cover - 19" Racing Hart Wheels (Light Weight) Suspension - HSD Systems Coil Overs - EBC Greenstuff Pads - DBA Slotted Rotors - All Arms / Sub Frame etc powder coated in silver - All Bush's and rubbers replaced with polyurethane whiteline items - Camber Kits both sides - Whiteline rear Sway Bar - Cusco front sway bar - Rear Subframe alignment kit - All Bolts electroplated chrome - Driveshaft bolts replaced - HICAS Lock Kit (Tomei electric type) Interior - Full retrim in cream leather and suede by Extreme Trimming - Full set of autometre lunar series gauges (Tacho, Air / Fuel, Nitrous, Fuel Pressure, Boost, Water Temp, Oil Pressure) - All guages have been moulded in around the interior (Literally the whole dash is custom made, the pillars and the centre console) - Apexi AVCR (Possibly Sold) - Trust Turbo Timer - Isotta Steering Wheel - Isotta Gear Knob - Isotta Side Steps - Isotta Hand Brake Knob and leather - Incar2 Racing Cluster (White background that glows green to suit gauges) - Custom Parcel shelf to suit 6 1/2" Splits - Custom Doors with fibreglass pods to suit 6 1/2" Splits Miscellaneous (Brand new parts from Nissan) - Bonnet support rubbers replaced - Inner guard splash guards replaced - Front window seal replaced (The whole plastic piece and the seal that sits around front windscreen wipers, commonly on skylines the seal starts coming apart. Genuine Nissan Part) - Rear Boot rubbers replaced - Gearbox seals replaced - Headlight / Taillight bulbs all replaced - All windows reseated and new seals installed - New drivers electric window mechanism - Wheels bearings / hubs replaced (The complete bearing assemble and unit the wheel bolts onto) At the moment thats all i can think of, i know I've missed quite a few things and I'll add them at a later date. Almost all the parts here are brand new fitted to the car over the last year and literally never seen more use then being rolled off the tow truck into the shop. The paint hasn't even seen the sun for longer then an hour... This is a very painful sale as you can see, i've built this car with everything i've had over the last year and I'm selling it before i even get it back together and drive it. It's being sold in its current condition which is basically complete minus the engine / gearbox and interior being installed at the moment. However if the buyer wishs to do so I'm sure we can come to an arrangement about refitting and that kind of thing. The car is currently at ATS (Allstar Tuning Systems) the guys there performed all the rebuild work, the gearbox was done at TOP COG on the sunshine coast. Receipts are available for well over $50000 of modifications. The guys at ATS will obviously vouch for the quality of all components as its all brand new. I am selling the car as a whole to begin with, if i have no luck i will sell off parts individually. Please be patient with pictures, this has been a fairly sudden decision and as a result i do not have pictures of everything, i will post what i have to give you a good idea and add more later on. Feel free to call or SMS on 0419741040 my name is Ben. I am at work tomorrow and Sunday for most of the day so leave a voice mail message or text and ill reply. Alternatively PM me here for info. I'm looking for around $35000, although i am negotiable so don't hesitate to throw me an offer. I will tell you now though, if you send me a ridiculously low or unrealistic offer your PM will be ignored. These are the more recent pics These are older, just to give you an idea of the bonnet and interior gauges set-up. It is before retrim and everything like that.

Thanks for that mate it was good advice, i will clear that money funding part up though. I was hoping to get a total of about 30 for the R33, and i will be coming up with more then 20k but the other portion is being provided by a business that owes me so its 20k of my own money is what i meant. I do agree completely, i was never going to keep it for years on end it was just a project that i was going to have a lot of fun with. I wish i could get 50k for my 33, that would be the day... -

Thats what i thought, and is why im though selling as parts before it all goes back together would be a lot easier and save a lot of time! -

Its kinda a special price, its the situation as well i guess i'm just not sure after spending the rest of the money to finish it ill be able to recoup that money in order to buy a 34 after. -

Do you think there would be a lot of maintenance costs on a GTR? i thought since they were newer they would be a lot better for a while, and being a very well made car i wouldn't have thought they would have a lot of issues apart from the normal turbos with age and things like that. -

Yeah i know, i would love to do that, though i don't think if i kept the motor that i'd be able to come up with the changeover money quite as easily. I would definitely do some mods to the R34, wouldn't go as crazy as i did this time though. Way more expensive then i ever thought it would be when i started, thats the game though i guess. Im still torn, sense is telling me sell while the parts are new and get as much money back as you can, but the other side is saying drive the thing and have a good time and worry about the other car later lol. -

Yeah i agree i would love to enjoy the ride, the only thing holding me back is the thought of spending another 5k to finish it, and then having to put it back together. On the other hand it would most likely all be well worth it -

The top up will probably be around the 20k mark, i know i havn't used it and the big reason behind the decision now is that if i were to sell the parts from it as brand new gear i think they would be worth a lot more. I would also not have to fork out the last 5k bill for getting it all back together and tuned which would be a plus lol. I want to do exactly what you mentioned in the end there, drive it and mod it as you go, instead of having a car off the road for a year which is what i've had. -

Yeah that probably wasn't what i was meaning to say, just mainly thats its newer, has the 4wd, holds its value a lot better and has heaps of tuning potential obviously -

Just for reference, this is almost identical to the GTR i'm looking at. Colour and quality / condition. This is what my car currently looks like, doesn't have interior or anything finished at the moment - -

Sorry just to clear this up, im not directly swapping. I would be selling mine and paying a bit extra to upgrade to the R34. I wish it was a direct swap lol! I know what you mean though, i have invested a lot of time and money making the car how i want it, the thing that concerns me is that the R34 is a superior car in basically every regard and i don't know if ill regret it a few months down the track if i didn't take the opportunity. -
Hey guys, I have a situation at the moment which i am very torn in, well with my current knowledge and experience i am torn anyway. I have for the last year been building up a R33 GTS-T. Basically as follows - Full House of Kolour Respray and custom bodywork Full leather retrim Full suspension overhaul (coilovers, all joints and bush's, strut braces, castor and cambers gear) RB 25/30 Rebuild (ACL Pistons, Spool Rods, Gasket, Tomei Cams, Greddy Plenum / Cooler / Oil cooler) T04Z Turbo on a Trust Manifold basically to make a comfortable 500 / 550 rwhp Other things like Carbon bonnet and cosmetic mods All of which i have never driven as its about to come out of the shop from the last lot of work. My dilemma is i have fortunately enough been offered the change to a R34 GTR VSpec II. Relatively standard with rims and an exhaust, 2001 model with about 40000 genuine km's. I may be crazy, but i feel torn between what to do and am looking for opinions on wether i should spend the extra money and goto the GTR, or hang onto what i have. I have never driven a GTR let alone an R34 so im not sure just what im missing out on. This post was not meant to be stupid or for bragging or anything like that, i want genuine opinions and feedback from people that have something to say. If you want to say something stupid or make a comment about my age and the cars then please keep it to yourself. Thanks in advance for any advice.
