  5. Thanks guys, I'll pop into my local bridgestone dealership and get them to check it out.
  6. Hi guys, Having problems with my steering wheel shaking at 80kph and anything over 120kph. It's been happening ever since I got my new rims and tyres (235x45R17). I took into a mate of mine, who used to work for Pedders, and now has his own business. He seemed to think it needing a wheel balance. I've had new Whiteline adjustable radius rod bushes installed and a Whiteline rear control arm (upper) adjustable camber kit waiting to go in. It's got a front strut brace fitted & pineapples fitted, otherwise has stock suspension. I've had several different workshops/tyre joints re-balance the rims and everytime they said they're fine. Also had an on-car balance done and it was all good. The only thing I couldn't do was a 4 wheel on-car balance. I've had the Pedders suspension check and spring test done and it came up fine. Will the rear camber kit fix the problem? Anyone with some more suggestions would be much appreciated, as I don't want to keep hurting my baby. Kyran
  7. Thanks Kristov... Exanuv, will check back in a week or so then.
  8. Getting my AFC (gen 1) fitted soon and was wondering if anyone knew of a workshop that's tuned these before?? In Geelong we've got Dalton, but they only specialize in MicroTech and Geelone Tune-Up's who have done SAFC's but never the gen 1 version. He said it would take him about 3hrs for the tune, as he needs to learn about the unit, but I don't want 1st timers working on my baby. Any help would be much appreciated. Kyran.
  9. Can someone who's bought one post up a pic of it installed for me please.
  10. Has anyone got some wiring and installation manuals for apexi afc, series 1? Kyran.
  11. Yep, with the pioneer range, you need to make sure the stacker is in the "P" range, if you know what I mean... just make sure the stacker has a P in it

    Dials

Does anyone know where to buy the dials as in pic attached? I'm not a fan of the red and blue type...
  13. I'd have to say IBM. Have worked on HP, Dell, Compaq and Toshiba for the past 7 years, but IBM are the shizzne! Haven't had any problems with the T41's or X31's, whereas we'd always have service calls in for Toshiba and Dell lappies. Model you're after would be a T41 Thinkpad. You can't beat IBM for service either!
  14. TNT... I had a full set of rims sent down from sydney for only $70!
  15. I've got a set of sumi's and they're not real flash in the wet... but I haven't used falkens, so I don't know what they're like... I drove a mates GTR recently, and he had a set of the silica tread Hankook Ventus K104's on and they were excellent, probably the best value for money around but not the best. With anything these days, you pay for what you get. Happy hunting...
  16. What a ****in crock of shit!!!! I'd tell em to get ****ed! How many ****in truckies leave their trucks running while their poppin pills in the dunny at a servo???
  17. For those who are interested in buying Amsoil oil filters, I spoke with Bruce and for Melbourne area people you can go to; Lubrication Management Systems 127B Lonsdale St Dandenong (ask for Bill Reid, top bloke) Now, as for me, Geelong has an Amsoil distributor; Zoom Master 31 Barwon Tce Geelong (ask for Kevin) There are 2 main oil filters for the RB25DET, SDF15 & SDF34. The SDF34 is the recommended one, but the SDF15 will fit and is almost an inch larger, has the exact same filtration properties (10-15 microns), 7-9psi pressure dif valve, retention valve, etc. I'm going to head down next week to Zoom Master and just make sure the SDF15 fits. PS. For those maybe wanting to do a group buy, Bill said he'd do a good price, I just can't be farked! ... Kyran
