  1. Supra, any chance on gettin a 2nd hand HKS ssq bov and adapter kit for r33 gtst?
  2. Has anyone replaced their rear spoiler on a sII gtst? (this is the low-style straight one with no brake light). Are these moulded onto the bootlid or can they be easily removed? I'm wanting to fit an R34 wing.

  10. what type of front bar is that?
  11. Go the SSS dude, they're good on fuel, easy to drive and best of all they stick to the ground really well! Just make sure if you get one, get the N14, all the rest suck. Go a 94 mod if you can get one for 8k, doubt it though. You can do it up a bit too, and, if you're like a mate of mine, drop a SSS turbo bluebird motor into later on... Depends what your after, but I think that the SSS is a sweet ride for a first car, the only drawback is it's FWD (no burnouts) and gets a bit crowded with 3 in the back. (only my opinion though)
  12. Just wanting to know if when you're removing the Pioneer Carrozerria nav system, do you need to rip out all the carpet? I've taken all the system out of the boot and pulled the cords through to the back seat and disconnected the box. There are obviously cords running through to the head unit, but I need to know if these are just pulled through once head unit is taken out, or if I need to take the console out and what not.
  13. I'd imagine no more than $10
  14. Hey guys, I just called Robin and finally found an insurance company that'd insure me. Reason why others haven't is because I'm too young (U/25) and been done DUI .013 on p-plates (the day after - how lucky!!!). Been quoted for under $2800 with 20% NCB. Note that we aren't getting a 10% discount, they charge 10% extra for if you take out pay-by-the-month, they're just knocking it off for us Skyline freaks:) It all sounds good, but I need insurance 24x7, as I drive in the country a fair bit. Good for people who don't leave home though:) Cheers.
  15. Hey guys, had a crack at this on the weekend and hit a snag. I actually made 3 cut-outs of the original speaker spacer using 19mm mdf - i figured if you use 19mm then put your speaker on top, this will still fit under the standard speaker covers. I then got in the boot and traced out the size of the parcel tray hole in which the magnet will go through. Cut out the hole in my speaker spacer, and thought cool, I'll just mount the speaker in, screw it into the parcel tray and there you go. Unfortunately the 6x9's body didn't quite fit in the spacer, so I couldn't fit these onto the spacer (magnet fitted, body didn't). I dunno if this is due to my 6x9's being an odd shaped, might checkout some other brands. Anyone know if I'm doing this correctly??? Anyone suggest a quality set of 6x9's that don't have a wide body, but more or less come in on a constant angle?
  16. Need some help, check your PM's JT.

  18. I'm fitting the DIY boost controller from Norgren Phneumatics this weekend, costed $117 all up. I'll let you know if that might be a reliable, cheap option... I think Sydneykid is the man to talk to about this... Cheers.
  19. How do you know for sure if you odometer has been wound back? Would a licenced garage be able to tell you just by looking at your car? I'm pretty suss on my suspension being stuffed with bugger-all kms on the clock....
  20. Put mine on today.... look sweet.... thanks Jeff!
  21. Cheers Jim, picked the car up this morning... Need to get wheel stud fixed and book it in for a look over. The car was in the best shape there and very clean - engine & body - that's why I chose it. I too am a bit suss on them winding back the clock, but no smoke, everything else seems to be fine. I didn't think you could repair a buckled rim... Aren't alloys supposed to crack rather than buckle???
