Hey guys, was driving my 33gtst tonight, lit the tyres up a little bit and then drove home. whilst stopped at lights and such i could smell a strange moist burning kind of smell, and a little bit of smoke was coming from under my hood. pulled over and the smell seemd to be coming from rear of engine moth side, any ideas? sorry that im asking about a smell that none of you can smell but i was a bit worried. cheers, Gezza

hey guys im still on my L's for another 4 months and have had an r33gts for 12months, been pulled over once for suspition of street racing but as soon as they saw my mum they were all cool lol. im gonna get dicked driving wit red Ps ey! Gezza

damn i guess il have to be patient . is a fuel pump neccesary for 200atw or should it be fine running 3.5" exhaust, fmic, manual boost controller and of course the remapped ecu. p.s i havnt stopped hearing good things about you sam, cant wait to be a paying customer. cheers Gezza

yeah already got some, they sit nicely with the body but still would like it to look a bit meaner lol. how many mm do you think is too much? cause im looking at getting flared front fenders, only 30mm wider. sorry about changing topic a bit btw. cheers Gez

hey guys had mine machined and new pads put on them a while ago and they use to scare grown men when i put on the brakes, unless i slammed em on. after bout 900km it stopped, seemed to be the same time i got my rims. was also told that it was cause they were hard compound pads. peace

definatley agree with this, but when i got mine fitted i told the guys that i wanted them to sit out from the body just slightly and they would set it up for me. also wouldnt stretch tyres over. i wanted it to look very similar to the white 33 with the flared gaurds earlier in the topic but was told they wouldnt do it! who will do it, and cant spacers bring your rims out more? peace Gez

got the same problem, i thought it might b cause i havent got a aircon in mine anymore so was going to see about getting it blocked up by my mechanic but will definatley turn it up and down first to try close the vent. if you still got the aircon then my first guess was wrong lol, if so let me know thanks. peace

could you please post some pics of the finished product? i want a wider stance but dont really wanna get new rear panels, i love the look of the rolled guards but rarely see r33 with em. thanks in advance

yeah my old ones that are soon to be replaced have some silicon like stuff around them, my mechanic thinks it was used to prevent the problem but now just not working, ill keep you all posted when i get my coils in, may still b 2/3 weeks though unfortuantley cash flow has gone.

im currently having similar problems with mine, especially after boosting it to 9psi. under hard acceleration it seems to be reluctant to go most of the time and will then stutter. i was told it is most definatley my coils, and have also been recommended splitfires. my mechanic said it was because my rea coil was shorting, every now and then when the hood is up you can hear a spark sort of sound which is the short. hope you figure it out, will have my coils in a few weeks hopfully that does the trick. peace

thanks for the offer mate, but ill just leave it to what the guy doing the custom decides with. with the 90db, were do they take the reading from and at wat rpm? i am looking into the exhaust valve that alows you to select wether it opens half or full depending on wat your doing/how loud u want it, it sounds like a good idea to me . Gezza

o that reminds me if i put a big turbo such as the gt30r would it not run properly if i kept it at like 10psi for street use? thanks heaps
