How Do You Guys Keep The Fog Away?
chubs replied to charlieR34's topic in General Automotive Discussion
dude put the heater on the front window demister. as in airvents at bottom of window. works everytime i thought this is how most people solved this problem? -
yeah was a good night think i enjoyed it more that broadie dunno just no real asshole mentalaty that i noticed. um i will say this though park away from the wall at the back. a car driving down the road decided to throw a glass bottle out the window and landed not far from us. but other than that one incident yeah defs a good night
-
yer i got the same pod and exhaust i can get lil over 500kms if i push it. thats with a mix of granny an spirited driving.
-
hey would definately be interested. been a while since i been to a meet up/cruise so count me in. im on southside of bris so if anybody wants to meet up and head in gimme a shout.
-
Saw Black 33 (sic33) northbound on motorway i was in the white 33 next to you i turned off at southbank monday night.
-
yeah but where. im sure there must be a new meet up spot somewhere
-
you could always try wello or viky point. its more out of the way than broadwater as far as been in the public eye i guess. not a bad spot just a though though. but yeah i got no idea where people are goin on sat nights at the moment would be good to find out though as im bored as hell and cant think what to do tonight. would rather cruise in my car than get shitfaced. altho..........

heres what i dont get tho i see more people actually hooning in stocko shitboxes than i do in modded rides these days. i mean come on the burnouts are usually bogan commos. but what i dont get is u dont need a modified ride to go fast or hoon. u mod the car u get more power more torque yeah but that just makes u accelerate faster. ( yeah maybe not technically correct) but show me 1 car limited to what the national speed limit is. i used to own an old n13 pulsar with nothing but a cat back exhaust and i could wind that lil 1.6 ltr off the clock. it may have taken a while to get up there but it did. (on tracks not streets). so if all cars are capapble why target modified car owners. and one last thing whats worse doing like 150 in a car modified to do so safely? or this crap of big fat trucks that say limited to 100 doing the same. coz if i had a dollar for every truck i saw with that sticker prove it wrong i would have a 35 gtr in my garage already.

yeah thanx for comin guys was good night just a pity not everybody was up to go to nebo. And me personally will have to say big thanx to cya34 for at least coming out to the first meet. hope u can make the cruise next time mate and that car looks and sounds like an absoloute weapon. the front end would have to be the hottest ive seen yet.

hey mate my cousin in the states has a 33 track only car. had somebody do the same thing bout 2am in the morning. and he loves being american cos u get guns along with ur green card apparently lol. anyways bout 5 -6 peeps in the back yard scopin it out so whats he do grabs his 30-30 and aims straight for the middle of them. unfortunately he missed them. sad thing the 33 now has a bullet in its left ribcage.
-
Lol yeah there is dave. Its called your left foot. Although its usually your right foot that causes you drama. Will give you a call prob bout 1 or 2 in the arvo should be awake by then. God dam 12 hour nights.
-
Yeah mate you got the right place. If you turn in at maccas then go to round about turn right and up the ramp to the very top. Departure time from there would be approx 2000 to 2015 as if people are just goin to join with the rest of us at cootha will be there roughly on designated time. yeah dave that gearbox is hella loud. I reckon with the cash you save with us installin the replacement you buy a new clutch.
-
Ok guys times and date are set. Had hoped to see some posts as to people going to attend but hope to see you all there. Should be a fun night. cheers for the advice col. Hope if turn out is good i can organise these for every fortnight.

Ok guys first post and topic edited. Let us know if you up for it. Cheers.

exactly how much noise is it making?? have a mate who is in dire need of new box.
-
ok cheers mate will think of what and where and get it up here soon
-
ok well i checked out my original thought for meeting place poorly lit unfortunately. soo 730pm meet at sunnybank plaza rooftop carpark above cinemas. any cars welcome feel free to spread to other forums. from there will do a meet and greet. then cruise out along ipswich motorway to centenary highway out to mount cootha. do a slow cruise up the back of the mountain and come down and re-meet or others can meet up at the gravel patch. should be there approx 830-845. from there if more cruising is wanted we will work something out thats more common area for all involved or feel free to bail after this point. i know i may possibly end up doing my usual wit you dave and headin up that mad view from nebo. Also guys feel free to bring the missus. as (A) its a social thing and (B) you wont get castrated for ditching them for cars lol hope to see you all there. cheers callum P.s if anybody has any other ideas/ suggestions for meeting place send me a pm by monday approx 12 noon whatever is posted in this first post by monday 8pm is the final rundown

to think i always thought peeps back home in the uk had shit styling ideas no matter the car. Dude i must say big props man that thing is sexual. one sweet ride.
-
sorry man i must have missed ya didnt see a single line anywhere did a whole lap of the place as im new here and have no idea where there u would usually meet. i sat at cootha till 10 also and nobody showed there. was dissapointed for my first time out. was good drivin around tho
-
yer indeed im def up for this which is the 1st meeting point
-
depending on where u are you could always pay me $100 a night to stand watch over it if i not at work. (liscenced security guard) lol
-
lol wish i could have went was stuck at work. which sadly is doin security at the southbank tafe directly opposite lol. decided to be nice and let a group out on a hens night use our carpark to go there instead of gettin parking tickets and i swear i almost got gang raped when they came back to get the car lol. hope i was better than previous years last time i went i wasnt impressed
-
hey this kinda happened to a mate of mine altho he bought his here not import it himself. this was roughly 3 years ago. car was daily driven and saw many cruises and such. When selling it his gf's mother who used to actually race cars (and is strange cos we get alot of protocol and paper work advice from her lol) anyway she traced the paper work right back to compliance here and when it left japan. now the kms dropped that dramatically between japan and here that even with 3 years of driving the car still had not hit the kms it was reading before leaving japan. its a common thing with any import i guess.

meh only decent lookin 34 in my opinion is a gtr. dunno just aint seen any other kit or nethin i like other than that. but as i said its just me.
-
cool champ thats def the way to go about it. another thing i would recommend is invest in some track time really will let u learn the limit of the car( or yourself whichever comes first). been in a few 34s as well personally i would get a 33 man. i reckon they the most balanced out in aspect of size power styling. but thats just my preference. good luck with it all.
