Hey guys I have a 97 R33 gtst with a slight spitting issue. Not sure what rpm exactly it generally starts doing it at either as tacho not working atm. Last time it was doing this I went out and bought a can of MAF cleaner and this seemed to remove the issue however it has returned and I cleaned the AFM again today but no effect. Im sure some will say coilpacks but when it happens its not always at the same rev range, and is not constant ie i can floor it and it will go ......put put then hammer on fine. Should i just get a new afm or would it possibly be my 02 sensor? Car has the following mods FMIC Turbosmart Boost T (set to 10psi) K&N Pod Jasma cat back exhaust (also is due its 100k service just waiting on cheque to arrive so hopefully can have her running perfect again soon)

well u have more mods than me so thats possible as no i do not feel the power keep increasing. also it will shorten your engine life. So i would suggest maybe open her up and build an engine for reving out if thats what you want.

I know the factory limiter is around 7,200rpm i think you will find power will likely drop after this anyways. But is there really a reason to rev it that high in the first place? My 33 with front mount, cat back, pod, 10psi best shift point is bout 6k. And yes bosch pump is the way to go

Hey guys ive had my 33 for bout 3 years now and finally decided to query on this. On my center console next to the cup holder i have a switch wich says "light reduce". I have tried using it and nothing happens so no idea what it is linked to. I do know there are wires running from it but to what i have no idea. Has anybody else got one of these? were they a factory option? Car is a 97 series 2 GTST. cheers guys
