i got my car back today with a freshly painted black bonnet, i also pulled the spoiler off and fitted a blitz bov. The car looks amazing now. It looks so much lower and fatter without the series 2 spoiler on i love it. Oh thanks strutto for the bottle cap mod with the bov it worked a treat hehe. I didnt have any drama's fitting it which i was suprised becuase im usually quite useless

i dont think it would be hard to crack 200rwkw on the stock turbo. I got 181rwkw atm with the mods in my sig on 10psi, and i reckon with a exh cam gear and 12-13psi and a bit of tuning would get me 200rwkw. The turbo is fine at the moment i dont see how an extra 20kw would kill it. But i do agree that it will reach its "safe" limits then and i will look into highflowing.

strutto they arnt chrome mags are they? they looked more polished to me then chrome. painted calipers will look rank on my wheels as the spokes split in 2 and you can see between them. My car is coming together really well now i just need to focus on the little things to give it that extra nice touch!

yeh i had a bit of trouble putting the little ones on its hard to line it up against the red background bit, this set i got today is my second set. First set got water damaged and was farked so i hope these turn out good. Yeh i also noticed they both are identical and will be opposite ways on the side of the car but it doesnt bother me. Did u put urs in that little 1/4 panel glass? i reckon they look the best there. I also got the big one up the top of the rear window

good luck with the waiting game! keep yourself busy so u dont have to think about how much you miss your line i still dont know what colour to do the calipers, i think ill decide on the day and wait to see how someone elses one looks in person

ummm last time i looked r33 gtst boxes were like a 1k or bit more? plus fitting and everything will add up to 1.5k There is also the problem of buying second hand boxes knowing if they are stuffed or not too.......i bought a used box once and one of the syncho's was ****ed as well as the bearing was leaking oil onto the clutch and rooted that too. I know you have been looking for ages blx, but surely theres quite a few r33's getting around now. I would advise you not to get this car as other people said in the other post, a stuffed gearbox usually means its been thrashed and who knows how well the engine has been looked after? i mean they are strong engines but not bulletproof. Get another one unless you can negotiate the price really good. I know how hard it is waiting, but make sure you get it right the first time, you dont want a car with problems niggling at you everytime you drive it.

man i just got home from work, the roads near my work are flooding!! you know the hope island road smoothline? they really ****ed that road up as it has no drainage, but this old 4wd subie im driving atm cant even break traction in the rain lol. Work was so boring i was just eating my stock all night and listening to mp3s heh.

The build quality of these cars are far superior to the shit aussie cars of the same era. Keep it maintained well and it will last forever, very strong engines.

They are great little cars, they are suprisingly quick and respond well to basic mods but defienately get a manual one now as i have been down that path before and it was nothing but trouble converting to manual.
