  1. I shipped the V-spec over to the new buyer through TNT. Think the cost was a little less because the trailers come over full, and go back empty so they drop the price (think he paid $450 cash to send back east). One thing to be aware of is the type of transport is goes on/in. There open and closed car carriers and would suggest staying away from sending it via rail. If sending by road, a fully enclosed carrier (carton) such as those used by TNT would be the go, less dust and dirt. Cheers Brendan
  2. Hey Gav How about something a little Italian? Maybe a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II? http://www.supercars.net/cars/1993@$Lancia...ione%20IIg.html Or maybe stay Jap and see if you can pick up an R33 Autech 4-door from Prospec Motorsport Co. in the UK (http://www.prospec-ms.co.uk/) Or even a Nismo built R34 GT-R V-spec Nur: http://www.gtr.co.uk/html/shownews.asp?ID=.../forsale_281203 The Audi A8 sounds nice though, or maybe one of the high powered BMW (Alpina, Brabus) or Audi (RS) Estate wagons. Or what about a little Lotus Esprit Turbo (or Lotus Turbo Esprit?). There's also the Lotus Carlton - they're a bloody weapon, and although they didn't get released in RHD (as far as I'm aware), one of the Williams Renaults wouldn't be bad. An older car might be a Fiat Dino V6 (same engine as the Dino 246 but with an iron block). 1989 Lotus Carlton: http://www.supercars.net/cars/1989@$Lotus@...ton+Omegag.html 1995 Lotus Esprit S4s: http://www.supercars.net/cars/1995@$Lotus@...rit%20S4sg.html 1995 Audi RS2 Avant: http://www.supercars.net/cars/1995@$Audi@$...2%20Avantg.html 2001 Sportec RS4 Biturbo Level 2 (outta reach but till awesome): http://www.supercars.net/cars/2001@$Sporte...Level%202g.html 2001 Renault Cli Sport V6: http://www.supercars.net/cars/2001@$Renaul...Sprt%20V6g.html Cheers Brendan
  3. Can anyone else help me on this one?
  4. Or away from his computer, which is why a contact telephone number might want to be inserted into the original posting.
  5. junkie13 3rd post advises he's located in Melbourne.
  6. Hehehehe, nice. Basic questions that can point towards a bargain or a lemon that'll cost the new owner an additional $10K to fix it up. Really, they're not that difficult to answer and questions that may reduce the amount of time you may take answering them to others asking the same questions over and over. In the end it's your call really. Again good luck.
  7. A few things that people may want to know would be: - Has the car had any major accidents that you can tell? (minor panel damage wouldn't matter at this price) - In the first ad you quote R34 GT-R wheels, then say selling without wheels, which bit is correct? If not, then what wheels and condition of tyres? - When was the last service? - Any exhaust mods? - What colour? - Did you do mods or were they made in J-land? - Has it been tuned with current mods? Answers to these as well as posting pics (PM me if you're having probs with that), may expedite the sale and help increase genuine offers as a possibility. Cheers and good luck with the sale. Cheers Brendan
  8. 17" Buddy Club P1 Racing are around the $2-2.2K mark with tyres. I bought my rims for $2K second hand, but they were yet to be used so they were effectively new. I think a new set could be around the $1800 mark for 17x8's (f) and 17x9's ® as per C-Red's parts page: http://www.c-red.com.au/parts/index.shtml I think P1 Racing II's will be another $3-400 more expensive. Colours available are Titanium Silver, White and Hypergold, but you could get them resprayed whatever colour you wanted I suppose and get Jeff at C-Red to get you another Buddy Club sticker for the rim. Now, back to my question.
  9. Looking at the possibility of upgrading my current 17x9 Buddy Club P1 Racing to some 18x10 Buddy Club P1 QF's. Now they're currently fitted to an R33 GT-R and look absolutely brilliant in Gun Metal Grey. Have been told that these rims have an offset around the +12 mark I think - they're extremely dishy. The +12 offset is an off the shelf spec for this particular rim. Has anyone put 18x10's on to an R32 before and know what offset was required to have them fit? Note that I have a normal suspension setup (sorta - rebuilt std shocks and whiteline lowered springs). The current 17x9's are at a great height, almost perfect distance around the whole guard rim. Have attached a couple of pics too and the URL below: http://www.first-inc.co.jp/buddyclub/p1rqf...qf/p1rqf_f.html Note, this is just a possibility at this point in time.
  10. On the amount already paid for shipping, you can get slugged for import duty (from 11-15% if I recall correctly depending on the type of goods). On top of that you'll then be slugged GST on the original amount with shipping plus the import duty (tax on a tax). Might not be $500, but then I'm not sure how much Ken's got coming in. I got some HKS dump pipes for my 'R from Greenline, paid just over $700 I think including shipping, unfortunately the shipping bill said the value was $0.00 which of course on a brand new HKS box made them suspicious. So being the honest person I am, I took down the correct invoice and got charged about $190 extra in import duty and GST. In either case, it bites big time.
  11. I like it because they're red - like mine : ) Bit of a biased POV really, but you get that.
  12. Found on the Unique Autosports Website, it's a quartet of wine red R32 GT-R's with wedding ribbons ready to go. See attached files.
  13. Don't want to say exactly (that's between me and the buyer), but it went for mid to high 11's. Cheers Brendan
  14. In the meantime: http://www.upimports.com.au/UPI_Parts/induction.php
  15. Ladies and Gents Will be upgrading the fuel pump in the GT-R, so will have a GT-R fuel pump from a 1992 BNR32 GT-R for sale. It's still in good working condition and has supported just over 300rwhp on this car in the past. Would like a buyer for it before taking out. Looking for offers around the $230 mark. Preference for local buyer. PM or you can call me on 0412 141 201. Great upgrade for an S13 Silvia/180SX because their standard fuel pumps were marginal at best. Cheers Brendan
  16. SOLD! Close it up Mr Mod.
  17. Year was in subject line dude. 1991 model anyway. All good.
  18. Yeah, very funny. Just don't forget I've always got the password to your site and plenty of interesting things to upload.
  19. I'm selling my much beloved Black Silvia K's as the wife wants to purchase a 4x4 instead. It's pretty clean with some choice mods to make her reliable: - 17"x7x8 Kosei Seneka Sport rims (215 front, 235 rear tyres) - Front OBX Torina Seats (Black - figure hugging) - Blitz Boost Guage - Turbotechnics TMS-2 Electronic Boost Controller - C-Red Cat Back Exhaust - Turbo Split Dump & 3" Front Pipe - R32 GT-R Fuel Pump (to be fitted) - K&N Air Filter - RG 3-puck 2200lb Clutch - Odyssey 650 Battery (ready for FMIC) - R32 GT-R front calipers and rotors with RG pads - Tein Lowered Springs - Unknown brand of Aftermarket Shocks - Front control arm bushes replaced with Whiteline items. - Electric Factory Sunroof - Child Restraints - Window tinted - Aircon works well, has full alarm/immobiliser and keypad - Has factory front splits (replaced front mid drivers) & rear spkrs, but head unit & stacker have been removed as they were no longer working (I prefer the serenity of the exhaust myself) - Interior in good condition (no rips, tears or ciggy burns that I've found) - Recent wheel alignment Pictures taken this morning (fairly large for detail): http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02153.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02154.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02155.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02156.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02157.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02158.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02159.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02160.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02161.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02162.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02163.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02164.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/black-silvia...ia/DSC02165.jpg It's been regularly serviced by C-Red since I got it (I'm the 1st Aussie owner) and it's done about 83,000kms from memory. Has put down 189rwhp on the SST dyno (in current form). There's a couple of shopping trolley dings as has most cars these days, and the front bar has a couple of blemishs. Car has been a dream since day dot with no significant problems. Reliable daily driver. Chasing around the $12.5K mark (genuine offers will be looked at of course) and car is located in Perth will ship east only if buyer makes all associated arrangements. If you're interested at all, PM me or call on 0412 141 201. Cheers Brendan
  20. Hi Kristian Wonder if you can give me a run down on it's condition now. Photos aren't quite big enough. Or is it best to wait for it to land? BTW, what's the ETA and what sort of $$$ to have shipped to Perth? Thanks Brendan
  21. Kris Can you give any details about the condition of said cooler? Any major dings, what R series GT-R was it fitted to? Has it been flushed (ie. much oil vapour inside)? Cheers Brendan
  22. I think I could help you out there. Send a PM with details and we'll see what can be arranged. Cheers Brendan
  23. Thanks dude. In the end I went down to Autronic and picked up a couple of replacements. Found one almost identical. Shame I now need to look into why the tweeters aren't working - they're prolly stoofed too. Cheers Brendan
