Hey Adam You don't happen to sell replacement speakers do you? Just ripped some old Advent outdoor speakers off the wall, and opened them up. The mid-bass driver is completely had it - would you stock an equivalent replacement/s? Cheers Brendan

fane That's pure gold. Thanks Brendan

Dude, I feel your pain. When the big ends went in the 'R, the crank was found to be bent - enough for it to be tossed (literally). Managed to get one off of Anthony Scali for $450. Sounds like I was lucky.
-
Hmmm, not a bad idea. Nothing wrong with a bit of support from the local import scene, especially if they allow for running of driving training and track days there once completed.

You could be right there Denver, but then again, he/they may just want to have this venture actually go ahead, rather than being one to just give up the first time he/they gets knocked back. Not saying I know this group from a bar o' soap, but I'm quietly sitting here hoping that he/they do get full approval to do what they originally set out to do. Cheers Brendan

Boosted, you looking for new or used turbs? You could also try contacting Mark from Banzai to see what he's got: http://www.banzaimotorsports.com.au/top.htm If you're after new and you have the cash, and set of the new GT-RS Turbo's would be the sh!t.

Hey Alex, sorry to burst the GT bubble, but it's actually Formula Nippon, not what I think you're getting at which is JGTC. As for news, the site for the organisation is: http://www.pimm.org/ They've got a proposed site map with a bit of news as well. This group has been trying for so long to get something off the ground. And although some have said that it's never likely, there's many more quietly hoping. Would beat having to drive all the way to Collie for track days if you want to enjoy the rockin nightlight that Bunners has to offer ; ) It also says the track will be designed to FIA specs to cater for racing/testing of Formula 1 cars and MotoGP bikes. I think Formula Nippon is similar to F3000. Cheers Brendan

simplelogik how much you want just for the 235x45x17's. Need some replacements for the rear on my Silvia. Cheers Brendan

Just got 512/128 through Westnet and ticked the optional Static IP box to run some services from home. Not bad for $79/mth. Good service too to help me get connected through the Billion modem I got.

Insurance for my GT-R at the moment comes in at about $880 but could be wrong. For my previous R32 GT-R V-spec, it was insured for about $46,000 and insurance was ~$1,700/yr. My current R32 GT-R is only insured for $26,000.

Real GT-R will have the wider front and rear guards, will have full attessa 4wd system and of course the engine will be an RB26DETT. As for differences between V-spec and non V-spec - on an R33, you'll find a finned diff cover on the V-spec and smooth dome diff cover on the standard edition. For 50K you should be able to find yourself a fairly good condition GT-R. Buy as late model as you can afford too. And make sure you've got insurance lined up before hand too cause if using bank for funds, they'll need to know it's covered. For insurance, you could try the main ones, but wouldn't waste your time. Call Famous Insurance or Silvalake (they're both brokers). Both do imports and I currently have both the GT-R and Silvia insured through Silvalake. Cheers Brendan

stooj I have some background info on the 32 model if you want to take a look. It's on my web site: http://www.ipixel.com.au/vspec32

Hehehehe, no probs. Need something with at least 50% so that I don't waste the $20 fitting. Hey Paul, what say you - got anything that fits the bill. Cheers Brendan
-
Need some used tyres to tie me over until funds available for new ones. Please let me know if you have any available or know someone who does. Don't want to do the call around to tyre shops as last time I was advised that they're a hard find at the size I want: 225/45 17 or 235/45 17 Anywhere around 50% tread left would be great. Email or PM me. Cheers Brendan

Hey, I was resigned to that possibility.

Hehehehe. Yeah, they were my front pipes. They were slightly busted when I got them but lucky that they only needed a slight bit of welding to fix. All fitted and working fine. Wasn't a bad deal, just took 6wks to get to me. HKS tuned length front pipes for $270 delivered.

Check out the Modena Two's on the wheels (see under special) page: http://www.c-red.com.au/parts/index.shtml Otherwise ask Jash how much a set of 17x9 P1's would be for a GT-R. We have a set on our R32 and they look tops. Cheers Brendan

Think that might be Rod Ash, Jeff Ash of C-Red's older brother or something.

Have purchased a second hand HKS Oil Cooler Kit for my R32 GT-R (BNR32), but of course it's missing instructions and the all important brackets. Does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions or know where I might find them that can be copied and faxed/emailed to me. Any help at all. Cheers Brendan

Have just done a major upgrade on my GT-R and as such, have some parts left over. They are as follows: 2 x R32 GT-R AFM's - $235 each 2 x Stock Turbo Dump pipes - $25 each 1 x Stock Front pipes (dump to cat) - $50 Have already sold injectors. All parts are in good working order as the car made 302rwhp before the big ends gave up the ghost (hard life in J-land and 100Kkms doesn't help out). Open to offers. All items located in Perth, Western Australia. Prices do not include shipping and payment is via direct debit (although I can do COD if required - but the length of time and higher postage costs are a pain). You can contact me via PM or email [email protected] Cheers Brendan

For Sale : 1993 R32 Tommy Kaira Gtst
VSPEC32 replied to Mr Rb20's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Japanese Tuning company. They take cars, such as the Skyline R32 GTSt, make modifications and sell under their name. They have also made a couple of 'specials'. See GT3 on the PlayStation 2 platform and you'll probably find some information. Also, you can check out their web site: http://www.tommykaira.com/ Cheers Brendan -
GT-R Logo on Shirts (embroided) - anyone interested?
VSPEC32 replied to VSPEC32's topic in Western Australia
Well, I finally had these done last week. They came out an absolute treat too. Unlike the shirts from Northside, they're using the "correct" GT-R logo (hehe, just stirring) taken from a Nissan brochure (PDF). Total cost to have each shirt done was about $7.15. Cost $50 cash to have 7 shirts embroidered. Cheers Brendan -
Heaps performance parts for GTR FS
VSPEC32 replied to BAILEY's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Joe What are the dimensions of the intercooler? Also be interested in how well it fits and if it can use the standard intercooler piping. What model is it too? Cheers Brendan -
Brett, Correct, there's usually a sight level on most purpose built catch cans. BTW, picked up one at Works Auto on the weekend for $110. Unfortunately the inlets/outlets are way too small. I need to get some 15ø ones from somewhere. Also require a third one to be fitted up so it can return to the pre-turbo inlet. Hmm, me thinks that paying $199 from Taka for a kit with fittings, mounts and hoses may be the smarter thing to do. Cheers Brendan
