  1. Completely up to your Rob, I'll be going ahead with it anyway, so if you've already got a white or light coloured shirt, you're more than welcome to put in. I'll prolly also get a long and short sleeve shirt done. Cheers Brendan
  2. Hey Gav, nice avatar dude. Who did that for you ; ) Yeah, drop them around.
  3. Oh, BTW. It will be the onus of you to provide the shirt that it's embroided on. This is not included in the costs mentioned above - but I'm sure you all understood that anyway.
  4. Hehehe. Yeah maybe, but have you ever done a track event in Spring/Summer where you have to where a long sleeve black shirt. Absolute murder. You get stinking hot real quick especially with the windows up (otherwise dust gets in when you come off the track ; ). Leilani's selected a nice white long sleeve number just incase she does end up doing some form of track event/driver training. Cheers Brendan
  5. Am organising to do up a shirt for my wife when she finally gets the 'R back. Now she's gone and picked out her shirt, and I have the artwork (vector) for the logo. Costs are mainly in the setup fee at $27.50 plus the $6.60 per embroided badge/logo. The more people I get, the more the setup price can be divided. Now is there anyone else interested in this. The logo will be as per attached so better off if people have a white background. Will be doing this in the next couple of weeks. Cheers Brendan
  6. Doh! Was looking in the Sard section. Will check Cusco now for it.
  7. I must be looking in the wrong place for these listings - any chance you can put the URL up here somewhere. Cheers Brendan
  8. Do you know if they had an R32 GT-R version? If so, I'll prolly get that instead. As long as it comes with all the pipes and clamps etc. Cheers Brendan
  9. Cool. I've managed to find a similar one at Cypher for $140 (without all the pipes etc) so I'll go pick that up on Saturday morning. Hopefully it'll work just as well. http://www.cypherindustries.com.au/catalog...ather_tanks.jpg Cheers Brendan
  10. Rob, looks very similar to the Sard design of can too. Is that what it is? Cheers Brendan
  11. Need one of these fairly quickly, and would prefer a prefab kit - either new or used. Please PM if you've got something. Cheers Brendan
  12. There isn't a lot of information around on the GT-R SplitFire coilpacks. They're assumed to be a fairly rare item. They are however a plug-and-pray item. Saw a set installed into Jeff's S15 in about 10mins. Cheers Brendan
  13. Gav, another thought on cooling the coil packs that I've seen done on an RB25 is to keep the centre cover on, but cut some vent holes in them and stick some painted wire mesh to the underside. The one I saw looked very slick an almost factory. Pretty sure is was on a Silvia featured in one of the recent HPI magazines (with a red R34 GT-R on the front). Will see if I can dig it out and scan in. Cheers Brendan
  14. Hehehehe. Did you hear about my new braking solution? Can you say Killer B's! : )
  15. Hmmm, interesting thoughts. I suppose the other thing to look at would be where is the heat being generated from to make the plenum warm in the first place. Most I suggest, would come from the block, but certainly some woiuld come from the ambient hot air coming from the turbo side of things? I supppose the coating of the plenum would certainly help. Approximate cost would prolly be in the vicinity of say $60-90 (guestimate). Cheers Brendan
  16. Nizmo, call me Brendan. Tyres are Uniroyal RTT2's with about 70% tread left. He's looking for <$100 per tyre. Have let him (Kev - drives an S14 200SX) know you're looking for some and to PM you about it. Picture here: http://www.expopneu.pt/pneus/uniroyal/rtt-2.jpg Cheers Brendan
  17. Used tyres for my need are as an interim measure as most fundage is going towards rebuilding the 'R. When the $50 tyres are finished with, it could be time for the fronts to be replaced and then I'll look at something that will be a little more circuit friendly. Cheers Brendan
  18. Just thought I'd post up for future honkeys looking for the info. Dunno what it looks like yet, think it only went off on Friday with a bunch of other stuff from C-Red. Turn around time is a minimum of 3 days and the very hi temp stuff (think it's branded their 'Platinum Coating') is being used on the stuff I mentioned - so only a black satin finish is available. Cheers Brendan
  19. Managed to track down a couple - only 50% tread, but you get that for only $50. Bridgestone Potenza RE040's too. Hey Nismo, what sizes are you after, I know someone who will be offloading a full set of 235/45 17's in the next couple of weeks. Let me know if that's the size you're after. Cheers Brendan
  20. This is the contact for the Ceramic Coating place in Wandi. Have just sent off manifolds and turbine housings and will be sending off dump and front pipes very soon. Lyndon Competition Coatings telephone: 0500 8999 88 address: 3/29 Blackboy Grove Wandi WA 6167 Australia Cheers Brendan
  21. On the hunt for some used tyres. Still need to be in fairly good nic. Current ones need replacing after losing traction in 1st, 2nd and 3rd (rolling) on the Silvia. Prefer 70% tread-life left or more in 235/17/45s. Cheers Brendan
  22. Jeez, you ask the hard hitting questions Steve. Well, being a family man, that takes a considerable amount of time out of leisure time, but it's mostly fun. Other than that, have just started at the gym 4-5 nights/week. That keeps me out of trouble. Get into computers a bit (part of work) but like as a hobby too. Oh, and I recently revived an old hobby of painting and building plastic models - did a model of an S14 Q's. Turned out a treat althought the paint and brushes cost more than the model for sure. Cheers Brendan PS> Did I mention driving my wife mad with cars ; )
  23. Couldn't get any decent shots of the calipers that I'm selling off the GT-R, too many cars close to the car, so I've taken shots of some calipers I have waiting to go onto my Silvia instead. These and the ones on the car are identical (except for amount of brake dust on them). http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-f1.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-f2.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-f3.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-r1.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-r2.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/gtr-caliper-r3.jpg Would suggest to anyone buying calipers that it's best to clean and paint before refitting for the best effect. Cheers Brendan
  24. Raven Saw your comments re the second kiddy (congrats by the way) and thought I'd offer my experience. Have had a two door car myself for daily duties now for the past 3 years (my son is four, daughter two). It was a GT-R, so not sure what the space differences are, but we had a second 'family' for regular family like duties (V6 Camry Wagon). Since then I had to replace the GT-R with a Silvia (costing too much) but found that with both we could fit both a baby seat and booster seat in the back. Getting them in there was difficult sometimes but that's a small price to pay to keep your baby. Anyway, now that my daughter is climbing in to the seat by herself, we recently got a GT-R (R32) for my wife to use as a daily driver. Boost space in the 'R is good for and enough for our purposes. My wife loves the car to bits and almost cried when the engine let go recently. Anyway, just thought I'd offer you my thoughts on the subject of kids and 2-door ownership. Keep the '30 and just have the X-Trail for family duties. Every now and then chuck the kids in the back of the '30 and go cruising. Cheers Brendan
