  1. Yeah mate - certainly will, it'll be in as a private entry but be seen on the C-Red stand. But I need to finish it first!
  2. Updated the blog, further interior movements: http://www.sillbeer.com/ Enjoy the read.
  3. Yeah, I think it could just be the company fireplace you're sitting behind.
  4. Seems to be fine at the moment, what's the message coming back to your web browser? Anyone else having problems?
  5. Updated the blog. Oh, and also chucked in a site specific search engine for you all to use. http://www.sillbeer.com/ Cheers Brendan
  6. A bit more posted about the stereo and wiring etc: http://www.sillbeer.com/
  7. I think that's one of the best compliments I've had to date. Well, I'm taking it as a compliment. And apologies for the delay, have been meaning to make a post for a couple of weeks, but my nights are spent working on clients stuff rather than my own. Cheers Brendan
  8. Blog updated, more interior stuff done. http://www.sillbeer.com/
  9. I can't believe this is the first time this has come up, surely someone might have looked into it? Looks like I'll just have to take a seat down to the trimmers to see if they can match it.
  10. FYI, S13 Silvia, although not a hatchback (it's a coupe), it does has fold down seats with a hole from the boot through to the cabin - there's no steel divider there at all. MANWHORE Do you have any references about a fuel cell of any kind being in the passenger compartment. Beer Baron I will get to an engineer, but before having to part with the fold, I wanted to know if anyone else here had any experience. Thanks Brendan
  11. I'm going to be installing a Sard (Single Pump) Surge Tank into my car (S13 Silvia), but I'm wanting to confirm the legalities of running this setup without sealing off the boot area. Is anyone able to point me to, or quote on the ADR's or NCOP's for this particular subject? I've looked in the NCOP Modifications for Light Vehicles Fuel Systems bulletin, and it mentions surge tanks, but nothing much else. The reason for not wanting to seal the boot off is mainly because I'd like a little bit of doof in the form of a sub woofer. For this I can either drop the rear seats down (they fold down in an S13 Silvia) or just use the speaker holes in the rear parcel shelf as ports. If I have to seal the boot off, I would need to make a ported enclosure which keeps the sub box sealed off from the boot space completely. I've been told that it's possible to have the surge tank in the boot, and not seal the boot as long as I run solid fuel lines...anyone know if this is actually true. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Brendan
  12. Just wondering if anyone has researched the availability of R34 GT-R interior cloth trim, in particular the spotted suede stuff, from anywhere? Cheers Brendan
  13. Yeah dude, plates are waiting out at Welshpool. If the car isn't licensed in time, I'll just make up some myself...which I was looking at doing anyway - well the front at least as a sticker rather than plate to smooth the airflow around the front bar. And many thanks for the kind words. Even if the car isn't finished, it will be there just the same.
  14. Doh, just called. No drivers seat unfortunately. The search continues (keeping yours in mind too Blitz). Cheers Brendan
  15. Thanks Paul, me neither. Will be sure to bring it on an SAU cruise so you can all see the result. It does have a few Skyline bits on it (brakes, diff, half shaft), so it should comply. Cheers Brendan
  16. Can anyone point me to someone who has an R34 GT-R drivers seat and rear seats in decent condition in Australia? If you know of a matching set of front seats, then so be it. Needs to be of the earlier version of the interior with the lighter grey, not the dark grey almost black one. Cheers Brendan
  17. Hahahaha, so do I mate! That's why it's taking so long Started in August 2004.
  18. I know some of you people are already keeping an eye on the build of my Silvia, and it's been a while since I posted regularly on SAU, so thought it time to share with some more people in WA. This car is what I've been building for coming on 3 yrs now since I wrote off my wine red R32 GT-R the day I'd finished tuning it (pics of the car). It's an S13 Silvia which has been taken back to a shell and started again from scratch - the highlights being a built SR20, wide body front and rear, brembo's, big rubber and full suspension fitout. The philosophy of 'factory special' has been carried throughout the build. Anyway, enough yapping, check out the blog for more info (there's a link to the build 'Plan' on the right column. http://www.sillbeer.com/ Cheers Brendan
  19. OK, unit is received and fitted, didn't want to repeat myself about all the details so here's a link to a post on my blog about the Brake Master Cylinder information: http://www.sillbeer.com/2007/04/brake-mast...er-upgrade.html

  21. Thanks dude, we've gone ahead and ordered the part through Nissan now, so should be here this week. Will be sure to post up pics. Cheers Brendan
  22. OK, I managed to track some pics down off of Yahoo Japan of a BNR32 N1 brake master cylinder (BM50) and someone else did a screen grab for me from the Nissan FAST application of brake master cylinders with numbers starting with #46010. These photos relate to #46010-05U01 for RB26DETT.GT-R.17 N1 (which I think relates to the V-spec N1) which is number 5 on my list below. http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/bnr32n1bmc/bnr32n1bmc1.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/bnr32n1bmc/bnr32n1bmc2.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/bnr32n1bmc/bnr32n1bmc3.jpg http://www.ipixel.com.au/temp/bnr32n1bmc/bmc-46010-range.gif The Japanese next to 5 & 6 is as per the following: (5) tokiko 1 bembutsu(?) confirmed N1 specification (6) nabuko 1 physical count N1 specification So a further translation would be (5) #46010-05U01 | *RB26DETT.GT-R.17 | Tokico 1" N1 Specification (6) #46010-05U21 | *RB26DETT.GT-R.17 | Nabco 1" N1 Specification I can only deduce from the 2 versions listed on Nissan FAST to be relating to the first version of the N1 based on a standard GT-R (RB26DTT) running the Sumitomo calipers (#46010-02U00 & #46010-02U20 were 15/16" cylinders), and the 2nd version which was based on the V-spec and V-spec II models (*RB26DETT.GT-R.17) running the Brembo calipers (#46010-05U01 & #46010-05U21 were 1" cylinders). So after all this, I'll be ordering in either a #46010-05U01 (Tokico) or #46010-05U21 (Nabco) unit depending on which one Nissan tell me to order. They seem to still be available ex-Japan for $445.00 inc GST and $440.00 inc GST respectively (trade pricing) through Nissan. When I receive the unit, I'll post pics and confirm size. Stay tuned. Cheers Brendan
  23. I know it's a late reply, but just for future reference. The model or chassis number in the Nissan FAST software has KBNR32RXFSLRA, this is also written as 'KBNR32RXFSL-RA' or 'KBNR32RXFSL RA'. According to this Japanese page, that model number is for an R32 Skyline GT-R Nismo: http://www.car-net.jp/car_spec/nissan/skyline/000328.html Cheers Brendan
  24. Thanks mate. If anyone can backup this it would be appreciated, but it sounds about right considering the weight of the donk and front diffs etc.
  25. G'day fellas Looking for the weight distribution specifications on a stock R32 Skyline GT-R. For the life of me through Google and SAU I just can't find anything. If you can give them for the R32 GT-R V-spec, V-spec II and N1 versions as well, that would be a definite bonus. Cheers Brendan
