Guys, I have made the choice to build a car, at the moment my leading choice is a R32 GTST and I plan on putting a RB25 in it. Stage 1 is just getting it running so thats all im aiming for at the moment. I know there are heaps of tutorials online and I plan on using these but what I want to know is the following. 1. Costs, I dont know the costs of things. I already have an engine that I am planning on purchasing for a good price and its in good condition. What about items like a R33 Gearbox, ECU, Coilpacks, Loom and all other bits to get the car going. 2. Shell. Now i need a rolling shell preferably I dont care if it doesnt have an engine or not id be looking at spending $3000 or so for the shell the quality of the shell is of upmost importance, How often do 32 gtst shells come up for sale? If so where is the best place to look. Is there any other hidden things i need to know. I plan on doing all the work myself maybe getting the aid of a friend. This will be taking place over the next 6months to 1 year. So its a long time coming and ill be getting bit by bit as I can. Any advice would be apprecieated.

Hey mate, first off you need to tell us a little about the car. Has it been looked after? Are there any problems you have noticed yet? Judging by your post you are new to skylines thats fine mate you will learn, personally id recommend you take it to a reputaple mechanic in your area. Get all your fluids changed, A compression test, leak down test and a complete check over of the car. Has it got any mods yet? Are you looking at doing some mods? We are only to happy to offer advice here on the forums

I will be in the market for a GTR soon if this was available then id buy it.

Um put the car in neutral and mash the accelerator see where the needle bounces just hold it for about 2 mins and by then im sure you will know what the rev limit is.

Its not that your car has gotten slower its you have gotten used to it. A stock GTST while it still goes "Alright" and better then your mazda. It will be a COMPLETELY different car with some mods. For example you say the cars stock, add the following. Pod Filter 3 Inch Turbo back exhaust with a high flow cat (or no cat if you are game) good quality front mount intercooler Electronic Boost controller and set it at around 12psi-13psi You might need a heavy duty clutch too All up that should cost you no more then $2500 - $3000 But the difference it does to your car will be HUGE! you will notice it. Later on you can get a Aftermarket ECU like a power fc Bigger Injectors Z32 AFM A new turbo... GTRS or something A Retune and hello 250rwkw or more. On another note, RB engines were designed to REV so redlining it isnt that bad for them as long as you arent bouncing off the limiter 24/7 VX Commodore ............ LOL! that is all.

Excellent answer, That is whats holding me back on getting a 32 right now. There are a few nice ones but a 34 just seems so good and there isnt many ive seen on the street.

Its because i am looking at getting one. I like them all, The reason are as follows, R32 - IT has that tough look, its lighter, Handles very well stock, ages well and the money i save on one I can mod the car with the left over cash. R33 - If i got a 33 R it would be a Series 3 I wouldn't get a 1 because of the ugliness of the interior. I used to own a 33 GTST and quite liked it. R34 - Its going to take me longer to get one of these hm 6 more months??? They look nice, are the newest of the RB26 and have the 6 speed box. Is it possible to put a 34 engine and box into a 32? At this point in time i am considering the 32. But i don't want to rush in until I hear the forums opinion. Thanks for your reply's so far guys.

Guys I want to know your opinions. Not what you own, from your experiences what GTR is better from the 32 33 and 34. Please include why. I dont want answers like 32 because its the original, What makes each car better or worse from each other.

Download "Utorrent"and install it. Go to a torrent site (you may need to sign up). I use www.isohunt.com as a torrent search engine. Open the torrent file with Utorrent choose the save location of the file and you are away.

Got bored today at work and was mucking around in google maps, decided id look for skylines.. After 1 hour i gave up.. Can anyone find one? Maybe even their own? Im talking about street view btw
