$499, for spitfires for an rb25de? F U C K...!!!!!!! sorry about swearing ive already got em ordered, exact same ones for $850 fitted.. im p'd off.... damn, i shoulda posted em earlier, woulda saved myself considerable amount of $$$ thanks for the help!! and for makin me look retarded hahah kiddin..

update time.... so i took it down to my mechanic....got it looked again...(3rd time) told him that i CAN only be two things, injectors or coils...as every other alternative has been checked and disregarded... low and behold, its the coils... but the bad thing - the price - $850 for set.... HOLY SHIT!!! haha car is booked in once again, for monday to get coils done.. will update if the problem is resolved...if not, get rady for alot of curse words..

yeh veilsides are a no-no i wanted one originally until i aw one up close, same as the URAS kit two ugliest bodykits for skylines....makes the car look like a lawnmower... my oppinion if u have a series 1 - go the JUN front, TRUST skirts, BN rear - keeps the shape of the skyline series 2 - a Full TRUST kit with AUTHENTIC NISMO eyelids...looks tuff as... just make sure your car has the "go" to match the "show" coz if not, we call those the "erectile disfunction" cars... ....."alot to look at, but when it comes down to it, doesnt go that hard"

saw 2 black r33's.. 1) coincidentally the license plate was BLCK 33, headin through Payneham 2) black r33 on Main north road Northern Suburbs, full Uras kit i believe....looked pretty mean

update............ ok, this is really really annoying me... been to the mechanics twice, paid for two different services and the problem still exists.. my r33 is misfiring, at low RPM and at Idle....does anyone know what could cause this...the longer i drive it, the worse it gets - i have already got the spark plugs checked, ECU, Catalytic converter, full service and tune, O2 sensor checked, solanoid, basically everything....now, im due to go to the mechanics 2moro, but they are saying it may be the fuel injectors.... where as im leaning towards a vaccuum leak, hence the reason the misfiring is consistant during idle... has anyone had similar problems...need help!!!!!!

haha yeh the bodykit is pretty masive...was honestly a fan of the JUN kit....for the series one.... with my cars in the past they have been sleepers... all go and no show, so now i wana try something different... all show hardly any go...haha but yeh when im off my P Plates i WILL be getting a rb25det chucked in pretty much on that same day... then, with the combination of a bodykit, rims and a detailed engine bay...il be pretty much set i didnt realise how hard it was to find a kit....theres alot of skylines on the road, but the majority that i see are series twos...not many s1's with kits, even in the gallery section on here.... p.s - kind of annoyed - went to order in a custom plate..R33SUM was taken

hey thanks for the replies and images everyone.... it sounds like the south australian body kit workshops arent exactly desired places... well i can honestly say ive ruled out AUTOSTYLE completely... went in today and they didint even have a catalogue of which bodykits are available, the bloke just shown me random images on his computer....oh not only that, i asked him how much for the kit, unpainted and unfitted, he said $1200 then i said how much for fitting and painting..he said an extra $1300 OR he can do it all for $2600 now im no maths teacher but 1200 + 1300 = NOT 2600... Viva garage , like someone posted have similar reputations as speed dreams, so if i go through them il either have bad luck or good luck....price quoted was for a mix and match of JUN, TRUST, and DO LUCK...quoted 1700 for kit painted and fitted.. which seemed good... has anyone ordered a bodykit from interstate, or ebay, or anything like that? because thats also an option.... from what ive heard CARMATE in sydney have the best range but they dont give delivery prices just to throw it out there what does everyone think of the kit below im tryin to decide if i like or not

hey, im lookin at gettin a kit for my r33 series one... But i have only come across two places so far 1 ) Viva Garage, fair prices but very limited selection 2 ) Autostyling on main north rd, great selection of kits, but 2500 painted and fitted is harsh anyone know of anymore places? ive already checked the workshop links on the forum, and none of them listed seem to do cosmetic mods please feel free to put up some pics of your bodykits, as i still need ideas

i agree...xr6 turbos are really quick..just needs an updated intercooler and boost controller...i drove one and beat my mates r34 with 240rwkw.... im actually a fan of the rims u have on the stag...i had some on my early model supra..... downside tho, f----in heavy.... changin a flatty will hurt ur back... nice stag overall

drove next to a white r33 gtst with chromies along main north rd from mcintyre rd around 11pm... well until we stopped at the lights.... his turbo, mine not...i did alright though..wasnt too embarrassed

i have a series one r33 NA Auto and il do 0-100 in just under 8seconds... only modification is the 2.25 inch exhaust system not the fastest but im one happy P Plater :laughing-smiley-014: and it beats up to vx commodores, so its all good... -
honestly it does sound exactly like backfiring, but a little quieter..

yeh it seems to be after the car has warmed up....for example, i could be parked at the lights and it feels like the cars dropping out but only for a split second..like, the RPM gauge will go from 1000RPM to 700RPM then back up within a second, but it does that continuosly until i reach above 80kms an hour.honestly it is so hard to explain so sorry for the confusion.. i just got the exhaust put on, like in a matter of two weeks.. its been through services and tunes, so i know it isnt running rich, thats why i am assuming its the cat, but the Symptoms (so to speak), are a bit different than usual cases... Yet to take cat off,but will friday..called in a sicky!!! cheers!!!!!!

cheers mate the only day i have off is sundays and no exhaust places down my way are open then, so time management is an issue. plus, if i take it to an exhaust place without knowing myself what the fault is then im more likely to get scammed. (if i go and say i THINK my cat is going, they will just replace it whether it is or not...haha) i tapped the cat converter and couldnt hear anything rattling.. may be starting to block up tho Thanks

hey everyone, let me set the scene.....recently my car has been makin noises, like the car is struggling, but can only been heard through exhaust.. now, it only happens after about ten minutes of driving (when the cars warmed up) and usually at low RPM or when the cars travelling at below 60....anything above and the car sounds fine.. my initial reaction was that the spark plugs were going, so i got a service and tune and the guy siad mechanically its fine (engine wise) which leads me to the conclusion that is an exhaust fault... would this be the cat converter going on its way out? has anyone had similar problems? i have to drive to melbourne over the long weekend coming up so i wanna make sure its running perfectly!! thank you!!

wouldnt worry about a silencer.... get an Oval style resonator put in.... will make it quieter, and give it a gruntier sound.... i originally had a 4inch canon put on a 2.25inch exhaust...was running crap put the silencer on, ran better... took the silencer off and added an oval resonator, runs better next, reducing cannon size, keeping piping and resonator...run best.....

i just got a exhaust put on my car.. non turbo, 2.25inch catback xforce system with a 4inch cannon car is running slow due to lack of back pressure, but when silencer is in, it runs smooth and fast diagnosis, match the piping size with the cannon size... you will usually see non turbo r33's with twin 2" or 2.5" twin tipped canons... good way to keep the grunt, and the power...as the air is being expelled through a pipe with the same diameter eliminating the lack of back pressure theory.... so to the guy who started this post, reduce piping size...and if u want a large cannon, and god knows we all do, get use to the sound of a silencer...if not, do as im about to, coz i made the same mistake as you, get a twin tipped cannon
