personally i like the xforce system..i myself have a 2.25inch catback system....really responsive and deafening loud... which to some is a bad thing.. my advice would be to not get very wide piping, i originally got a 2.5inch system installed, with a 4inch canon, and the car was losing performance due to lack of back pressure... so i dropped down the piping size, put a silencer in the cannon.... problem solved....car has excellent response and a tough sound to it..not a sporty sound definately not tinny at all.. but it all it does come down to personal preference...check out a few sound files of exhausts and videos on you tube to get the right idea.... but if ur limited by price, then go the xforce systems, fairly lightweight, legal and loud with silencer on, over 120db without.... mine was measured at 128db without, 96dbwith @ 4000rpm

ok...i drive a non turbo 33 (insurance reasons, not by choice ) i just put a 2.25inch exhaust system (catback) with a 4" cannon on the end now the problem, although it sounds so frickin good, im losing performance im guessing perhaps its coz i dont have any back pressure bcoz the cannon tip is bigger than the exhaust size? correct me if im wrong.... but interestingly enough, when i put the silencer on, i gain the performance, but it sounds terrible is there a middle option where i can have great sound without losing performance was personally thinking of keepin the same 2.25inch piping, but replacing the cannon with a twin tip (2inch) cannon any feedback would be much appreciated especially if uv ben in the same position as me.... no buy a turbo comments plz...haha, i already know i need one....

hey everyone.....ive got a r33 rb25de resprayed in black and purple pearl (GTR paint i presume)....its got the looks..and decent performance..but im greedy and i want more... haha car is stock at the moment....on stock rims to make it lighter, moved the battery to the boot in an attemp to even out the transfer of weight from the front to back....recently installed a 2.25inch exhaust system with cannon, but found without the silencer on it i was losing too much back pressure...car is noticeably quicker with silencer.... am thinking bout buying nismo 555 spark plugs and upgrading the air intake to a pod filter and also installing a high flow cat.... what peformance / torque gain would i be looking at? if anyone has any advice, other than buy a turbo r33, haha, then please reply... cheers

Hey, im the sites newbie...lol...just bought a skyline and want it to stand out as much as it can which brings me to the conversion... now, the only parts listed on the web for this is the wider fenders......obviously ud need headlights, and a front bumper and grill to complete it... 1- does anyone have any pics of one already done or in the process of completion 2- will the framework itself need customisation or just the febders and bumper etc...... cheers again.....

cheers for the help everyone............ this is what i was thinking.....everykit i had a look at i liked either the fronts, backs, or skirts, rarely the entire kit....so... what bout DO LUCK front bumper, JUN skirts and VEILSIDE rear? anyone got 18's on there car, and have noticed speed decrease? sorry with the questions everyone....just makin sure i make the right decisions

i know this might sound stupid, but i honestly dont mind the veilsides.....them, JUN's and DO LUCKS are my favs. its just a matter of seeing em on skylines with the same colour as mine....all my mates have white ones............

yeh i was lookin into suspension mods, but having it too low would ruin any kit i put on it ( sloped driveway + low cars = scratches) got a full sound system...amp, subs, 6x9's, 6's, mp3 player....gives headaches...haha... as for rims, most suit skylines, could either match car colour or get chromies......???
