  1. Thanks I know one other person with a rb20 in a s13, but I don't think they will let me play with thier ecu unfortunatly.. If I do buy another ecu which looks like my only option I will probably buy a earlier a31 instead, and use a nistune type 1 board so I can just use a usb cable.. Thanks for the offer though
  2. I'm located in the United States alittle ways from Australia...lol
  3. nope wont connect with standard consult either, which leads me to believe either I have a gay ecu that was to early to get consult programed in or something is wierd I don't know, me and professional techs/tuners have played with it for days...
  4. Well r32's might have consult ports but not on the engine harness, like I said rb20 in a s13, I wired a consult plug directly to the ecu, its wired correctly because ive done it before its simple....but its still not connecting? I would bring it to an experienced Nistune shop but im located in the US. Thanks for the idea's though
  5. Hi I recently installed nistune on my r32 rb20det(in a s13). I loaded factory map on the daughter board installed and every thing runs great as stock! Now for the problem's rb20's dont have consult port's which is the way nistune type 2 boards connect to a laptop. Im getting no connection to the laptop through nistune or through nissan consult program. I know Nistune works(used on other vehicles) and I know the cables are good, the consult port is correctly wired up and im getting correct voltage from the signal wires and I have good power and ground. I heard that r32's before 10/89 won't work with consult is that true? Anyone else have problems like this? Any help is greatly appreciated...
