well bedding the the brakes are quite easy, 4or 5 relativelly hard stops from 80-90 kph down to 30kph to remove surface rubish off the pads which allows the disc to warm up and pads bed in, then leave brakes to cool down. process finished. also put a dial indicator on the disc surface and check runout , dont want any more than 3-4 thou . If it is the discs you will have a slight jerkiness (hesitation) when rolling with your foot slightly on the pedal. Hope this helpes

Hi Guys, my drive has seen only Nissan for the past40 years and the s2 stagea is the best i have had. I took a trip to Morwell Hillclimb for the last ever event there at the weekend and took the Stagea instead of my Exa sports sedan and i must say that i was really suprised how good the stagea was, plenty of power handled magic and stopped realy well ,my consumption about 550 km /tank. Find another horny looking wagon with power and good looks,plus all the goodies , the only thing i am pissed about is that i didnt buy it years ago. Dennis

Hi Depends where you are , my roads aren`t exactly smooth and i would be in trouble with bigger than 18"x 8, because you have no cussion and will bend wheels and getting them rerolled is a pain.

Well sorry guys but i am the opposite ,I drive a falcon ute with triptronic and it doesn`t compare to my Stagea. Best of both worlds, look on Utube at the GTR film , He leaves it in auto3.3 0-100 11.3 standing quarter not bad ehh

another thing to check while your at it is the ignition module, they have a habit of loosing a cylinder or the thing just wont rev above 4000 rpm, otherwise coils

when you put the shifter into manual mode , there is a switch next to the shifter, an icon will appear on the dash below the gear selection light and the buttons will work. My rear spoiler doesn`t come close.

Did a job for a guy a little while ago , Nissan wanted $1200 + of which naturally he could not afford. Turned out the turbo was loose , fitted a new gasket A OK! Check your oil feed line too! may be blocked or restricted

Yep your right , my S2 has a cooler mounted as the other post suggested, the nissan auto should be ok to tow, trailer brakes will help and i dont thing you will have any problems with the chassis. I have a Falcon BF2 Ute company car that i tow my race car with, Ford and Holden wont guarantee there clutches if you are towing .

well i have tein in my series 2 and i must say it isn`t a bad ride, firm but not bone jaring. You have to keep in mind that the springs do all the work and the shocks just dampen the springs so if you want to do it right you have to upgrade the lot, koni are mainly oil shocks and bilstein are gas, depends what you want to do. Circuit work go koni,dirt work go bilstein as they dont froth the oil and fade.

there is only STARTEX Carmate , Telecontrol Engine starter yva0004 te6xm , an oval shaped unit with an arial out the back and about 6-8 dip switches on the front. I was told that it was also a turbo timer but i dont think so Dennis
