  1. i might turn up, see if i can get some of the other 31 guys to turn up.
  2. interested, always keen to get some pics of the 31 even if its not all that 'hektic' looking
  3. when welding in panels should you tack it ever say inch, then go back to the beginning and put another tack, over lapping or just under the first lot of tacks and keep repeating till you have welded the hole seam/join. or is it better to tack it then do one complete weld between each tack one at a time? cheers elliot
  4. pretty confident in the eyes of the law you shouldn't be speeding at all, regardless. mate of mine is facing loosing his licence because he was rushing to get to an accident that happened on the opposite side of the road.
  5. when it comes to pictures, if any one has pictures of any of the R31's ide love a copy if its possible, or at the least some pics of the white passage with the BBS mesh rims and black grill with the red GTS writing on it. again thanks, i feel pooped can only imagine how the early birds must feel.
  6. have to say thanks guys for a great day.
  7. i think you mean backlash? I've learnt two things in the last few years. unless you can do the job 100% right your self, pay some one to do it. for two reason. your dont get dirty and if it f**ks up they fix it(assuming they f**ked it). cheers elliot
  8. with out sounding like a dick, you would probably shave more time by removing the sub box/boxes and amps etc. by the sound of your posts i assume you have 2 boxes or a boot install, theres probably 15KG or more right their. but the wing if set up right will have an effect as well, maybe do both and shave even more time off. cheers elliot
  9. nope it wont be the same as aus specs run a BW diff and the hand brake is built into the rear calipers, ill try and find the link over on R31skylineclub for you and it lists some of the parts for aus spec and imports. im sure i remember seeing brake part numbers in their
  10. making me thing i need to install every thing with uncommen head bolts/screws making it harder or neer on impossible to remove. all in the hope they get frustrated at the fact its taken 10 mins to remove a speaker and do the runner. cheers elliot
  11. Dont go posting about turning up and taking money/parts, one he could read it and know whats coming and two it can be used in evidence to some degree, dont know if it would hold up in court but it wouldnt be helping your case if you were accused of any thing. cheers elliot
  12. is there any way we can confirm if our money/fax has been received? Cheers elliot
  13. although i gont know all the information from what i can tell you, you ran into him or he ran into you and both of you were at equal fault If no person can be found to be guilty i was under the impression you fix it your self.
  14. fax and payment sent just then
  15. hi mate no trying to be a downer or nothing but you would be lucky to get $300 for the fronts and $200 for the rears partly because the rears don't have the matching boot garnish/numberplate surround so it looks incomplete. judging by the pics your car is fitted with a pintara boot garnish and you would have more luck selling them over on R31skylineclub.com cheers elliot
  16. I shall be entering the HR31 next couple of days, few of the lads on r31SC are looking at entering as well. Cheers elliot
  17. Don't happen to have just a plain black leather style one do you, they seam impossible to find
  18. same to assume by block you mean, no head
  19. jeez penrith store seams like a complete contrast to the blacktown store at the blacktown store when there were no off the shelf springs for my R31 wagon they offered to cut down some cortina springs, sound fine until they told me the spring rates were 10kg WTF. might have to pop in and see whats going on. cheers elliot
  20. What would be the best way of sending a bonnet. does it need to be boxed up, or should i be right to send it wrapped in bubble wrap and foam. I figure it the type of thing that can be tied up against the head board. Cheers elliot
  21. Thanks for the info so far guys, I figure if it doesnt work, well the cooler cost me nothing, and ill go buy a PWR one. cheers elliot
  22. just got one of these of ebay If you want to get it dirt cheap, search around for a week or so, find out when they sell the cheapest, which would be later at night (10PM+) or earlier in the morning. Some have a buy it now price of around $400 and can be bought in an auction for around $200-$300, mine had a buy it now price of $380 and with postage it was $298 after auction The only complaint i would make is its a little slow to load, if i my dongle into the usb slot it takes 10 sec or so before it registers and begins to play But not to bad, GPS seams to be accurate although it cant find a location if you more than 10 meters from a road. eg in a shopping centre car park (on the roof) also mine didnt come with a tv antenna so thats going to be an extra $30-$40 depending on type and brand Any sugestions on which type of tv antenna to get?
  23. Hi, i also noticed there is a difference in design between a water to air and air to air. But Ive read of it being done before with reasonable success, Its not going to cost me any thing to make/modify the cooler, if it doesnt work ill just buy a Small PWR unit. cheers elliot
