  1. Put me down for morning skid pan timer if no one else wants it. sounds like fun.
  2. I'll be at the BP just after 6am. UHF Channel 14 still the preferred one?
  3. I'm happy to do whatever you need in the morning. Might have to leave before the afternoon is finished tho. How about somewhere different to where I was for the last deca?

    Back Pain

My partner had pain like you describe. They sent her to all kinds of places, acupuncture, physio etc. In the end, we went to the GP and demanded a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. At the appointment, he said all she'd been doing with the other doctors / physios etc was causing more damage. She had a slipped disc and only surgery would fix it. So that was at least 7 other "health professionals" that had recommended treatment that made things worse. Surgery a week later and she's been fine ever since (4+ years ago now).
  5. I've just renewed, so if i take the cheap renewal option at the BBQ, does my membership stay current thru to early 2011 ?
  6. I posted in the accommodation thread but figure it might be better here.. Heading up Saturday morning and returning Saturday evening by myself, so if anyone wants to come up just for the day, I have a spare seat. Leaving from the City / Docklands early. PM me if you're interested.
  7. I'm heading up early on Saturday morning and back Saturday evening. If anyone needs a lift, let me know. (Leaving from the city / docklands).
  8. I'll be there
  9. I agree completely. Ash, next time you leave your car unlocked with no alarm in a high-crime suburban shopping centre and it gets stolen, don't expect any sympathy from me.
  10. I also miss... Jokes emailed to me that I hadn't heard before. Chain emails I had never seen before. archie.au Fidonet.
  11. I'd like to re-nominate Ash for President.
  12. My Gemini.. Everyone should have to do a few years in a TD Gemini as a first car. I loved how little I cared about it, but how reliable it was.. We were on a cruise, ended up standing about in a carpark with mates in the pouring rain so I handed out wet & dry sandpaper and we all rubbed the car down for a re-spray while chatting in the rain. A replacement engine cost $100 for a good one.. Tyres were $60 a set for "good" ones from the local wrecker.. And you could buy a set every week..
  13. Black-ish 34 4 door on the way to Sorrento at about mid-day.. Silver 35 GTR parked beside the road at Sorrento at about 2pm. Silver 33 with the front L/H guard & bonnet all smashed on the Monash heading towards the city sometime after 4pm.
  14. Try Racebrakes.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ra...er-t109774.html They are pretty good, can even do things on a Saturady morning. Not quite east, but not west either.
  15. I've just never seen anyone so pleased to be in a photo before! And I don't mean Ferah..
  16. http://www.pbase.com/sooty34/image/107155198 <-- Happy birthday Mr President?
  17. +1 keep it stock. The guys at BMW probably put a lot of thought into how the exhaust flowed, how it sits under the body etc, I don't believe "Backyard Performance" muffler shop will do better than a whole load of German engineers. It'd be like getting an angle grinder out to lower it....
  18. I've never had an EPA notice for exhaust noise, but my GT-R is fairly quiet (even with the 3" exhaust). Can you just pop along to a testing place and get a test done without the EPA, I'd prefer to get it tested and know it's leagal when it suits me, not when I have to prove soemthing to the EPA....
  19. First thing to know... Don't do it.. Rotaries are fun for about a week or two, then you have to live with it. Not a good car to buy and not reliable..
  20. Results at the meeting on the 16th Dec....
  21. There was a guy at the markets where the Show & Shine was on the weekend that was advertisign Mod Chips fitted to a Wii. Can't recall what he was charging tho.
  22. I had a great day, the cars were awesome. Only problem is now I have so many ideas that require spending some more money on mine. http://picasaweb.google.com/wyseman/SAUShowShine301108 <-- Repost pics from the other thread How good was the BBQ?
  23. Another great day out... http://picasaweb.google.com/wyseman/SAUShowShine301108
  24. 1) When they spell out the word "Open" in a fish & chip shop window. 2) When they are part of a bad movie about Japanese cars. I'm sure #1 is ok. Only about 12% sure on #2.
  25. Photos or it didn't happen.
