  4. I'm not going to be able to make it now for this one. Just found out work is sending me to the US the week before this and I won't be back in time. d'oh!
  5. Yep. Dance music gets into your brain, like liquid into this chalk...
  6. Jealousy makes holden drivers do strange things.
  7. Spotted a silver 33 with purple graphix near chadstone, SAU stickers, gave you a wave.. Another black 33 a few minutes later.
  8. If money was no object, i'd go for something like http://www.mmsport.com.au/productview.php?...id=In-Car_Video Unfortunately string / tape / glue is more in my budget.
  9. Sounds like a good drive.. Last one was great. I might come along!
  10. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...75-2862,00.html A police spokesman said both cars were heading towards the city when - according to witnesses the woman tried to do a U-turn in front of the other car. So, most likely not the Skyline's fault.

  15. I'm planning to get it looked at this week (it's not a daily driver).. Anyone in Melbourne have a recommendation on somewhere that does good work but doesn't charge mega $$. I'm after getting it fixed, not producing huge HP. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post recommendations
  16. I turned up, was a nice day out. only 3 cars, Leisurely drive etc. And yes, the organiser did show up.
  17. Problem: My R32 GT-R developed a rattle this afternoon. Took me a while, but i've narrowed down the conditions required to make the noise. Revs have to be over 2500. Boost has to be in the few marks on the guage just before 0. As soon as you go into positive boost, the rattle stops. If you back off the throttle completely, the noise stops. This happens in all gears at all speeds. Stock turbos etc. Does anyone have any ideas on what the noise is likely to be? Anyone in Melbourne who's near the CBD is welcome to come listen if you think you can figure it out..
  18. 40 spaces? wtf? Exactly how many cars are you expecting? Reading the thread it looks like you have 2 possibles and 3 maybes. Is it advertised on any other sites? I'm thinking about coming along, but i want to make sure it won't be a saturday afternoon race meeting with the entire population of 25 car forums..
  19. Tall blonde, standing beside a car.... At a motor show? Should be easy to find.. haha http://www.caradvice.com.au/5929/glamorous...or-show-part-5/
  20. From what I hear around the office, the next big thing is going to be Video IVR systems (3g Mobiles, press 1 for this, press 2 for that etc).. All the phone companies are pushing 3g services, and soon business are going to take advantage of the new things they can do (new ways they can advertise).
  21. Victoria has some of the best police money can buy..
  22. Was thinking the same thing.. Digging up every post back to the start of Jan? lol
  23. I'd agree completely with this.. I brought mine (32 GT-R) 2 weeks ago and within a week, i've had to spend on the following. Rego Transfer Fee - $30.50 plus $8 for every $200 value of the car, so a $16000 car would cost you $670.30 (calculator). Airocn Re-Gas $120 Alarm + Install $390 (make sure you become an SAU member, good discount on alarm install). Blown Radiator hose $80 (top and bottom silicone hoses) Wheel balance $??? not got this done yet, but it threw a balance weight within the first week, vibration above 100k's. So that's already $1260 or more on top of the purchase price. As with any new car i'm going to get it serviced quite soon, you have no idea of really knowing when the last one was done, even if the previous owner says it's just had a service. From what I understand, a service can cost around $1K depending on what needs doing (hope mine doesn't need cam belt etc).
  24. I went across there the other day. Couple of good spots for photos.
  25. It could be cool... with some nice rims, a bit of a detail....
