My cars intercooler piping popped off a while back, I put it back on and things went alright. It came off again, and again.. til I bracketed the bastard from coming off anymore. I drove the car to a crash repair shop to get some work done and when I went to drive it out, the car wouldnt start. Theres fuel going to it, but just no bang! Could this be the same problem? And is it the same thing that I need to have a look at? Sorry to ask in this thread but its basically the same concept. Cheers...

Yeah I just wanted to know if the headlights just go straight in, dont want to spend money on useless items haha. Looks like ill be changing the exhaust temporarily then... Cheers a bunch mate!

Just wanted to know... Is there an exhaust from another Nissan that can fit on the A31? I have regency booked shortly, and the noise is the only thing I have to take care of. Trying to source a stock exhaust has proven quite difficult. I have a mate with an S13 exhaust but not sure if that will work even though its based on the same chassis. I'm sure it cant be that easy. lol... Second thing is, later model headlights... My current headlights are missing the glass/plastic surrounds because they had a crack in them. Regency told the bloke that I bought it off of that they werent good enough so he pryed them out and away he went. But now, it just absolutely kills the look and its one of those things that I want to finish off! Do they just bolt straight back in and wire up? Dont want to have to do to much fiddling, I just want to drive the bloody thing again! Lastly... Trying to find a non butchered front bumper... Same bloke bought the one I have now from a wrecker, and it still looks like it belongs on a wreck. lol... So if anyone has a half decent front bumper or aftermarket one around, please contact me. Nope, I have two placards with the same number on it. Found a code for a Ceffy that worked, started with CA31.. but I tried that and didnt work either.

Too suspicious lol... few mates have told me that they just sit next to the police and dont do anything. Yet, when Im driving.... normally, which I tend to do cos I love my car. Im targetted... I turned down a sidestreet, granted that It WAS a shortcut to get to where I was goin... if only I had kept followin the police car in front of me and turned off another few hundred meters away I would of cleared the defect station.

My Ceffy... friend of mines Charade too. Yes its a chick... lol. Love this picture... Love this one too! Mate of mines 180sx too. I took this picture up in the hills when the sun was setting, it came out remarkably well! Had perfect tone on it, one of the best logo pictures you could get on a car IMO.

In my travels the only time I've found an old bomb with a defect sticker on it, was a white sigma that looked to be owned by a fairly old bloke... Was at the police station, cranked over the engine... she fired up, and lots of white smoke just poured from the exhaust. Now thats what I call a dangerous car! First time I ever actually felt happy... Most of the time I drive past and see a copper on the side of the road he has an import in front of him, only a few times has it been a Commodore. What shitted me off was the joke they played at Mallala last major event there, with a defect station set up right at the end of the town. Now, tell me if thats not biased? I get pissed off at the fact that I got done for being too low, when all I see are P.O.S pre 85' that smoke you out when you sit behind them... Annoys me when my car has perfect brakes, perfect handling, is better for the environment... but yet im the one with 2 canary's on my car. -_- Dont wanna scrape those poor speed humps! Tis amazing seeing the council actually doing some road re-surfacing. /bitch lol...

Someone able to do A31 727466...? I tried myself, but it doesnt seem to work. Pretty sure its a turbo and a manual conversion...

First car was a Ford KC Meteor... still remember the day I drove that for the first time by myself, cruising down the road with the music cranking. Putting it into reverse, and then back into first and just dumping the clutch... haha. Good times... Then I had a VN Commodore, cost me $500 & thrashed that every weekend pretty much, all it was good for really haha. Sold that for $1700 was a good buy that car. Only replaced the brake pads and the radiator. Was still a fairly clean car. Then I got my Z31 300zx... god I miss that car, I wish I could drive it for just one more day. Many headturns in that thing, the fact it was a single muffler exhaust, buy boy did it sound nice. And the IRS, gave the rear end an absolute dumping cos of the f**ked shocks. haha... Miss the targa roof the most though... Going through the hills with it off was beautiful. Got defected... Dad bought me a 85' Volvo 240, that was my punishment for my stupidity when driving lol... Then when my mate bought a 180sx, I decided I was gonna go buy a decent car... hence the Cefiro, I bought that to get away from the police for a while, otherwise I would of bought something more sportier. Love the RB sound, and dont know if I could settle for any other engine now. Still, got defected anyway. Back to the Volvo again, over the period ive had it, almost a year now... its not so bad, it gets me to work and thats basically all it needs to do. Ceffy is almost back on the road though.

Okies... Been on the Ceffy since I got it. With the trip to regency I had to take them off because of camber wear. But no biggie! If I get some interest in them, they might not go back on. Bought new front tyres not long ago so the tread on them is pretty decent. Rears are worn, will replace before selling. So consider all brand new tyres! Think they are Speedy, or something like that. Car isnt with me at the moment. No idea what offset/size etc. Fronts: 215/45/17 Rears: 225/45/17 One of the 215's rims has gutter rash most of the way around the rim. (not my fault!) Another one has a few scratches and chips. One of the 225's needs to be replaced because of camber wear... hehe. If anyone is interested let me know, throw an offer. This is what they look like under coilovers in the rear and tokico's at the front. ________________________________________________________________________________ ___ Now is my Sony Xplod Head Unit. Bought this for my first car, its been in 2 others after that. Was $359 bucks on special when I got it, but I'll settle for $70 bucks. ________________________________________________________________________________ ___ Pair of Sony Xplod speakers, 6 1/2"! Peak power: 190W Bought when I got the head unit. Was on sale at the time for $69 on special. One has a slight hole in the cone, doesnt really change anything. Still works fine. Only $25. ________________________________________________________________________________ ___ Pair of Pioneer 6 1/2" Peak power: 220W Came with the Cefiro, I replaced them with some 6x9's. Sounded really nice, if not better then the ones I put in lol. Just havnt been arsed putting them back in. $30. Consider them great speakers for a cheap price! If I had another car to put them in I would. ________________________________________________________________________________ ___ Last is some roof cover bags from a Z31 300zx. I got these when I bought my Turbo Z project, sold the car a while ago now and totally forgot I had them. They are in excellent condition, they are quite rare. Blue exterior with black interior. Ay mate cheers... I ended up grabbing a R32 tailshaft the other day, and took it down and did notice that it was slightly shorter then the Cefiro, but the bloke there who is a mate of mines brother said he can make it work by doing exactly what you just said. Thanks .. Adam.

Greetings, Im currently on the lookout for a tailshaft for an A31 to get through regency, the centre bearing has collapsed in mine & the people who have been doing the work for me have been unable to source a part. It's the only thing I need left to get my car back on the road! If anyone has any idea as to where one might be found, pleast let me know. Thank you so very much.. Adam.

My cefiro went through Regency about a month ago, left the coilovers in it and the bloke told me to remove them or have them checked for a certain amount of travel. Was easier just to remove them. And I thought that you cant go any higher then 2" with wheels, if standards are 15" then 17" is as far as you can go? Is that right... Good luck mate... How I got done was the same kinda way.

Wouldnt know... clutch is pretty much f**ked LOL! At the moment it is though. But things have started on the repairs of the Ceffy! WOO! Shouldnt take to long. I wouldnt mind getting my bike license and getting a bike, but thats expensive now too.

My Ceffy gets about 300-350k's a tank, 50 litre tank is quite small.. But it just drinks it. I have another car that I use to get to work, and that does me wonders, fill it up once every week or two weeks, I dont really drive it anywhere else during the week. Unfortunately its a Volvo lol... but it definetly does the job. It was free...

All cefiro seat belts and front left belt buckle? Headlights and grille? Tail shaft centre bearing? Left hand front steering rack boot? Split pins for front lower ball joints? Front sway bar link pin rubbers? Might as well get most of it out the way....
