Helps if it is, but not necessary. As long as you have sanded back the bits you want to paint and you use a good surface primer it should come up schmicko

yeah gotta sand it back.... and you must use primer, or the paint bubbles and pools in certain areas. Takes a little longer but worth it in the end. The door trim is probably the easiest stuff to pull out and is the best place to start.

I've been there... it is heaps of fun (from what I can remember anyway) But you would only go for a holiday.... living there would be the end of a lot of peoples productive lives IMHO

Paint your dash thats what i have been doing today.... it's dry now and i am just halfway through putting it back in
