Well if it's your uncle ring him up and say your mum is full of shit and wouldn't know a computer if it bit her in the arse and that yes you are extremely interested in the position. You are related to him so you already have a lot more leverage with him than the average person would

That was nice of her :? Ring the guy back and say your mum doesn't know what she is on about. As an employer myself I like it when potential staff take the initiative and go the extra mile and make it easy for me to hire them. Finding staff is a pain in the ass and unless he has already filled the position with someone else, you might still be in luck
