when my old timer died and I went to put the other new one, in it looked to be too much hassle, so I got the people who installed the immobiliser and alarm to also give me a quote on installing the new timer.... got a quote for $35.00.... ended up taking the dude 2 3/4 hours to get it all working together properly.
Glad I got the quote before he started doing it coz the labour would have been more than the timer itself.
And sooo glad I didn't try it myself, if it takes a professional almost three hours to work around all the other electronic crap in there, god knows how long it would have taken me
