  12. To which I would have said "I would, but today I want to go fast around corners and up a hill, not fast in a straight line on a flat road" Stupid knuckle draggers :flamed:
  13. So who went and where are all the photos? Man I hate working on Saturdays, miss out on too much good stuff.
  14. HEAR HEAR!!!!!Probably one of the most dangerous bad habits these inconsiderate drivers have. They destroy traffic flow and cause accidents, there are signs all over the Highway saying "keep left unless over taking" so they have no excuse. I think we all know how dangerous these clowns are in comparison to someone mildly speeding. Why aren't the police booking these people instead of booking people going 10Kmph over the limit. I guess it would be because they can't sit on their arse in a van taking photos of people driving slow in the righthand lane, i.e no easy revenue to be gained. I too would like to see some figures. Regular Cruise

Sunday is good for me Strutto and if you need help organising I am willing We should probably do a practise run within the next couple of weekends so we have directions, waypoints and a lunch break area organised. Early morning start is good so we can beat most of the traffic. I think that your suggestion of leave from the BP and head out through Maudsland / Tamborine and then back in towards Nerang before heading on towards Hinze Dam / Numinbah Valley and on to Murwillumbah is a goer. Are most people happy with that chain of events? Lets make the first real skyline cruise of the year a big one folks

    Regular Cruise

A cruise for Team //GC? Well I know it has been done to death, but I have been hitting the Springbrook Ranges and going the mountain way down to Murwillumbah the last couple of weekends. Not a bad little run, doesn't have the camber on the roads that Mt Nebo does, so you can't take the corners at 100KPH or so, but still a pleasant drive and there are picnic places all along the way. Round trip without waypoints and breaks would be about 3 1/2-4 hours What do people think of that for team //GC first "official" (cough cough) cruise? We could even go further west or south if need be

    Regular Cruise

I like the idea of passing on the batton/flag/whatever to the next organiser, it does give purpose and a sense of ownership for the next cruise. I think having a big cruise more than once a month destroy's the novelty of the whole thing and it then becomes an everyday thing, easy to ignore, instead of an "Event" which gets everybody excited. It also allows those who want to organise little cruises in the mean time to do so. I do tend to agree with Predator that city cruising is a little boring, plus the lights and traffic breaks the group up too much. Plus riding a 2000 pound clutch for hours whilst cruising through the city is not really my idea of a good time. Definitely more discussion and input is needed.
  19. Oh and i should say that I am working so I won't be able to make it
  20. i'll do it for him QLD When: Saturday 7th February 2004 Meet: Harry's Diner 104 Newmarket Rd Windsor At: 9.00am for a 9.30am departure. Description: The cruise will be visiting a route up Mt.Nebo/Mt.Glorious then down the other side to Somerset dam for a BYO BBQ lunch. We'll bring our own BBQ and all everyone needs to do is bring their own lunch to cook. If it is hot (highly likely) then a swim is possible at the lunch area. After lunch we'll be heading back through Kilcoy and up and over Mt.Mee through to Dayboro and Samford to finish the day around 6.00pm. Total kms will probably only be 250 - 300.
  21. Will do Strutto. Anyway back on topic, Gavin rocks!!!!
  22. Cool. Okay next question does anybody know how to be a member of a public group in your profile? You know when you click on your name or avatar, it lists it here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/me...mber.php?u=4618 in the bottom right hand corner under "group memberships"
  23. Hey guys I work at the Northern end of the Gold Coast does that count? Not that I want to change my signature anyways (the new V-Bulletin upgrade won't allow a sig as long as mine anymore) just thought I would ask though
  24. Anyone here own a Maroon R33 and was drifting, really badly, around the roundabout for 20 mins on the corner of Cheltnam Dr/ Thorngate drive in Robina on Sunday night. Great work in a suburban neighbourhood at 1.00am champ. No wonder the police are on everybody's back. Save it for the skidpan or industrial areas dickhead! F*CKi^G WANKER !!!!! .
