  1. Hey Slip I know it is all finalised and all, but can I put my name down as a substitute in the event that someone pulls out? If a spot does come open, I will transfer money into your account straight away. Cheers
  2. Hey Joey, Welcome aboard looking for Cruises and events check here out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/fo...p?s=&forumid=37 You just missed a big cruise through Mt Nebo on Sunday, it was mad! (you will have to keep up with the rest of the Gold Coast crew when on the cruises as we have a reputation to upkeep, shouldn't be hard in a GTR)
  3. Sorry didn’t mean to offend you I have met you a couple of times and you seem like a really nice person and I don’t want to start a slanging match, but contrarily, if people are saying bad things about BoostCruising, then maybe some of the senior members should be looking “why” people are saying it, and taking measures to rectify it. As they say “where there is smoke there is fire”. Unfortunately the “hangers on” may indeed be causing the problems, but if nothing is done by the senior members to teach the proper etiquette on a cruise, then they know no better. I mean who wants to hear someone’s stereo playing over the UHF, blocking off all other communication? That is something easy to rectify. Whether they are all “members” or “hangers on” is irrelevant, people gauge BoostCruising on their experience when cruising with them. A lot of people are saying that there are problems now and I admit it was not always so, it used to be fun to go, but now the dynamics are changing and hiding your head in the sand is not going to change that. Soon the knob factor will reach critical mass and BoostCruising will be a yobbo’s club and nothing more This is why *You* invite skylinesaustralia and no one ever attends. But hell, I guess it is much easier to have a go at people for commenting on it, as opposed to doing something about it. Oh and by the way, I always think before I say anything. (this is not a dig at you personally or BoostCruising, just an observation is all)
  4. Yeah I want some of those as well.
  5. I believe we are leaving at 7.30am on the dot :burnout: And yes it is the BP at the Coomera turnoff. I will be leaving Southport around about 6.45am so you can tag along with us then if you want. PM me if you do
  6. That was because it was a boostcruising cruise (which always brings the knobs out) which is why you don't see me go to their cruises. This a skyline cruise, completely different kettle of fish IMHO.
  7. Was anyone from here following behind me today (Fri/10/03) up Ross Street on the Coast at about 8.40am? Maroon R33 with a bigarse FMIC
  8. Yeah but there is a flu going around at the moment and you aren't feeling too well. Right? RIGHT????????
  9. Would it be possible to see pics of the cooler and the Momo products? [email protected]
  10. Weather forcast is Sunny and Hot in the morning with Thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Looking like this is gunna be a good run
  11. What type of costs are expected for installation of the unit? Thinking about trying one in my girlfriends soarer.
  12. Ok cool. Will meet at the BP Coomera at 7.00am for a 7.30am leave. Cruise or fast run? I am down for either :burnout: but would prefer just a cruise with a bit of boost everynow and again.
  13. I want to join, but I want to know if my membership will be transferable when the QLD SAU Club gets up and running.
  14. Hey Belgarion are you still organising the Gold Coast contingent?? And if so when/where are we going to meet before cruising to School Road?? Been hanging for a good mountain cruise for ages
  15. Yep that was me but it is gunmetal grey I want my car to be the colour of yours, love the ice green. Or is it arctic green? Can never remember.
  16. Do you have a link where we can dob in unroadworthy Police cars????
  17. Yep they can be adjusted. When I first took delivery of mine from Japan, the High Beams (which are crap BTW) the right hand side was shooting all the way up the road and the left hand side was aimed down to about 5-10 meters in front of the car. Had to take it a car electrician to be readjusted, $60.00 Still find it easier to see distance with the standard halogens than the High Beams.
  18. Hello Cam, Nice to see another GTR on the road. Love to see you bring it down to the Gold Coast for a Sunday arvo cruise along the Esplanade. mmmmmmmmmmmmm GTR !!!!!!!!
  19. Pics or a link please.
  20. Thats good news Hayden, which then brings us back to why do "you or I" have to prove that it is under 90DB and meets EPA Ratings for the year of the car. Shouldn't the cops have to "prove" that it is over 90DB or that it isn't meeting emission ratings? If that is not the case then this, in my mind, is what is wrong with the system i.e the police with their immeasurable resources and finances, can just keep giving you defects as often as they want (whether the car is defective or not) and you then have spend your time and money to prove that it is not. In fact I work next door to some lawyers, I am gunna ask them. Stayed tuned.
  21. More than likely that the Lambo driver would take it to court with a Q.C. and get off if there is even one t uncrossed or one i not dotted. The cop would know that he would be out of his league so wouldn't even bother. One law for the obscenely rich, and another for skyline owners and another for everyone else. Welcome to the democratic republic of Australia folks
  22. Just had mine done recently only cost $120.00 Car is moving very well now indeed
  23. Might be a good question for this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=20242 If it is still on, that is. (meh hopes)
