    R33 Vid

we want street races and footage of trying to get away from the cops, but getting tyre spiked and then bent over the bonnet while a long line of Qld's finest take their turn
  8. Scanners Cyrus?? In all honesty I haven't even looked at any computer hardware specs prices since I left Umart, after almost three years I had enuff of that stuff. Ummm probably Epson or Canon though
  9. sup folks?? :wavey:
  10. lol Yeah it is easy to get drawn in, best sci-fi series ever.
  11. IBM had theirs changed to F12 on there OEM versions iirc and I think Gateway's (when they were around) was F1
  12. Yeah try it with all the F keys Ben. It is still standard for the F8 for Windows, but in this case it is HP changing their OEM version of Windows for support reasons and not MS's fault (for once)
  13. actually you won't be able to get into safe mode with a dos prompt if you running XP
  14. you can try, but HP have probably disabled that too
  15. which is why you need to get into safe mode
  16. It's funny coz it's true wtf was that Penguin on??? I want some
  17. Bloody name brand computers HP changing Windows so you can't do simple maintenance tasks sux0r
  18. It should have looked like this
  19. did you read the tabs at the top
  20. looks like we will have to try it the hard way then From the Start menu's Run dialog, enter the command MSConfig. Click on the BOOT.INI tab and check the /SAFEBOOT box. Now when you boot, Windows will go into Safe mode. Naturally, when you no longer need Safe mode, you'll repeat the process and uncheck that box. Unless HP have changed that option too
  21. that explains alot Never ever buy a name brand computer people, they are a pos. They change Bios settings and stuff so you can't fix your own computer using normal instructions. They want you to ring them up when something bad yet simple happens so they can charge you like a wounded bull to get it fixed.
  22. have you got name brand computer like a HP or a Dell or something Ben?
  23. so when you are restarting the computer as the white writing comes up (before the windows load screen comes up) you should continually press the F8 button and eventually you will get a screen that will give you the option of selecting Safe mode Safe mode with networking Normal mode
  24. press F8 when you restart the computer
  25. You should boot into safe mode first Ben then run your virus scan. Delete the files that the scan brings up. (if you don't do it in safe mode some of the files may be used by Windows and you won't be able to delete them properly and they will come back) and also whilst in safe mode go to regedit then Navigate to the keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunServices HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOLE In the right pane, delete the value: "win32" = "winhost.exe" then close regedit
