  1. beautiful - perfect
  2. The lines of a 32 and 34 are very different and each one is best left alone, Nissan got it right the first time around.
  3. Now that is ugly :\
  4. Has to be a 180B fer sure...
  5. Contact Xforce themselves, or one of the listed retailers on their site.
  6. I wouldnt hold my breath for the 3.5" version. Theyve been saying theyre 'gunna' produce the 3.5" version for a long, long, long time now... I've no idea why this is so, you'd think it'd be a simple thing to do given all their other products and facilities.

  9. Actually, so does the first But damn... the more I look at the first pic, the more I like it. R32s can look sooooooooo good when not over-done.
  10. I really liked the 'before' colour combo (blue bonnet). Different and just plain looks good. Your 'after' R34 conversion looks good on the 4 door, much better than on the 2 doors for some reason?
  11. OMG... please sell me your bumper!
  12. I did basically the exact same trip again yesterday (except didnt go up Mt Wellington), as I had to pick up my Mum from Hobart airport
  13. $800 is bloody cheap for a rebuild alright
  14. Sorry for the slow reply - I'm not getting any email alerts like I'm supposed to be... Yeah, I'd like to be all DIY one day, but I've never done any engine work before and I'm a bit too obsessive about having everything perfect on the 34. I'd sure save on costs as you say though! I should buy an old clunker, pull the engine down and re-assemble it just for the experience/confidence, then I'd probably be a lot more confident about rebuilding the RB25 Also yeah, power FC here so thankfully at least there are a few more people around that can tune those.
  15. Sound nice I've often thought about a 25/30 - how much did the bottom end cost, if you don't mind me asking? Is your 25 head stock? Probably not if you already had 300KW I suppose... If I could achieve a lazy 300RWKW, I'd be pretty content with that - for a while anyway Cheers
  16. What are the dimensions of the boxes pls?
  17. Well done, is that still on stock cams by any chance? I'd like to reach 300RWKW and then call it a day (famous last words, lol) and would be very pleased if I can achieve that without resorting to new cams while at the same time not over-stressing the engine. Might be a bit of a big ask though...
  18. Tnx
  19. Must be an old photo, since it's parked next to a Shell bowser
  20. At least you got some cooperation I suppose... good luck with it mate, keep posting about it here and there as often other people have come across the same guy elsewhere and can help join the dots. Looks like I just saved myself $180 because I read a post on Usenet (not even a web based forum) about somebody with a particular bank account ripping people off, not car related at all. So it all helps. Touch wood in my hundreds of online deals I havent been ripped off - yet! Good luck!
  21. That really isnt good at all Being a mod can be a thankless task etc etc - but if a mod isnt willing to make the effort - especially on something serious like this - then don't be a mod any more I say.
  22. I hope you didnt see me on the Midland Hwy. I was... erm, a bit over the speed limit somewhat, very keen to get home and relax by then
  23. Hmm... could've been? The fuel receipt says I went to BP in Nth Hobart, I saw the white 33 going in the opposite direction but didnt notice the wheels. Looking at the photo info, the last pic was taken at Mt Wellington @ 1:52PM, too bad it'd wouldve been good to meet you
  24. I feel for you, I lived in Brissie for a couple of years (2000-2002) and yeah - not many good driving roads around there come to think of it. You need to go up the coast a bit to around Maleny or maybe south of the border?
  25. Yeah, did that one only a few days after arriving actually... had to go all the way to bloody Westbury just to pick up the cat from the cattery Wridgways decided to use! As you say its a good drive, on the day I was lucky because once I got that last really windy stretch (just after Scotsdale) there were only 6 slow vehicles all bunched up together, and I managed to pass them all in one go on what was probably the only straight bit of road... gotta love that RB power When I first arrived here, I freaked out a bit about how much loose gravel and stones there seems to be on even the sealed roads (Tasman Hwy in particular). Was even considering selling the R34 because I know it'd drive me nuts each time theres a new stone chip, but now that I've driven the 3 main routes out of St Helens it doesnt seem as bad as I thought it'd be (or I'm just getting used to it I just need to keep reminding myself it's only paintwork... the rest of the car will be fine Still, I've never seen so much damned gravel on what are otherwise good roads before, and I've been just about everywhere in Aus and just came from another country area on the mainland. I dunno why they seem to do that here? Case in point was the main road through Fingal, they had just resurfaced the road about 4 weeks ago - and I'm not kidding - they had put at least a 1cm thick layer of loose gravel over the whole stretch. I was driving through there at walking pace, hoping like hell no one would pass me too fast, lol.
