Well I certainly liked the Nur! I was talking to the owner (sorry I've already forgotten his name - I'm shit at remembering names!) and he was saying he just happened to come across it and didnt even realise it was anything particulary special when he bought it?! It sure nice and clean, not overly modified in appearance. Nice.

I didnt do a count, but I'm pretty sure there were easily 30 cars at a minimum. There were at least 20 cars at the Eastern Creek truck stop alone, and I noticed many more at the tea rooms ... not to mention the unmarked cop car (white Commode)...

Hi All, I'd like to thank everyone involved in organising this cruise & everyone who turned up on the day, I had a great time smile.gif Only problem (if you wanna call it that) is that I never figured out who was who from this forum, ah well! I'm flat out getting ready to move but can't wait to check out all the pics and posts later... I also took a few and will upload when I get time. I see mention of the video - I'd love to see some - I spotted somebody videoing us leaving the tea rooms - that'd be quite something to see. (Not sure if anyone overtly hooned at this stage or not). Anyway, I can understand why it's not a good idea to put some of the video up for anyone to view... maybe there is another way we can do this? I had a video cam set up in my car but I stuffed up the positioning a bit - plus it moved from all the vibration - so you get a good view of me driving but not much from out the windscreen ermm.gif My car was fine on the day, except on the way back my seatbelt unbolted from the floor - too much vibration along the last leg near the tea rooms I guess! Couldnt agree more, you never know the quality of their tanks etc. Some look decidedly dodgy. Down around Wollongong many of the 'big' servos don't sell 98RON at all - even when it is available :\ It was only last week that I tried Vortex 98 as there was nothing else around 98-wise and my car seemed to like it as much as BP Ultimate. I'll need to fuel up at that Caltex stop once I get there because I'll have already travelled 140 kays Why am I still awake? lol... The Met Bureau says at this stage: Sunday A few showers developing. Ah now that figures! I was sideswiped about this time last year in my Suby - at the time I just so happened to have a video camera lying on the floor so naturally I started recording the scene. There was a patrol car less than 50 metres down the street, so they arrived straight away. The officer who was obviously in charge went bananas at me for keeping the camera running. I've been trying to find the specific laws on this but havent had any luck as yet. Anyway, they were mighty keen to leave the scene until I pointed that the other guy had been drinking (I could smell it a mile away). They were a lot more interested then and yes he was done for DUI and neg driving

This only gives me even more of a reason to install an in-car video recording system. Having been rear-ended and side-swiped on two separate occasions in the past 5 years spurred the idea... and with greater and greater discretionary powers given to police etc, makes this idea even more appealing to me.
