  1. Will have to double check mate but i'm pretty sure its between 65-70 at the moment.
  2. Beast going well not missing a beat..Getting itchy feet for a E85 tune but what you think?
  3. Yeah plenty enough power to have a bit of fun with. When i first had mine tuned at 16psi trailing to 14psi it made 259. With the extra 2 psi its now making 274 with AFR's around 11.5 so very safe you should pick up around the same so definately worth doing.
  4. Sounds like a plan, you going to running anymore boost or are you happy where its at. Top bokes down there at aussies always willing to help.
  5. Nice work mate very linear power graph. I'm running a 10psi actuator and mine hits 18psi trailing of to a tad under 16psi. Did you get that dyno'd at Aussies?
  6. Please let us in on your secrets to making a genuine legal 400rwkw or 230rwkw for that matter out a GTT skyline. I'm intrigued to say the least.
  7. I'm running stock airbox on my 33 (K&N Panel Filter) with a HKS3037 at 18psi and making 274rwkw. I seriously don't think they are as big a restriction as you might think..
  8. Excellent turbo for the 25. I'm running one with a .68 rear and supporting mods making 274rwkw @ 18psi on a DD dyno (power mode not shoot out) on BP Ultimate. I don't find lag an issue either just make sure you get a decent tune for off boost driveability and not just outright power.
  9. Sound like good neighbours to have.......
  10. I'm running the Gizzmo IBC with four settings for Boost/Gain and can't speak more highly of the unit. Very easy to install and the actuator is quite compact compared to Blitz etc.
  11. I second that motion.
  12. I ran anywhere between 10-12psi for just over a year and when i pulled the turbo off it was in excellent condish still. Mind you the car was running standard boost before that with only a cat back zorst (which got boring quite quick).Have a look at the RB25 upgrade thread that should give you a good idea of what your car should be producing. My car for instance with Blitz FMIC Turbo back zorst, EBC made 188rwkw @ 11psi.
  13. I know of a bloke running a Gizzmo IBC EBC and the actuator is quite compact and easy to put in an appropriate area out of the way. I will keep my thoughts on officers pulling people over for no good reason to myself me thinks.
  14. Sorry to hear VU your car is seriously clean, goes to show it doesn't matter what condish your car is in only needs to be an import. What size boost solenoid are you running Dual Stage Blitz? Officer Neil strikes again what a legend
  15. I got standard lines here live in West Lakes area. Can borrow for a couple of days if you like.
  16. Cams can make you go backwards not set up properly (not saying yours are but your set up definately sounds lacking in the response area if you are considering a smaller turbo).....KW aint the be all and end all IMO Torque is, and I know from my own experience i went from 6200 Tractive effort on the dyno to 6800 just with 2 psi with a 3037 and would not look back, absolutely awsome turbo for a 25. Take what you will from what i have achieved but just remember this is the biggest turbo HKS does for a 25 and they are known for performance and response.....So for a reliable 250 very very easily i would recommend a HKS3037 and then if you get bored(and you will everyone does chuck a couple more psi into it and knock on 300's door) Try doing that with a GTRS or similar. I can't stress enough that a decent tune plays a huge role in your outcome.
  17. I'm running a HKS 3037 also and found the turbo a bit doughey after my first tune. Since then i have had it re-tuned it with a Datalogit and wideband and the car feels ten times better down low (not to mention the extra top end surge courteousy of 2 an extra psi). The common problem with most tunes (in my experience anyway) is the tune is for outright power only and some tuners miss the most important part of light-medium throttle/loads when coming on to boost. Before my retune my car was slow coming on to boost in second which i put down to the bigger turbo but since we have tuned for cruise speed/light -medium throttle imputs its a different car, very lively and comes on to boost in an instant. Oh BTW my car runs 18psi and makes 274rwkw with the AFR between 11.5-11.7 under full load and spot on 14.7AFR at cruise.
  18. Still standard motor (unopened) running a nice safe tune.
  19. Still running BP Ultimate and Adrian is wanting to tune E85 (hence the post) in the old girl i'm just a bit put off with availability of the fuel at the moment The torque has jumped from 6200 to 6800 tractive effort so definately a nice push in the back.
  20. Definately considering it Adrian.......After going for a ride in your beast it has got me thinking maybe in the new year we can sort it out with my current mods if your keen.
  21. Now with new tune and running 18psi 273.9rwkw
  22. Got a retune yesterday by a well known member off this forum with a wideband and Datalogit now running 18psi and made 273.9rwkw on Aussies Dyno Hindmarsh today (previously 258 on their dyno). Cheers mate
  23. I run BP Ultimate and my top end map is running between 12-14 ignition timing any more and it would detonate. I think you will find most PFC maps with skylines running decent boost will be very similar,I'm running 18psi with a 3037.
  24. When males call females mate has always annoyed me........Other than that the word mate is all good.
