  1. Hey Andrew thanks for adding me to the list so quick. I will be bringing Michelle so can you put me as +1....Thanks
  2. Don't think the manifolds are holding you back.... I'm still running the standard ones at 350 odd rwkw and as before mentioned (5 or so posts back)smaller turbo
  3. Thats intersesting i would have thought that turbo be good for 380+ on E85 considering my little HKS 3037 .68 has seen 350 on numerous dyno's.
  4. Good luck with it Nytsky, you have spent the money where it counts so i'm sure you will get the results your after.......Keep us all posted on the results won't ya.
  5. Getting greedy are we......35R is suited to a 3L imo, is yours 3L cant remember?????Altho my mates 25 with a 3582 is pretty awsome (top end to burn) i'm sure you will be more than happy.
  6. Maybe he's comparing his RB20 to the vehicle in his profile. As for 20 vs 25 thats an absolute no brainer the 25 hands down, in fact the SR20 is a torquier engine than the 20 been proven time and time again.......6 Pack hemi is the only NA i'd consider in a six for performance, absolute torque kings.
  7. With the current turbo combo it has been tuned to E85 only. TBH cant see him even considering 98 at this stage with E85 available at the pump again in SA. I hear what you are saying about more power=more lag and for that reason i'm keeping my HKS3037 on my car also at 2.5 litres. A 3 litre would be nice one day tho with a XR6 turbo 1.06 rear and .7 front. Would make some decent power on E85 i would think (pipe dream at the moment). Or i could tune the BF to E85 and have the 2 tunes on my XCal (pump and E85)could be a cheaper option but a broken daily doesnt sit too well with me.
  8. Theres a user on here pushing 380rwkw (mainline dyno)on a stock engine which he tunes (the car has been running e85 for well over a year now). Theres no doubt theres 400 in it. The top end of this car is really something else.....The fuel is very forgiving its awsome stuff.
  9. Personally i wouldnt push my RB25 past 280rwkw on pump fuel. My XR6T is happy as a p*g on 16psi and 327rwkw pump fuel (something to be said for cubic inches i guess).
  10. Personally for that power level and stock engine i would be running E85 and the following mods. 3037 on standard exhaust manifold with 18psi can Power FC or Vipec (alot of users rave about the vipec) Sard 850 injectors Bosch 044 internal pump Standard inlet Manifold Decent Boost controller Blitz LM cooler (retains stock inlet piping) Z32 AFM Real good exhaust 3.5inch On 20 ish psi you should see upward of 320rwkw with a good tuner. Heres a dyno graph of my mates R33 and mine, his in Red and 3582 turbo... my car in blue running HKS3037. Oh and a pic of my engine bay to show how stealth you can have it all looking.
  11. Or get a gearbox full of third........ 2 points higher i would have thought be richer too....Alls i know is that fuel will not be going in my daily ever again....E85 on the other hand hmmmm....
  12. Yeah they are only 1800kg lol as heavy as a Pajero or there abouts. Bet hey for its weight it does ok.
  13. Wouldnt of put in there if i didnt ask the tuner first, he said go for it so i did and it was crap.
  14. Interesting you say that i put nearly a tank full in my XR6T running 16psi and it ran like a POS.
  15. Thats excellent thanks for the heads up Could almost use the skyline as a dailly at $1 per litre
  16. I thought it would be normal for people to have a daily when owning a Skyline or similar.
  17. Pete Dont want the likes of Adrian, Chad and co not bringing their big power beasts for something thats so easy to rectify. Lets face it everyone wants to see the 300+ kw cars on the rollers.....The sound of a big power RB is music to the ears.
  18. I agree to a point but whats to say your car pulls fine the first run, then all of a sudden your pump decides to die as it starts to pull on the second run...... I dont know about you but i would prefer the dyno operator to have the option of pulling out when the AFR's head skyward rather than not knowing. Just a bit of insurance and lets face it's not hard to put the probe in there. As Ruby said this was the first SAU-SA DD and was a success well done to everyone involved.
  19. Definately dissapointing there was no AFR read out, considering Dyno tuners rely on this information to tell what the engine is doing and is safe to continue or not. When your car was getting run up and was sitting on 5-6000 rpm (well sounded that high anyway) for what seemed like an eternity i was just shaking my head thinking WTF, definately dont blame you for feeling the way you do. I'm with Chad if the next DD is there i will be a spectator only, the Line can stay in the shed...... Cara, just a suggestion but KPM have a really good set up really clean workshop large screen to watch the runs and plenty of parking out the front, maybe worth a look next time.
  20. Cara good work with organising the day it was very well run indeed.....Don't stress over the trophy he has it.
  21. Haha yeah still running standard zorst and inlet mani's and engine has not been opened as yet touch wood . 9 months now on E85 and this power touch wood.
  22. Yeah i hear ya just wish my engine bay looked half as good as yours
  23. 3037/3076 definately good size turbo for the 25 especially with E85 on board.
  24. Nice work Nytsky. Interesting to see the .82 worth 7ish rwkw extra compared to the .68 HKS (all dyno's being equal of course) at 23psi. What sort of extra timing was the car happy at with E85? Holding boost a lot nicer now too with the controller
  25. Yes and Yes At the end of the day if the engine says enough is enough well then its time to reach in the back pocket for a full house rebuild, but until then if it aint broke.......
