Just an update for those interested, i have noticed this thread has been a bit quiet of late. I have sold the 555's and in the process of purchasing SARD 850's (should receive mid next week). Also purchasing 24psi actuator off a fellow member which i should recieve early next week also. POD filter has just been bolted back on. Be interesting to see how it goes holding the 24psi boost with plenty of fuel and air. Adrian will be tuning again (your a legend mate whats this make it 5 or so now). If it feels noticeably different it will getting run up on the same dyno again. If not it can wait til next months dyno comp.

I've been defected once (12 months ago now, gee time flys) and it was for a BOV that was there when i bought the car (from a car yard and the car was just complied). Most Skylines out there making anymore than 150-180rwkw are defectable (and last i looked yours was making 300 odd) so yours may be approved with a 26 but far from legal. I guarantee you pop my bonnet and think its a 150rwkw weapon too but i guarantee i could end up with a canary in no time if the boys in blue felt that way inclined. Luck has alot to do with it IMO. Either way good to see your beast making the numbers (318 right) on Willalls dyno gotta be happy with that.....

I bet you wouldn't be so positive if you copped one, hows about a bit of compassion for those that did. After all everyone was there for the right reasons knowingly putting their rides at risk. My car is defectable and i guarantee its safer than most standard cars 5 years its senior.

Fair enough for being a hero to be defected. If you think the cops that were cruising through were not somehow responsible for the defect station your dillusional. Oh and i was there paying attention til 7pm hence me leaving, read my post. Either way hats off to the organisers big turn out once again.

Well i rocked up at 6:30 an the Mrs realised she forgot her smokes, so drove to the hotel to grab a pack. Decided after seeing that cop car circling to give it a miss. Luckily i did by the looks of it. Police should be ashamed of themselves, disgraceful considering the cause everyone was there for.

I definately agree with you there Matt. Dry heat is easy to climatise, nothing worse than sweating 24/7.

Vipec are very good from what i have read, its many years the PFC junior which is alot in technolgy terms. Would be dissapointing if it wasnt a decent leap forward. That being said i'm more than happy with my pfc and dont see the point in spending the extra coin in upgrading.
