  1. So does anyone know a 7670 result out there that makes it a no brainer decision? I have spent this morning again cruising google and can only find one old article which supports what i was saying about the SR20 comparison. http://blog.perrinperformance.com/borg-warner-efr7670-turbo-exposed-and-tuned-part-2/ I did see some good results on a std EVO X ... i think i am going to stick with what i got
  2. Had these laying around forever but sold my RB26 head years ago and never going to build one so. Bought these off yahoo auctiins and are meant to be Apexi V-Max retainers. Honestly they are new but they look like std to me but cant be sure unless i have them side by side with std. From whatbi can see from pics and jap mags they are a matching colour for Apexi retainers. Either way...take them off my hands $100 delivered
  3. Perfect for any EFR, Precision, Garrett or Trust turbo that has a 4" inlet. Even better if you run MAP as it means you are sure to get plenty of air into the turbo with little power loss due to less surface area of inlet filters. Was to be used with my T67 but sold my Greddy setup $180 plus delivery. Located in Melb
  4. The car looked to be a well sorted bit of kit...it was a std bottom end but ran full bolt on Full Race manifold, twin gates etc on a neat S15. Its one result...so not right to judge. That EVO is a bit looneybin that its a stroker and big boost. The 7670 may not be the gun conbination thatvthe likes of 8374/RB26s are. I look around and there are very few SR results with EFR turbos so i just dont know...i had hoped it would blow away a GT3076...i just need to see more results for the 7670
  5. And now a lift on the radio ban...muppets cant make up their minds. I can't believe these ppl get paid a fortunre to run this show. Now we have to listen to engineers telling Lewis what gear to be in and where to brake whilst Sky tell us how awesome he is for using every tool at his disposal. Real WDC stuff whilst any other driver receiving coaching is a hack and not capable of driving the car
  6. Well next to an SR20 running an XR6 turbo it wasnt all that flash....i think the thing with EFR turbos do they really perform that well on 20-22psi? They seem to like 26-32psi which on my Cossie runnin 98 i am not keen on running hugh boost, even though it runs 28psi now.
  7. Yeh, I dont see anyone else on the grid worth signing up ahead of next year. That other German is doing well but you only have to look at him next to his team mate at Manor and you can see he is no way ready for the seat next to Hamilton....it would destroy him
  8. That makes sense thrn. I have seen Full Race twin gate 7670 setup on an SE20 a (std S15) with cans and on 98 or E85 it was enough to turn me off...didnt make power or response to write home about. Partly why i am looking at a 7163 for my 2L YB Cosworth
  9. Am i missing something? What mods to the engine? That leaves any SR20 7670 result I have seen for dead!
  10. I am easy pleased. I enjoyed the race. Had some tension and enough tough, hard close racing to keep me entertained.
  11. Yeh, slowly getting it together. I am slowly slapping it all back together including some new little projects that I am keen to try. Also selling off all th ebits off my built RB25 while its healthy to help fund the new engine I am piecing together. The recent Euro trip to Monaco and tom-foolery hurt the budget so still slugging away with a small spend per month. Hope to have it back on the road tuned with the new Kinda surprise motor by Xmas and summer. Lol wanted to put A/C back in the car so used that as silly justification for a new engine
  12. It is up for sale as I am slowly taking out the built RB25 that is currently in my car and selling parts as they come off. Was polished silver... But when swapping out the RB20 for the RB25DE (uses all the same bolts ons as the RB20) i got a little carried away with red crackle paint so manifold is currently red. The only changes in the below plots are the PLazmaman plenum and a change from a HKS Type S intercooler to a larger ARC GTR Cooler. As you can see on the RB20 I lost response but you can see up top at red line it doesnt nose over meaning if you are willing to rev over 7,000rpm for the last 1,000-1,500rpm you can make more up top. If you run E85 then the manifold is a good upgrade as it allows you to wind in boost and ignition and powers holds on up top Or if you run a larger turbo like below, (change from TD06 to T67) then again you can see by the shape of the curve it comfortably holds on up top despite boost falling way off due to no EBC running at the time ASKING $520, located in Melbourne
  13. LOL, Lauda certainy is a no BS guy and you wonder whether he is over Lewis. Coming out and telling media that he trashed a Merc roomafter losing out in quali to Nico and telling the world he is simply lying about his relationship/respect with Nico is probably telling us something

  15. My money is on being the most boring GP of the year
  16. What tyres do you run on your GTR Duncan? I noticed a lot of different going from RE55s to AO50s and i need way more spring with the AO50s, or a lot more camber etc because of the roll the car developed and hammering outside corner. I feel I already have enough camber so spring is the obvious choice. Also, I suppose those springing the money for MCAs doing "track work" may these days have abit of aero as well meaning they probably running more spring
  17. LOL. I hear you. Just like all the posts saying not to use Tomei/HKS/Jap when none offer NEO springs either I am going Perforance Valve springs and retainers simply because I am hoping they aren't any worse than new std OE NEO RB25DET springs. If I could afford Ferrea (Part no. S10078 dual springs and require their Ti retainers to be used) I would hand over the cash, but given my engine is only running small 252 Tomei cams the main reason for wanting springs is boost is expected to be up around 26-28psi and revs around 8,800-9,000rpm and guess std springs may not be the greatest at those revs, boost and expected power at that level
  18. Is the Kando H the Trust TD06SH? If so i think the 10cm will be good on an RB30 and be about perfect for the rev range to 7,200rpm of an RB30
  19. It didnt help we got belted in the Rugby and living next door to MCG-AAMI stadiums i had to put up with all the England fans all Sat night
  20. Post up pics of the rotor, bolt number and PCD. Odds are they are Biot
  21. I am just a prick. I dont like how the Sky F1 commentators are so one eyed and Ant always calls rubbish to support any English driver. I wouldnt have been able to watch any of the remainder F1 coverage as I would have had to listen to LeMans winner Ant yadda yadda. There was a funny moment mid-late Le Mans when a commentator rightly gave Ant a compliment and then the other English commentator starting BSing on about how clearly he was the fastest driver in the car. The other commentator pulled the guy up and stated "that they all equally do a great job, one is no faster, better than the other" . But minutes later he again said Ant was clearly the fastest Toyota driver only for the other commentator to pull him up and say on speed along Kobi had proven to be the quickest over the week. Its just an English commentator thing as a rule. Buemi is a gun and he never gets a mention by them. I am just over the English love in, just as much as I am over "Australia's Mark Webber"..."Oz's Danny Ric" etc etc. LOL, I am a miserable bastard at the moment
  22. Discovered another good feature of the GoPro. Its replaceable case. Gave my Radcam another go on a recent holiday and in an open top car the glass lense has now picked up a few scratches/chips from stones etc and its not causing blotting on what used to be pretty goo quality video
  23. Eat shit Davidson...sorry to Seb and Nakajima but you get that when your teammate is a tool
  24. Eat shit Davidxon anf Hamilton Predictably Sky are saying we need to look at radio ban, yet 18 months ago they were saying to ban it and sledging Nico for using advice grom pit wall...he cant dive the car without tuition....vs Lewis doing the same thing being talked about as genius and WDC stuff for using every tool at his disposal Yet tonight Nico had the same problem and cleared it whilst Lewis went on a sooking session
