  1. Fark me...now BBC has walked from F1
  2. No free to air definitely hurts. Lack of money to teams and circuits hurts. Freezing the most influential aspect of car performance is retarded Free up engine development...limit teams to four floor and wing combos per year and CVC take a sane amount of miney each year and invest in their business. Pretty simple really. I dont think the engines or rules are that far away.
  3. A few people have been asking for more recent pictures
  4. I so want to listen to it and rag on him...but meh....better things to be doing....like building an R32 of extraordinary magnitude
  5. Louise copping loads in the face off his boyfriends Harry...
  6. LOL, i stated an opinion... Say what you want about temp ratings. I am not arguing as I have no idea what their temp ratings are. My gripe is I don't like the pedal feel and they require a load of pedal effort. Best analogy is wooden. My comment "I do loathe EBS green, red and yellow pads. Some like them but i think for track they are actually a rather rubbish performing pad, with poor feel to boot. But they are cheap and perfectly fine i guess for a spirited street car You say we run lots of cars..do you work at a brake place? Where? Not being a smart ass but have you driven similar cars with different pads to actually compare how they feel and perform with.
  7. Its always good practice to either support/bracket both ends so there is no tension in the cooler or put some allthread throught both facesand put a nut either side of the flange faces to stop the cooler from distorting with heat, load and vibration. If they are in an easy to see spot bot a big deal but over the years have seen a few cooler split and dump oil over the track etc as they were not in visible spots to see the distortion from poor supported cooler installs
  8. Sadly nobody in F1 listened to my recommendations from their survey. But seems WEC are listening http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/122185
  9. Did people watch the post race Sky broadcast? If you see Rosberg interact with the team and Hill/Herbert etc you do get the sense that that team warm to him...Lewis rightly or wrongly seems a lot more private with the team where as when Rosberg wins the mechanics always seem to enjoy it more with Rosberg And, again righty or wrongly Rosberg is IMO the more genuine with his emotions. When Homo plays up he pretends to be upset or has to pretend to be happy.. I think Saward hit the nail on the head when I heard him speak at the start of the year. Homo doesnt know who he is or what he wants to be other than probably the most talented guy on the grid You only have to listen to the final press conference of the year to see why perhaps the mechanics warm less to Homo is Lewis says the team made the decision re the tyre for the final stint...hinting they held him back . Whilst engineers and team can be heard on the radio asking what tyres does he want to run and Lewis simply ignores the question on the radio so the team made the decision (which just happens to have been the right deision based on Vettels performance on the super soft)
  10. They do look a load better on dark colored cars and Silvias. They looked ok on my silver R32 GTSt but nowhere near as good as they did on a black 180sx
  11. Talk is the single cylinder prototype yielded improvements. But as RBR were the ones that paid/introduced Illien they are disputing it is their IP and want to own it. I understand that is largely why Renault are kicking on with their own developments and it seems RBR will use the Renault motor as the basis with the Illien tweaks Also, the talk is its the atual engine and turbo that is weak with the Renault and the energy recovery majic works well I wonder if Louise can turn the switch back on next year or whether he will go to sleep now he has 3 x WDCs. Mercedes will have us believe development tweaks have moved the car in Rosbergs favour but surely Louise spending too much time in hotel rooms with C-grade rappers and F grade groupies has more to do with it
  12. Nothing wrong with DS2500 feel. They are a good work horse pad at a reasonable price. I think there are better pads out there but until you suss what you are doing long term they are a good fill gap measure. I do loathe EBS green, red and yellow pads. Some like them but i think for track they are actually a rather rubbish performing pad, with poor feel to boot. But they are cheap and perfectly fine i guess for a spirited street car
  13. DO NOT RUN ANY EBC PADS!!!!! if you like i can cut some planks of wood you could run that would work a tad better. Jus get some DS2500 work horse pads for the rear
  14. Always taking a different path
  15. Do you know what pads you have in the front vs rear ? Personally i would get someone to record with a camera the car under a full noise stop from 120km/h and see the pitch you have in the car. Then set all shocks to full hard and repeat. Then leave front shocks on full hard and rear suspension on full soft... After each try to understand if there are any dufferences in the feel of how the car is stopping
  16. Bump $400 for the turbo with no housing or $600 with a T3 housing and wastegate actuator so you can start to bolt it on to yuur RB20 For those not familiar with the size of the turbo think the biggest std turbo that Mitsubishi put on the Evo 3. So being an RB20 it wont be as responsive as an EVO but its not exactly a big turbo for a 2L and would expect it to be a little laggier than an HKS 2530 but also make 15-25rwkws more than a 2530
  17. Item: Volk GT-P rims Rears are 17 x 9 +22, fronts are 17x8 +16. Good to fair condition. Friend has been using them and cleaned them up so now look better than in the pics attached. 17x9 17x8 Price $1,100 if you are going to low ball or $1,000 if you want my best price
  18. First things first. What shocks and spring rates are you running? What tyres brand and sizes are you running? What wheel alignment are you bashing around the track on? What ride heights front and rear are you running Lastly what pads are you running front and rear? If you are trying to get a brake setup that ensure the car is settled under big stops then its best to make sure you are looking at the right thing. 7 times out of 10 if you want to shorten braking distances or improve braking stability it will be tyres and suspension.
  19. What rotor diam are your k-sport? What exactky is wrong with the current brakes
  20. Personally i would be keeping the ABS so that you are less likely to flat spot tyres
  21. Fingers crossed that car 17s luck holds out for this weekend!
  22. http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competition/lb/img/reinforcing/img_bnr34c.jpg See the white platic next to the right chassis rail near brake lines and fuel lins. It has the power canle from your battery in the boot to front fuse box...i want the tray, cable complete with lugs on either end
  23. Interesyed in flogging off the 12V cable and tray that runs under the car to the rear battery?
