  1. You cant get this up above the cradle where the std HICAS pump goes? Been considering one myself
  2. Would have been better to give them 10% more fuel and let them use full revs. Will make them a little louder but sort of stooopid as now all that energy is wasted and not harvested
  3. Muppets. A std Rb20 will make 270-280rwkws all day with a smart bolt on turbo on 98-100. Throw E85 at it and you can make 300rwkws reliably with 180rwkws at 4,000rpm a d about 18psi at 4,200 rpm. Some want more and thats cool. But 270rwkws makes for a perfectly drivable and powerful/fast car. Its no RB30 but perfectly drivable, usable and easy....AND reliable. It even runs low 12s in complete street trim.
  4. You are running a 324mm rotor with a spaced caliper? That could likely to be a contributor to the cracking due to pad being in a different offset to what it is designed for. You can end up withba higher than ifeal temp differential across the rotor face
  5. Funny...Fezz were nowhere with Kimi and Massa any Alonso challenged how many WDCs , won how many GPs and placed in the WDC vs team mates etc? McLaren have been rooted for years now Meanwhile, going to tough following Romain. Hope its a genius move and Fezz poach him on the departure of Kimi
  6. The racing from 8th thru 15th was pretty good. Damn Mercedes are just too dominant
  7. Listening to Radio Le Mans...giddy up Mark, Timo and Brendon
  8. Love reading about long term cars!
  9. So you haven't actually run the turbos since buying them? Just had them inspected? Did you ask why they were rebuilt and by who? I think I am mostly interested in the HKS pipes so will keep an eye out of the pics
  10. Hope so...away with work with no Foxtel so just paid $50 to get Play for the weekend...and stuck working so cant even watch the WEC race like I had planned. Webber killing it at the moment and comfortably in the lead
  11. Really, you put your old DBA rotors on and the shudder went away? As Duncan said, put a gauge on it and check the rotor for run out. Takes 10mins and you don't even need to take the wheel off the car, just jack it up. Secondly, get a crow bar in there and lever that bad boy and check for flogged out king pin bearings. I know that's what was causing my shudder under brakes.
  12. Shoot me a PM with bank details...i will take the carbon R32 N1 boot spoiler
  13. Sooo wrongs that i'ts RIGHT!
  14. Good to see a neat 32 getting some love!!!! If you are not hard on gearboxes the std gearbox will be fine as long you keep good oil in it. Mine lived for over 10 years at around 260rwkjws and lasted 18 months at 310rwkws and then the last 6 months with an RB25 and T67 making 330rwkws in front of it. That gearbox had 220,000kms on it and I gave it to a friend to mod the bellhousing and put behind his GTX3071 SR20....it still lives and he is popping driveshafts. So don't smash gears, don't clutch kick and use Castrol Syntrans and there is every reason why your gearbox will last happily at the power you are making. Just keep good fluids in the engine and with a good quality tune with your current setup at 18psi the engine will last forever! Just flog the guts out of it and enjoy it. If you must go bigger power I suggest you look closely at the FP based turbos with compressor wheels around the 68mm size size. Will flow 300rwkws with E85, about 280rwkws on 98 and 20psi. 20s don't mind boost provided they are tuned well as they have good solid pistons, plenty of wall thickness in the block and short stroke which means revs and boost don't hurt them near as much as the bigger RBs out there (and we know they don't struggle for reliability either so...) LOL...that is my $2.02 worth
  15. I bought some retro McLaren gear and get bombarded with spam from them now. All their gear is rubbish and fark Honda and their general shitness. Right up there with Toyota and their shitness.
  16. Your rear wing is similar to what I have sorted for my bus. I like it!
  17. But he is actually close to Alonso this year....may as well see it through whilst they are paying the bills. No way Porsche are going to bench any of their drivers to find a place for Button IMO.
  18. Ok, so need to start selling all the bits laying around since my car is in pieces at the moment. If I can get a buyer before I can be bothered to put it all back together then great - Genuine Trust T67-25G, near new. (10cm) Done less than 5,000kms in total. (Say $1,200) - 6boost manifold, done about 10,000-12,000kms (Say $1,000) - Trust Heat Shield (Say $150) - Turbosmart gate, same age as manifold (Say $300) - 3" stainless dump pipe (Say $200) - Inlet pipe (BOV return point) complerte with Z32 AFM and HKS filter. Also can com with twin 4" air filter pipe (below) if you want to run 2 inlet filters. (Say $500) - Quality braide oil supply and return line with sheathing (Say $100) - Can also supply E85 tune running Z32 AFM and 1000cc injectors to get you close to the mark on your setup and reduce tuning time As everyone claims the tune has more in it. This was just a tune to get a baseline result and get me back on the road. I was happy with the power it made so never hooked up boost controller and fixed my inlet pipe to the Plazmaman plenum that would have allowed me to go back and get the full tune at 20psi, with proper igition and fuelling. Still plenty of top end for what is effectively 16psi in the top end 3" Dump Spare Trust 4" Inlet. T67 runs a 4" inlet and my pipng used a solicon reducer to my 3" inlet pipe. Was going to run this when I put the new cooler pipe back in with R35 AFM rather than Z32 -Not a flogged out, worn used turbo kit. All in great condition with years of use ahead of it and as close to a bolt on high mount turbo kit you will find for your R32 GTSt. If you want to run on your RB20 you will need to ket the Kando T67 8cm housing off Ebay and frankly be prepared for woeful lag on the 2L At around 310rwkws on an RB20 the TD06-20G cant be beaten as its just the perfect size combo and I think the RB20 with 20G worked better in my car than the RB25 and T67 when you add up all the dollars. Asking $3200
  19. So stopped fre loading and need to get a decent welding helmet that doesnt cost the earth. Any ideas...auto darkening would be great but dont want to go blind using cheapy
  20. I suggest people look inside their tanks, I know the baffles in a 32 tank around the pick up will stop you from running a hydramat
  21. I am pretty sure Fatz is about the quickest of all the fellas posting in this thread!
  22. What a freak accident
  23. ...and if Renault do buy Lotus I hope they boot Paster and get Hulk in the seat. The team could do wnders wuth Bell and a bit more budget
