Now that he is d1cking a Spice Girl and has front row seats to kiss Bernie's ass he seemed to have forgotten himself there for a second. Why if you were in his shoes you would d1ck a Spice Girl and kiss Bernie's ass is concerning

I think people are missing some rather tasty RB20 turbo combinations out there by not thinking outside the box. Personally, if I had an RB20 and I wanted good mid range and grunt I would go one of these , depending on whether you wanted a tad more power or a tad more response. If you can run E85 and bump boost from 18-19psi to 22-23 psi then you would think it would be a bloody good setup for reasonabel dollars. Take one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbine-Housing-Kinugawa-TD05H-T517Z-T518Z-T3-8cm-AR61-V-Band-External-Gated-/281436442957?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4186eb514d Weld a Turbsomart 40m external gate to it and then grab one of these to slap in the housing and work on your std exhaust manifold. http://www.bptstore.com/Subaru-WRXSTi-TD05H-16G-XT-Turbocharger_p_23.html OR http://www.bptstore.com/Subaru-WRXSTi-TD05H-18G-XT_p_11.html With std inlet manifold, setup cam gears I think you would have a good setup with the durability of the RB20 that pulls some healthy revs and make better power response wise then the horrible hi-flows that are available for RB20s that dont seem to ever match the response of the my 20G setup and certainly no hope in hell of making the 310rwkws the 20G made Rememebr that std RB20s have pretty durable pistons and bloody strong rods and with such a short stroke the piston speeds and bottom end loads can handle a fair wach of boost safely. E85 gives you a nice safety blanket but a quality tune on 98, ideally United 100 will give you pretty damn good results IMO Turbo, housing and gate with modded dump etc woudl be 2k. Relatively straight forward installation and then just tune it up with Nistune, Z32 and some injectors. All up depending on what you do yourself and what you have to pay to get done you could have it all in and done for 4k ish. Frankly I wouldnt worry too much about the RB25 turbo upgrade...better off workign towards a better turbo setup as the CU and tuning is going to cost the bulk of the coin so may as well save until you can club it with a good turbo

Bathurst 2014 Tariff 2 Super Cars Discussion

Volvo! Please! Anything but Whincup or an FPR win...anything. -
Its car forum and I am a fan boy.

LOL, meters were rubbish but other teams had the same problems, but they suffered in silence and went with the proper procedure. RBR picked a fight and didnt follow the correct process and got burnt. RBR doing a hatchet job over the politics around the faulty meter doesnt mean the meters were not problematic. Says I

I think you will find that the manufacturer has innovated their behinds off and the units are now largely production ready....vs the start of the season when they were steaming pieces of shiza!
-
Honestly, with reliability, engine penalties and double points, I wonder if Seb not moving over for Dan will matter at year's end. He is 60 points behind Homo...shame he got robbed of his Melb points.
-
There is a lot to like about the ARK R32 GTR...but there is the obvious problem of function taking precedent over anything that looks remotely good.
-
The stupid thing is that 14 points between 1st and 2nd at the final race means that there is a very strong chance of whichever Merc driver wins there will win the championship. Imagine if you are Homo then going in with a 12 point advantage and way more GP wins then anyoen else this season and you dont win the WDC. Its pretty silly. It is rather shocking the reliability issues the Mercs are having. They are worse than RBR, McLaren, Fezz, Williams, FI etc when it coems to mechanical retirements. Good thing they are so damn fast. Pulling out a 25 second advantage on used tyres over about 10laps is pretty clear indication that they enjoy a huge pace advantage
-
Was also interesting to read Vettels comments about how he thought it was odd-risky for Homo to overtake him where he chose to rather then wait one more corner and a straight...Vettel said he had to kove over for him so to avoid risk of contact. Seems Homo just likes the drama

You need data from the car. Imagine Pastor gives you a tap in the first corner. 6 laps later you are going into a 6th gear 280km/h sweeper and your rear wing fails. Someone can be hurt of killed, spectators , marshalls....when if the pit could see that they had strange downforce readings they will pick up that the rear wing may be damaged. Ditto ERS systems. Can see for verious safety reasons they need to be able to monitor the health of the cars
-
NO! This car is about perfect in my eyes!!!! It is just about everything I have tried to do with my club street car only neater and tidier! LOL the only thing it msised was 8 pot Indycar brakes Shame to see it go, hopefully finds a good home!
-
LOL.. seems they have gone too far. I supose they need to be given a few race weekends to see how it goes. Charlie isnt quite that silly. though he did rob Disco Dan of points in Melbourne

Well here is hoping something falls Kimi's way

What makes you say the blocks fail/flog out? Most of the problems on the Sierras were turbo related and headgasket related. Followed by electrics/tune/ecu glitches. LOL, which usually meant the headgaskets went bang and they typically overheated. I don't know of too many instances where the blocks failed. Maybe in the RS days pre 200 series blocks but not in the RS500 and Group A rallying and circuit era

For now!

Ok, some good ideas in there but first things first. PADS MAKETH THE BRAKE SETUP! Secondly. Pads maketh the brake setup! Measure your std rotor thickness, if they are within spec dont waste your money buying new rotors. If its an R34 GTT then odds are you will still be ok for rotor thickness and quality of the std OE brake lines still ok. A master stopper is cheap and easy so why not. But, invest in good quality pads. Good pads give you better feel, fade resistance and stopping feel/bite. Something like Pagid R4-2, Ferodo 3000 , Endless CCX etc will be a huge improvement and still ok on the street. Remove the backing plates from the caliper-pads and you should be fine for squeal and whilst the wheel is off and you are changing pads give the lines a real good flush and bleed and remove the dust shields from behind the rotors. Something like RBF600, 660 is overkill buty still fine Did I mention brake pads make the brakes?

If they police it heavily it could sway things quite a lot. In the middle of a race if they are losing time to the car ahead they wont know if its because they are taking life out of tyres or they are slow in a sector. I am all for it. Its like cycling, team radio has taken away so much from the sport with breakaways and chasing pack all abreast of what the others are doing....take the gamble and individual strategy out of it. I think its a great move as the cars are no longer driven flat out lap after lap and its a race of reserved pace, which with pit radios makes it all prescribed from pit wall. This will be a rather large curve ball
-
LOL, what a HACK move! And, just walks away from the carnage he created. Dad needs to beat some sense into his brat son

I am referring to it in 2013. Whatever tune it was it flow past the GTS-Rs, Mustang and GTR. I catn recall if it was PI n 2011 or 2012 when I saw it lunch its engine

At last years Muscle Car Masters over Fathers Day weekend it was Lawlor hammering in the Caltex Sierra . He had the wick turned up for a few laps to charge back through the field after retiring from the earlier race. Was good to see a Sierra with the wick turned up. Most pot around in fear of lunching them (which is fair enough)

Really hope Alonso sticks it out at Ferrari and Vettel is the one that jumps at McLaren. Come on Eric, sign up the Sideshow Romain

I made sure when i grabbed my 5 point harness the buckle was on the waist strap so day to day can just run the 4 point. When doing motorsport events i could then use the crotch strap. With my Racetech seat and where my harnsesses are secured the thing doest ride up and with an upright seating position there is no way i am submarining. So i never even bother to use the crotch strap. Appreciate not all installations will be the same but rather than disagreeing with you more trying to point out it is still installation specific IMO
