Will take $1000 Also got a TD06-20g turbo with a 73HTA compressor. Is a tad more responsive than my old TD06-20G and makes more power. Asking $1,000 with a 12cm rear housing or $850 with no turbine housing, (this turbo has done dyno time and about 20kms street driving)

R32 Gtst Brake Problem (Please Have A Gander)
Roy replied to H@ME's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Its hard to know...but people change master cylinders and rarely have problems with soft pedals....but when people change calipers they often complain about spongey pedals. As someone posted you can damage the BC if you push the pedal all the way to the floor...but really you need to have scummy brake fluid and crap in there for that to be an issue. Its a problem for crap road cars, not generally a problem for well maintained Skylines. So, when installing new calipers... if you are positive there are no leaks in the caliper, and by leak in teh caliper you have removed the pad, perhaps even rotor and checked no fluid is coming out the piston boots/seals then here is what I suggest you do. Get worn pads or something similar in thickness and put them in. Pump the brakes up and give them a quick bleed with the pistons fully extended. Make sure you have dead pads or somethign same thickness in there as you dont want to push the pistons out. So once you have fully pushed the pistons out and put pad against rotor, open the bleed nipple with hose connected, and push the pistons all the way back into the caliper. More often then not you will see bubbles. If you do....that has been your problem Thinsg like usign old pads with the new calipers etc all hint that this may be the problem/ People that use new pads generally squeese the pistons all the way back when trying to squeeze in teh new pads and are more likely to displace any air that is sitting bhing the displaced pistons -
The driver weight thing is farking retarded. !!!!!!!!!

I think the two of you just showed why you are not competent enough to run F1. You never start negotiations by dropping your asking price. You start by promising value added performance derived from their 400k investment, not devaluing yourself. 400k is already a couple of billion dollar saving Seems NJ GP is about as likely as the USGP F1 team that Windsor was behind a few years ago. Another delay and another 19 race calendar. Should be going back to India for a 20 race calendar
-
And those douches Bernie and the FIA earns all the money for ruining the sport. For 400k a year I would travel the world making F1 awesome

Does it even need to be that elaborate? Make a car min weight exclude driver and then when you specify minimum dimensions for the cockpit you include a weight that uses ballast in the form of seat weight, both bum and backrest %) to control driver weight. DONE!

Thats the point...talking how McLaren are amazing...look at their funding, their drivers, their engine supplier etc ...for how many years were they effectively the Mercedes factory team.....yet constructors championships are as thin on the ground as Williams.
-
And you know what I think is wonderful about Williams and in particular Sir Frank? He brings new sponsors into F1. He refuses to poach sponsors off other teams. The reverse cant be said when sponsors are often attracted by other F1 teams with various dealings. Williams is a race team...McLaren did well to get newey when they did as they were in the wilderness and thankfully had tobacco money to recover from being clueless with those Pug engines etc. Williams have had various engineering tie ups with various road car manufacturers and lower formula teams. I recall part of the reason they wiped the touring car side of the business as they said it detracted from the main focus F1. I understand their technology dept is profitable... I did read an article about McLaren and how they have gone as an F1 team when they started branching out doing other things. How long has it been since they have won a constructors?

The maiden F1 test in a V10 car Vettel reminisced about at the AUTOSPORT Awards came in a BMW-powered Williamsin September 2005. The outing was a reward for his utter domination of the previous year's German Formula BMW championship. The then-18-year-old's running was delayed after Nico Rosberg - then Williams's test driver - had an engine failure in the car in the morning. But Vettel still managed 25 laps, ending up 3.4 seconds off the pace of race driver Mark Webber. Wouldnt it been wonderful ifWebz enjoyed that advantageat RBR

DJ, do a search. McLaren made quite a sizable loss last year when they had Vodafone and won GPs. I think they came 2nd in the WDC as well...and they still lost something like 20million

Nice vid. Is your speedo cable scaled right? If so damn that thing pulls like a train!

Just watching a James Allen interview with Webber...lol "advice for Daniel..." "Marks response "Kick his ass. I took him to the last race in 2010, he has to do one better " Flaming Champion. Cant wait to see him at Le Mans next year Also funny to see Alonso saying "we will see Mark next year supporting us.." and laughing at the suggestion he will be rooting for Alonso and not RBR. Cant help but suspect there could be some truth to the statement
-
Really...i quite like the sound of it
-
Maldanado....sigh. OH well. Will try andlook on the bright side....at least it gives the team enough money to allow them to build GOOD CAR FOR Romain
-
To Williams! Come on Ross! DO IT! He said he was only really interested in being Team Principal! Will stick it up Toto by going to the team he left and beating them using Merc powerplants!

Yeh, I have to say watching Alonso, Vettel, Kimi etc eek out the performance on the tyres is impressive. But frankly rather go back to watching them all rag on car lapo after lap and like of Lewis and co having ared hot go at each other rather than trying for 2 laps then backing off in fear of using too much tyre life No problem, make them use their tread depth and wear....but making the operating window so small and temperature dependant seems to be a backwards step

LOL, yeh hopefully there are a few good pics. I will be throwing soem coin at a commemorative/framed picture of it! I think after 19 races....there have not been too many where they occupy the same bit of track for the whole GP with neither having problems. In Brazil Vergne had a Webebr-esque start and that was it. He dropped it on teh last lap in US when the lap before I read he had a rushed lunge at Dan only to clip the Sauber a lap later. For a good part of the start of the year, on merit he looked the equal whilst Dan was having car problems. But when they were running he looked arguably the better pic but was hard to tell with poor pace of car and reliability. I think Dan has been damn solid post announcement when he could have been excused for dreaming for the remainder of the season when JEV mayhave got his chest out with something to prove. Has not worked out that way...and my boy Romain has been the kick ass Frenchman on the grid (ok Swiss-Frenchman) Good to read Webber pay Seb a compliment on his way out. ".... It's been a real pleasure for me to finish today's race like this. Yeah, and also to finish on the podium with arguable the two best guys of the generation we're in at the moment. I hold them in very high esteem. I'm happy with the finish and I'm happy to go and do something different now. It was a special day for myself"
-
And, again, whether Dan has improved his race pace or Jev lost the plot. Start side by side and Jev never a threat of a point. Interesting to see how he goes alonside Kyvat who looks damn quick
-
The podium was funny. And what a great moment to see Mark with his helmet off. I am hooked, going ot be hinting for the limited edition pic of that shot!. Cant wait to see him at Le Mans nest year. Austrian GP, Lemans and Goodwood means ery fe track days for me over the next 6 months

Q: (Patricia Sanchez - Motorpasion F1) Mark, already we ask you what are going to miss now you're leaving, is there something you're happy to leave behind, maybe us journalists? MW: .... You strike up good friendships with a lot of people, not just the drivers but other people. Obviously there's some shit magazines that have to do shit journalism and that's normal but in the end, you've got to deal with those as well but in general it's a good professional tennis match and that's how we always like to play it. MW, will miss him calling it how it is in 2014. Seriously hope he does some guest commentary from time to time

Personally, I would be sticking with Sauber over Force India. But obviously he has an idea of strengths of respective teams so doesnt look good for Sauber's prospects next year if Force India appear stronger on paper. Oh well, say goodbye to any hopes of Lotus having a good year. Maldando will be bending the car that often their factory will be working overtime to keep up with replacement parts let alone develop the car. I guess that means Di Resta is gone as well. Shame as the guy has some spunk and in hindsight McLaren would have been far better taking Di Resta rather than Perez last year. (or Hulk for that matter...still dont get the whole Perez thing unless a big part was potential Mexican coin)
