My thing was hilarious with the 8cm housings on the RB25 and 20G. It was fyn. Felt like a HKS 2530 on an RB25 but it fell over after 6,000rpm. Made for a very fast street car. I say give it a nudge...you may be surprisef -
Poor R32...how can she compete with such a beauty

My Kando is new so cant really comment. Having ran a TD06-20G 8cm and T67-10cm in my RB25 i petsonally suggest you get a 10cm housing fot your L2. On E85 eill make a fat 310rwkws...made for a way faster street car then the T67. The one PI day i did with the T67 it was a good thing good mud and strong top...but on the street the 20G was waaaaay punchier and pulled way harder in tbe mid to top...just lacked that extra 50rwks after 6,500rpm that the T67 happily saw up top to 8,000rpm -

Mate...a TD06-20G on a properly bolted together and tuned car was fast. A 6758 will be a good thing ...only i have never seen an RB20 deliver giod results on std exhaust manidolds so will be interesting to see how a 6758 goes -

Tired of 6poop T67 setup so sold it and slapping this together. Its crap...but at least im not part of the single turbo flat cap brigade -

Yeh. Now got twin -5s in what looks like an RB20DETT Even gone back to std inlet. Lol...have another motor but just want to play with the built 25DE a bit longer. Also easier for a buyer to hand over cash for an engine they can drive/listen/hear. Then just slap everything onto new motor which is VCT RB26 -

Std cams work just fine i.o. Some ppl make cams work for them others dont. For sure the $1000 in parts and tuning dont equate to a step change in performance imo. If its a street car just make sure you have cam gears. On std cams they made a bigger change then aftermarket cams. I reckon if i still had the RB20 with punchy power i would slap a 4.6 diff it....110 highway cruising would be a little more painful but imo gear the things like a rotary crown wheel and pinion cheaper than cams -
Which should I go with GTX2863, 2530, or 2860-5
Roy replied to Trailmix's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
So what turbine is your rebuilt turbos running? Still the 2510 turbine or full GTX2863 core in HKS housings? -
What brand manifold? Is it possible its how the gate is positioned?

Stoked for Hartley. Now lets see if he can put in a Lotterer style performance in his one off F1 appearance...who knows....STR cant be too excited about having Kyvat back in 2018

Piglet's Rebuild Of His Busted Tomei 2.8
Roy replied to Piggaz's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Because you confused the feck out of the oil and it has no clue where the feck it should go...so just sits in the engine feeling dejected -
vic BNR32 RB26 bottom end
Roy replied to Roy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I can slap it on a pallet....its only the cost that would be prohibitive -

Don't need this to stop the pallet from blowing away so nobody needs a block with a good crank in it for a rebuild? -

Ringwood in Melbourne -
BNR32 RB26 bottom end I have an BNR32 RB26 bottom end that was a std rebuild many years ago with new pistons and rings. A ring failed on cyl 1 meaning it has a slightly scored bore. Bores have plenty of meat in them so can easily handle an oversized piston. Comes with rods, and pistons but no sump. The crank was balanced with a Tomei extended oil drive installed when it was rebuilt. Did something like 3,000kms before the ring failed. Asking $350 pick up

As per above....BUMPY: Will take $2,000 for the Alcons and rotors rotors. Also have rear std R33 GTR upper and lower suspension arms for $50 each (traction, camber and LCA) Also have R32 rear end bits for $50 each, inc LCA and hubs ex HRT Momo seat EX Holden Racing Team (HRT) seat out of Jason Bright's 2002 car for ride days. I ran this seat in my track car for a few years and one weekend at Phillip Island Jason Bright was good enough to sign the seat for me The seat is a Carbon Kevlar Momo race seat. Back in the day it was a $4,500 seat and about the best strength-weight proposituon you could buy. The left hand side head restraint was trimmed to suit the HRT roll cage ( see pics) The past number of years i have kept the seat for my simulator setup but just don't have the space for it anymore so parting with my part of HRT history

The Foxtel coverage isnt bad...but hope F1 bring out a direct appl or something so I dont have to spend $1000 a year to watch races
