  1. You can all get stuffed. Last night after speaking with Paul I went home and had a hard look atht wheel pricing and figured I wont be hapy until i get them for mine. So once the rebuilt shocks are paid for its time for some 18x10 +35 & 18x9 +25s for my bus. As for you mob with your GTRs...jog on!
  2. As others have said, CE28s are a no go on 376mm sized setups. This car is awesome but Paul just isn't awesome enough for the wheel setup I would put on it. Clears the brakes and woudl be what Steve McQueen would run on his white R32 GTR if he was still alive and gave a sh1t about Jap cars Jacks Supercar brakes on his R33 were a nice setup but there was still a few little hiccups with it regarding offsets and tie rod end clearance. The calipers also saddle the rotor nicer so whilst using a V8 Supercar rotor and caliper can work on some wheels, running a V8 Supercar rotor with street caliper is going to limit your wheel choice further...but worth it to have the extra capacity of a 376 x 35mm rotor
  3. Gearbox is still going fine. It is only street driving and living in the city only so only so much load you can put through a box when in traffic
  4. I think its the front right king pin bearing on the hub to upright. Tyre now rubs on upright
  5. Well if someone is after a TRUST TD06H-25G then I need to sell my near new turbo to pay for the remaining things that needs replacing on my car before I can drive it in anger again. methz...get any runs at 18 or so psi?
  6. Well engine seems pretty healthy. Only got two laps before hitting problems but the one lap where I came on to the straight with traffic I was still 24km/h up on my previous best stratightline speed. SO thing has a load more mumbo then the old 98 tune on the 20G. The only pic from the day, idle in the pits
  7. So many stories of wayward Gayretts. Have you popped any? I remember at one point you wre looking at grabbing one of Fatz?!?!? I would say 2-3 out of 5 people I know running Gayretts have had troubles and needed replacing. Both singles and twins. If you want response go and buy a BB 68 Camaro with screw blower on it! Go the Truck turbos. At least when they hit they test the strength of your seat back
  8. Well Garrets want to be better if you are forever going to be throwing turbos at your car because the cartridge has failed
  9. If its not comfortable for a long drive then it doesnt fit you . I regularly drive to Sydney from Melb in my Momo seat. I droive to PI on teh weekend and the new Racetech seat is even more comfortable...but isnt as supportive as the Momo seat it replaced
  10. Item: Genuine Trust TD06H-25G turbo With 10ch Greddy 3 bolt turbone housing. Only done dyno work so like new (Can get whatever sized T3 housing off Kando/ebay for $150 if you want to run T3 rather than Greddy 3 bolt type housing) Great turbo for an RB25 or RB26 or RB30 running single. Will make 20-30rwkws more than a T67-25G with approx 200rpm increase in lag (approximations based on various results seen in friends and other cars) I had kept this turbo around with a view of trialling it against other turbos but after recent round of testing figure my new engine isnt probably strong enough to handle the power this will make. Comes with elbow for welding to outlet. Price: $1600 ono
  11. Near new, only done approx 3,000-5,000kms Only removed as running bigger turbo and this fuel pump maes out at 340rwkws on E85. Bolt in convenience that is near silent Asking $180 located in Melb
  12. Standard are fine for the grunt that the turbo is going to give you
  13. Gingeer beer for bfast was good to
  14. Fun weekend. Stoked with my 2:02 ...could have been worse I guess. But then again should have been sooooo much better
  15. Thats bonkers fast! Car looks really sable and balanced. No doubt in part to the fact that you drive the thing smoothly! I personally would mess with all the toe settings so its a handfull and 4 seconds slower but is a menace to drive with sideways action under brakes, through corners etc
  16. Nice. After my playing with turbos I was just going to go with my one but went T67 just so I could baseline my results against others as I am still not sure about the performance of my new kinder surprise engine. I have said this before but this time will follow through. Need to get my car over to you for a few runs so I can understand whether its far off what a T67 setup can do, I am making 325rwklws at 18psi falling to 16psi from about 5,500rpm onwards. After PI am going to make a few changes then will give it a few runs. Feels pretty healthy at 16psi and will be pretty easy on the engien and the track...also a little easier on the RB20 box

  18. That head was a work of art. Sounds like a great buy. If only it didnt have the cage
  19. Phil, No idea when first session is. I am guessing kicks off 9:30ish and may have had one session by lunch. Still got std diff ratio and std 210,000km old gearbox. There is some money being placed on box not lasting the weekend. I have no worries. Old RB20 boxes are tough
  20. James Allen and Brundle both said similar things either in teh press or over the coverage. He seems a destructive force, and credit to Mark for hanging around to spite the guy. But that has to take up some of his energy, mental capacity and interfere with him just getting on with the job. In a seperate report i read that post Malaysia Seb had been in the factory with time with Horner and the team apologising. Webber had been in the simulator and got an sms from Horner...saying "If you around swing by and say hello and we will grab a coffee" I dont think Webber and Horner have a real problem. I think that success breeds power and the Marko - Vettel combo with RBR money rule the roost. Dietrich seems a stand up guy that likes Webber and a certain culture....but is so far removed from the RBR operation that the power he delegates to Marko means he controls the gold, and he who controls the gold makes the rules. Its funny ,the past few weeks much has been said by accomplished motorsport / F1 journos if you pay for their publications. Interesting snippets at how RBR is a rather political place to be working and only bound by their success. Should that go...well.
