  1. Sounds like you are straight out of the asylum and ready to spend up AWESOME! If it were my engine and I wanted the sort of grunt twin 3037s are going to get you then you need every cc you can get so would be going for the BC. As for inlets the Greddy style plenums that retain the multi throttle setup are common in Japan...so too the Endless style inlets. Not much being done locally which yields the sort of grutn twin 3037s will net you. 10,000rpm 800hp GTR would be rather sweet
  2. Can you PM me your details..I am after a set of R33 LCAs and am located in Melbourne
  3. I need a job playing with cars I will never own. Watching this with LOAD OF INTEREST
  4. Yeh engine out time gives you a good opportunity to fix annoyting things. But deadlines and economics always make you stop short of all the things you would like to do
  5. SO some thieving maggot tried to steal my car and after a fair wack of hours have got it all sorted and running properly again. The only thing I cant suss is that there is a black earthing wire going to the accelerator pedal base and I cant work out what the wire was ripped from? Any ideas?
  6. I have sent you a PM.
  7. This thread needs an update
  8. Webber should have done a Sutil on Vettels throat post Japan 2007. Problem solved.
  9. What the f'n fark man!I badly want a Lotus Elise/Exige...pics of those pipes make me want one with loud, buzt pipes as well!
  10. Phillip Island in late April. Trying to get my new suspension and rear end in for it so that I can throw in my new gearbox. I have to put the rear end in with the gearbox otehrwise will need to do the tailshaft twice. Gearbox feels fine but concerned it will have trouble with the torque of bigger engine on E85 with more power and track work. it has done 210,000kms but at the end of the day not "not going to go" because of functioning RB20 gearbox may let go
  11. ..and Lauda is proving he is just another opinionated pork chop , much like Marko. Why would he come out and say he will speak to Ross and doesnt agree. He has no clue how to run a team, he is just a friggin tourist who rocks up and talks dribble. Looks at his last formal dabble in F1 at Jaguar...he did so well there didnt he
  12. I imagine any Nissan. I have gotten them from Ferntree Gully and Essendon. I think they are RB26s or Rb30s..samma samma
  13. That aritcile says much the same thing about Vettel. You need to read the whole article, it was an intersting spin on how Horner and RBR are so very different in reacting, or more to the point not reacting to events within the team LOL, did you read this statement in your link ? "Webber’s disgust stemmed from the fact there had been a pre-race promise and so he had been taken by surprise by Vettel’s duplicity"
  14. Nissan and about $10 a hit from memory
  15. That is something that Jonathan Noble on Autosport has commented on.. "Red Bull played its part in creating how Vettel behaved on Sunday, for his actions were not those of a disgruntled driver fed up with constantly being crushed. This was a man who has thrived, and become so central to the team that the line between his interests and those of the team have become completely blurred."
  16. I think its the exhaust back pressure at high rpm, cam timing and cams...a little bit of everything. The RB20 actually makes more power as the new engine falls over after 6,500rpm So will try new turbo with bigger housing, going for the 12cm2, cam gears, cams etc and I am pretty sure will find a bucket load of top end. Will throw the 20G back on to compare to see if the billet turbo is any better. I think the 20G could be a good thing if we can get it breathing up top and get it to hold onto power. A solid 4,000rpm range of 300 odd rwkws would be pretty solid result The 12cm housing shall at least enable me to flow plenty and see what the compressors will flow Yes, the character of the 2L is more fun. Will be interesting to see how is goes for traction at the track when driving in anger
  17. I would put money on the fact that Lewis would push his luck to the point that it would be detrimental to his own result if he didnt have very strong people on the pit wall
  18. They do fit R32s no problem so probably were tailored for the R32
  19. If you are not having problems with them then I guess there is no reason to change. I use std Nissan as after about 3,000kms there is always a reduction in oil pressure in my engine when using the Ryco and the other Autobarn etc filters. With the std Nissan the oil pressure barely changes to the point that I only really change them every 10,000kms. I have tried the K&N and other exotic $20 jobbies and cant tell the difference between Nissan OE. The NIssan filters are also cheaper...thats important to me
  20. I agree that Lewis was lucky to have them pull rank as he was far more wounded it seems for pace then Rosberg, But the thing to consider was they did have a good dice and Lewis fought back re-overtaking for what...two laps? So they were allowed to have a play...and then it seems Brawn jumped on air and said enough suspecting as you would that lewis woudl try and hunt down Rosberg and chase him and very well be a dnf for fuel. I can see Lewis pushign too hard despite being low on fuel ...so can understand why they did it. I dont like it but understand it. Like RBR, I understand it, I dont like it ...especially as one played ball and the other didnt.
  21. Take the car to someone that knows the tricks of the old girls. Otherwise some mechanics may try to tell you the sky is falling for something rather simple. As others have said there is nothing obvious that would suggest a miss and tapping noise is a problem. Thyere is a 30-50% chance its just a tired coil pack and the engine is a high km engine that hasnt always had good servicing and oil put through it. How long have you had it and what is the history of the car. The gooid news is that they eat up high kms, take a hell of a lot of abuse and you dont harm the average engine.
  22. Thanks...how bitey are the PMU pads? I have not used them and not having ABS was concerned they woudl be too grabby
  23. But there is nothing up top! Doing track work and only suign 4,000- 6,500 is pretty crap. Would rather 5,000-8,500. The NA cams are probably not great for power so will look at using the RB20DET cams or more likely my 256 Poncams
