  1. Shows how serious they are. He has been pretty average despite a season in the pits and a season of Fri testing. Can think if 4 ppl who i feel would readily jump in the car and trounce him...much like Mags has all year
  2. I am getting just a little excited about a Rosberg WDC. Bring it on. Very keen to see the dynamic of a happy Rosberg and a sooking Louise next year.
  3. I cancelled in disgust. Too many VWs and EVOs and only one real man in an R31
  4. Funny how Horner was saying Seb never carried on when he was at Red Bull and his behaviour at Fezz last race uncharacterisitc
  5. Alcon 6 Pot Caliper and Rotors I have held on to these calipers and rotors for years with a plan of putting them on whatever I bought next, an R31 coupe or R32 GTR. But still dont have the space for a 4th car and reality has set in that I have to continue to part with what I think is cool stuff I have collected over the years for my cars. I dont intend to run 18s on my my GTSt and it has a good 4 pot Stoptech 343mm setup for 17s and my Cossie already has 378mm 6 pot APs so these have no place to go except a 4th car which isn't happening anytime soon.:( So, these are similar to the common Alcon Mono6 that many people run on 365x32mm rotor. However these were an Alcon Jaguar caliper that ran 410x35mm rotors on what I believe was their GT4 cars run by Prodrive. So simply put the std Mono6 can only take a 32mm rotor and doesnt have the curvature to go much over 365mm. These take a 35mm rotor and can take any common R35 GTR rotor diameter. These calipers are used, but like new. They did one event and the car ended up through the kitty litter so the caliper got a few nics and bumps as rocks bounced around between rim and brakes. They have been freshly coated in silver by HPC and never ran on a car by me. I slapped a vinyl Alcon sticker on the caliper for the pics, but my intetion was to stencil NISSAN on the caliper, but thankfully havent done it to date and guess if I had doen so it would have limited their appeal for this sale. SO you are free to stick the Alcon stickers on them, paint Alcon on them or paint whatever you like But has evidenced by the condition of the pistons you can see they are as new. Rather than the 410mm Jag rotors I have a set of R35 GTR rotors measuring 380x35mm. They re freshly machined and still in spec but wont have another machine in them The calipers and rotors come with new DS2500 pads, but no brake lines or mounts. Asking $2200 for them for calipers, pads and rotors.
  6. What DaleFZ1 said. With a small pot 6 cylinder you dont need the TD06H turbine flow to max out the 20G compressor. I hear you re ther inlet manifold, I ran a Plazmaman and it made more power longer up top but that was over 7,000rpm or something. So is a little disingeinous for me to say it 40rwkws more at 8,000rpm. But it did....but also cost 25-30rwks through the mid Strangely the car lost top speed down the straight at PI as it smply didnt have the pull in top of 5th even though i was raping it hard into 8,000rpm in 4th before shifting. I was frustrated as the car struggled to pass a 135i with exhaust as according to data i lost a bit on the straight and a few corner exits but gained at a few others. If I had my time again I would go std...which funnily enough my current motor has RB20 architecture and I now run std inlet
  7. Cheers. I have my own inlet side made up. Looking for exhaust side so can float between 25 and 26
  8. When you think some setup time and materials and a labour rate to machine, droll and tap. A couple of hours work and materials seems reasonable.
  9. Dont use the TD06H...go straight TD06. Also...i wouldnt bother with a ffp. Other then that itsca proven 300rwkw setup on E85
  10. Anyone? Need a multi RB25-26 flange if possible
  11. Someone posted links to that stuff up. Maybe do a search. I dont remember the particuars that suggests to me the piston sizes were again less than ideal
  12. The last 10 laps provided some laughs
  13. Whats funny is if Nico gets up the haters will say it was becaise of unreliability. But Hamilton seems to be fine with a WDC from when Massa blew up whilst in the lead with only laps to go.....got lucky with rain on the last lap in Brazil etc. Just like when Nico had a throttle problem in Singapore yadda yadda...the more vocal English press gloss over the fact that Nico had problems in the race that he managed whuilst Lewis had problems in practice and quali etc Anyway, I dont care so do remember all the details. Not like the Webber - Vettel years I almost want Nico to have a DNF due to gearbox failure and then beat him with two wins in the final rounds!
  14. Had to laugh looking at spanker Lewis go to the wall to get pics with his fans and in repeated occasions shoved ppl away and told them not to touch him....then labour a smile for the photo. Way to go Lewis...yep you are the people's champion:(
  15. Ah the joys of street tyres and having to chase the grip. Tops vids
  16. I am just starting 3rd bottle and listening to the commentary whilst reading the rules i would have had to neck 2 bootle. The Brock movie promos will be a killer
  17. Yikes...i hated spending $1500 on my fuel system. So you got v-cam on thus truck now! Mega
  18. That would be a tough game to endure Kel! Come on Volvo!!!!!
  19. I repeatedly post that as wise words have been spoken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GTSBoy. I had some Performance Friction 343 rotors that I ended up using with soem CP5555 AP 6 pot calipers years ago. Before doing the dogbone for the AP caliper it so happened that the 280-324mm bracket sort of looked like a look with the 296mm R32 GTR/R33 GTS25T caliper I abandoned the idea after trial fitting and playing with it. The 343mm rotor was a lot profile anulis rotor but even still I couldnt get the Sumitomo caliper to saddle down snuggly on the rotor. The difference in curvature I found was just to big. If you ground out the middle of the caliper at its outer tips to open up the radius of the caliper than maybe but all got to hatchet very quickly. Should never have got rid of that 343mm 6 pot setup. Mega under a 17" wheel
  20. I dont rate the EVO upgrade kit . This would appear far better suited to std Nissan master cylinders and pedal leverage ratios. I personally would never run the EVO kits , even if i had ABS. These look a nicer solution Curious to know what caliper you found for the rears. I have never been able to find a nice Porsche 4 pot rear, even going old school 928/944 This looks on track for being a decent enough upgrade. Price is up for individuals to weigh up...but on paper it seems a better upgrade than the EVO calipers which based on piston size makes them a huge leap from std and how proven aftermarket kits from AP, Alcon, Bremo, Stoptech go about their kitd. But folk seem to give positive feedback so?!?! If you are drilling rotors etc may be worth looking at Mercedes ML 343mm rotors
  21. HiLol...was a rev up since he doesnt want to share any info. I am guessing he will install bleed nipples before he tries to chirp 3rds Looks like Cayenne calipers on a 324-332mm rotor of sorts as it all still fits under a 17" wheel.?!?!?!?! Probably work quite well on the smaller rotor. Problem with Cayenne calipers is they come with varying piston sizes depending what model Cayenne they are off. You need to have the ones with the smallest pistons to have a real chance of it being a good bolt on setup otherwise without ABS it will just be locksville
  22. I hope thats only a dummy/trial fit otherwise that is going to be close to the worst performing brake setup EVER
