R30 for sale in Sydney (Neutral Bay)

thanks for the hint... are you sure you can put it on a L24e R30 ? in the item description it says Silvia 1991 - 1994.... !?!?!? I just don't want to spend 200 $ and then have no use for this nice piece... :-)

hey guys, can't find anything on the net (for the R30) I can get some radiators for a R31 but I don't know if I could use them... I'm happy to buy for my beloved R30 even a brand new Aluminum Radiator... don't care too much about the $$$.... does someone know something around Sydney ?

hi, I'm on the other side of the city (north sydney, neutral bay) I bought this car of an old lady 16 months ago with only 116.000 km on it. and it drives well... engine and auto sounds solid, just changed the injectors and the waterpump. but my speedometer problem is since I have this car.

hmmm, sounds good... but it shows me a slower speed... so the other way round. I know that I have the right tyres on the car. right size ect... just changed them a few months ago. and the gearing should be ok as well. it is an auto transmission, it works fine and solid.

hi folks, my speedometer in my nissan hatch is out by something around 15 - 18 km/h according to my GPS. so when I'm doing 100 km/h on the clock my GPS shows my 82 - 85 km/h... (that is why I never got booked speeding, because I never had the GPS on... and I was wondering why a truck can overtake me when I'm doing 110) how could I fix this problem ? is there any chance that this is just a adjustment of something ? thanks guys, zee-german

I never heard that the L24 is restrictive to airfolw, but thats why I ask you guys. thank you again... hey folks, I was just wondering, I have a 1985 R30 Hatchback with the L24N engine, is it worth to put some money in it to give her a bit more power ? I love the car and I'm going to keep her for at least another 2 - 3 years. I'm able to invest some more money but I just don't know what to do... I want to keep the engine and the auto transmission... (I'm lazy) I'm not looking to double the kW, I just want to increase it a bit more. I need help, I'm new to the jap cars, back in germany I had a Golf II and a W124 (300E). I'm not a genius when it comes to Turbos or Superchargers... first I'm thinking to upgrade the front breaks because they have no bite. I found some posts where people put R32 breaks to the R30's... and than I'm ready to do more. but I don't know where to start. 1. should I get a nice manifold and exhaust system... or 2. should I think of a turbo... 3. or is it something else what I can/should do... ?!?!?!?! but when turbo, what else has to be done/upgraded ? oil pump, injectors, vale + vale springs.... ect. sorry for my english... I know it's zee-german

I already took off the bottom engine cover to take a look where the leak is... I will let you guys know when it's done thank's again zee german

hi folks.... my beloved 1985 Skyline R30 Hatchback has a cracked water pump... :-( I got a quote to get it fixed what would cost me around 500 $ ! ! ! but actually I'm looking to get just a water pump and do it myself. I can't find any on ebay or other places... and google doesn't help me either... need help or suggestions guys :-) thanks... zee german

thank you guys, I found the problem.. ! I'm bit a idiot, the 12V fan is for the AC. I switched the AC on and the fan started working... and it isn't the sensor as well , I just had air in the coolant system and the coolant water got to hot and evaporated.... lucky that I diden't blew the head-seal... :-) we germans invented the car, but sometimes we are just stupid... thanks for the comments. zee german

hi members, I own this sexy nissan R30 hatchback now for over a year and have a lot fun with her. I just came back after a 5.000 km trip trough australia... she did well. I just noticed that back in sydney the temperature get unusual high (it's showng over the middle @ the gauge) I checked the coolant water and it's fine. I noticed that the fan is running until the normal engine temperature is reached. than the fan stops working... ?!?!?! so because I'm not a mechanic, I would guess it's the temperature sensor or something. someone has a idea what it could be ? and how I could solve this problem ? I just changed the fuel injectors and done the oil / air filter change along with the spark plugs. so the car runs like new, she got aswell new tyres and rego, so I don't want to loose her :-) mike

thank you all for the answers. i fixed the problem. i got new o-rings and 3 old injectors from the wreckers. now everything works just fine... no more leaking injectors. michael

maybe, tomorrow i will go to Jap Parts Centre in St. Lansvale but the problem is that 3 plastic casing are broken, and they keep the right distance i think. sry, but i don't know what AFM means... (i'm a bloody german tourist... ) and rb30 is a turbo motor ?

i live in Sydney, Pymble i have a nice range of tools here, and i had back in germany a W124 (Mercedes 300E) where i done a lot of mechanical things by my self. i'm not scarred to change the oring's bymyself. but i dont have any book that would help me.

hi, i'm on a working visa here in australia. i just bought me a nice Nissan Skyline R30 hatchback with the L24E 2.4 liter engine. I have problems with leaking fuel injectors. I think the ORINGs are broke. where can i get new one ? and would be nice to get some tips for removing it.... :-) THX for help. (and sry for my englisch)
