  1. Buy a Supra. Mine is less than 6.5s to 100kph.
  2. Hunt down all the Skylines in your state on carsales that are similar to yours in condition and model, drop the price $500-$1000 (depending how fast you want to sell) and it'll go quick.
  3. What? I don't know any James, er, Jacob Dean. These are the only photos I could find on my phone. I also cooked "Swiss Chicken" at home the other night. Such a simple yet awesome meal.
  4. Forget fishbowls. I reckon next DECA we rock up at happy hour and aim for 100 vodkas.
  5. lol I know, and I appreciate the effort. I know i'm not part of the committee or anything but if you wanna chuck the results my way one deca I'll put them all up. I have far too much spare time.
  6. Who? What? Me? I know I did terribly! Spent the entire day trying to get the car to do what I wanted and it wasn't until the battles that it all came together. That and the fact I had to swerve to dodge an ibis on the basketball court! Well, no, I ploughed straight at it but I considered swerving!
  7. I still reckon a cheap Nokia with a good battery would do the trick. Leave it on silent, not to vibrate and set it to auto answer. Record that M tracking number and wire a car charger up to the battery somewhere very difficult to find and obscure within the car. As soon as it goes missing give the police the details, let them call the phone and track it. If its under lead sheet, just wait and keep calling. Even with the car battery disconnected a new strong battery that's been permanently on charge the power should last a long time, especially if its just sitting there doing nothing. Then install a generic alarm system that will mislead the thieves into thinking they've got the only alarm system in the car disabled.
  8. It might be enough to deter them in the first place though. I mean pulling a nice, clean car up with that doing damage to it would certainly attract attention. Mind you, its completely impractical for daily use.
  9. Would this stop a tow truck?
  10. What? I'd have to be drinking petrol to vote for a Subi! Bring back the dominating R32s imo.
  11. STi? No way. DECA can't be won by a green wheeled Subaru!
  12. lol. I had to boot my comp cause the iPhone wouldn't display it
  13. Damnit! I saw your reply and got excited about results! I really want to know how much I won by.
  14. In + 3 cars and 4 passengers (one per car)
  15. imo the deposit request is reasonable so long as nothing major crops up on the test drive. I mean it looks like a well kept, stock Nür. The owner claims there is nothing wrong with it and if upon inspection and his test drive (you're the passenger) you can't see anything wrong and still want to purchase it, I'd pay the deposit. After your test drive if you find out the gearbox is farked or whatever take the deposit back as the owner as the owner has clearly lied to you.
  16. Sad part is, I really do.
  17. Just put a cover over it, wait 2-3 years and I'll buy it off you! Seriously awesome car, if I had the cash I'd definitely take it off you.
  18. Could you put the AWD drivetrain in that too? Sure the soop would weigh quite a bit, but an AWD Supra would be sweet.

    New Old Car

    Nice car. Nice truck...
  20. I thought about that, but my main concern is that any heavily modified 180sx, particularly if they're sporting a 2-way diff, cage or the like is its probably been drifted. I don't mean around the streets I mean out on the track given the thrashing of a lifetime. There are some nice 180s floating around power mods, which I might look at, but if I wanted to go the full haul I'd buy an unregistered drift pig with the works done to it and save my money for spare parts.
  21. lol yeah I know sorry. Unfortunately the last two times I've been there I was on the skidpan helping out so I didn't get a lot of choice in who I battled.
  22. Disclaimer: I do not have this car yet, I may not even buy this car, but there's a good chance that I will. Plus I'm bored and building "fantasy" cars is always fun. Here's the scenario. I've been saving for a while now to get my turbo car when I come off my P's in 12 months. I had originally meant to get an S15 or an R34 GTT for around $20,000. However at the latest DECA I took a good look at a couple of mental 180SXs and was convinced to buy one. My plans for this car is for it to be my daily driver for a short while, track it occasionally, and goto DECA 4x a year. However once I have a steady income I can easily see myself getting a second practical daily and turning this into a track dedicated car. So considering I had $20,000 to begin with and I plan on buying a decent 180sx for half that. I still have $10,000 to spend on goodies. Assume the car is stock, what would you do? Things I definitely want are: 2-way LSD Coilovers - how much should I spend on these? $1,000 cheapies or go for a nicer set? Racing seat. Otherwise what else should I spend the $$ on? Brake upgrade Clutch Half cage (they're street legal, correct?) ECU, exhaust, intercooler, tune Swaybars Tyres Decent rims Turbo upgrade E85? I dunno, there's so much you can do. I'm just wondering what the wisest choice and order is to go about these things.
  23. Results have been up for like a day now on the other thread. Results.
  24. I only said 2J, and besides even IF mine had a 2JZ-GTE it wouldn't be worth 15k. 5spd would blow in no time, along with its crapy 2/1 pot brakes... still rather spend the coin on a decent RZ.
