  1. Come on it can't be that bad for the car. From what I've read its not worse than bouncing the limiter off the normal fuel cut (which admittedly is pretty bad anyway). I'm not going to sit there bouncing for shits and giggles, it'll just be when I hit the limiter as we all do at DECA, only this time with noise and flames. Plus its a healthy stock NA 2JZ, nearly impossible to break one of those. P.S. Thanks for the info on Edge, I'll call them tomorrow.
  2. Hey guys, Looking to get my limiter fitted before the next DECA but am unsure where to go as the instructions are entirely in Japanese, and it would probably require someone who knows the Supra wiring loom. Also I'm aware this does NOTHING for my car, if anything probably puts the engine at more risk, but f**k it. I want to go to a couple of DECAs with a straight pipe, ignition cut and make some noise. After a few events I'll pull it out and sell it. Cheers.
  3. I have a 2-way but only because TRD diffs only come as 2-ways and they're significantly stronger and cheaper than the competition. I had heard horror stories about the 2-way, especially on the street but if you drive normally you don't even know its there. On the track I have a bit of trouble, I'm still in the habit of releasing the throttle when the car gets a bit out of hand so the rear settles down but with a 2-way it just gets worse!
  4. Isn't drift largely about torque anyway? More torque means you can spin the rears easily rather than bouncing off the limiter.
  5. 1. 2-way LSD. 2. Quality coilovers. 3. Exhaust 4. Intercooler 5. Tune 6. 2JZ conversion
  6. Just make it simple. If they're there on the day and assist, when the accommodation thread for the next DECA rocks up any volunteers from the last DECA are able to reserve a place in that same thread. They can't pay or fill out forms till the official thread and forms are available, but their name appears on the list with Ryan, Leon, Clive, etc. If they don't reserve themselves between the accommodation thread and the official DECA thread they forfeit their priority entry and have to line up like everyone else. If they don't pay within a couple of weeks, they get bumped off the list.
  7. I still reckon volunteers should receive priority entry into the next DECA if they wish. You'd probably get a lot of people who miss out instead come up for the day to watch, and volunteer so they don't miss the next one.
  8. Don't need to be a member to goto DECA, just pay the DECA fee. Hamish if you want you can drive my NA yacht, just don't sink it. My payment is in, but won't be able to fax details till tomorrow morning.
  9. It 95% percent ethanol, and smells just like it. You can't get any higher % due to the fact it becomes so volatile that even a static discharge will cause an explosion. Even at 95% you could probably run your car on it, if it were tuned to E85

    Keyed....

I don't understand f**kwits who go out of their way to ruin other people's day. For example (and this is no where near as bad as the OP) I was driving along minding my own business yesterday when some chick in the passenger seat of a 4x4 yells out "Your exhaust sounds like shit", then another guy in the back seat proceeds to make the "wanker" hand gesture out the window. I mean why? You may not like my car or my tastes, but mind your own f**king business. S'all good though, they got stuck behind me at a set of lights and continued to yell shit so I sat there till the light went yellow then took off.
  11. I don't remember the last time I did an ABC shot, but I was told I did one!
  12. Chuck Brad and Josh on the skidpan in the morning.
  13. Okay I have four of us coming up: myself, Brad, Josh and Jett. We all need separate beds, can be in one room or two doesn't matter. Thanks Bec!
  14. Woop! I've been having withdrawals, and it's on my weekend off!! I'll definitely be there Friday and Sat, but unsure who's coming with me so I'll update tomorrow. P.S. I'll supply the Spirytus.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R55e-uHQna0&feature=player_embedded Too good to not post here too.
  16. A decent LSD will transform your car but I don't know if an NA RB20 (or even RB25) has the power to really make use of it.
  17. Sure he wasn't just admiring your car? I'd hate to be chased by a raving madman with a tyre iron just for checking out someone's Skyline.
  18. Damn this is tempting. Where abouts are you located? Edit: As much as I'd love this I really can't afford it now and its not feasible. Don't have room to store it, don't have trailer or a car capable of pulling a trailer. Couple of years time though... I'll put it up on Facebook for you anyway.
  19. Hey guys, Got a mate who has a turbo model Silvia with an NA engine conversion. Problem is being an SR20DE its completely gutless. Now we don't want to spend mega bucks on an NA engine when we're only going to turbo it later, but we were wondering are there any mods that will give the NA engine addition power, but can be carried onto its turbo form. I was thinking cams, maybe an aftermarket ECU with a tune, E85... What would work? Cheers.
  20. I used to not like the older RX7s, but in full JDM trim they look pretty nice.
  21. Damn I just bought this package (minus some of the games) for $500 a week ago after my old xbox red ringed!
  22. Buy a better sub. Fusion sucks. 200rms is pathetc.
  23. I'd love to come but it is simply too far away! I gotta work in the late afternoon and I live on the Mornington Peninsula. Have fun guys.
  24. Buy nice high quality rims. You can transfer them to your next car, sell them or just keep them for when you turbo this current one. TE37s, Meisters, CE28s, Advan RS-Ds... so many nice ones.
